DN3 Earpiece and Speaker Volume Issue - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Today there was a weird issue
Sometimes the Earpiece or Speaker doesn't produce any sound during CALLS.
When it is restarted it works fine. Another issue was at times the Earpiece and speaker sound is too low during calls so when I press down the Volume button and again increase the Volume it's back to normal.
I own a t889 and I have flashed the appropriate MK7 modem. Any thing do I need to look back to make it work?
I have ketan wifi patch.

[Q] headset volume kaput nor mic

After flashing a rom the headset spkr and mic do not work. Reverted back to original backup... still not working.
However while in call, using speaker phone works along with mic when phone is on speaker phone mode.

[Q] Come on guys | Volume setting issue help please...

All of a sudden my wife's N2 has developed a speakerphone issue.
Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
Phone : Verizon Note II : SCH-I605
Flashed to Boost a year ago.
Android Version : 4.1.2
Baseband : VRAMC3
Non speakerphone usage works fine. Has always worked fine.
Cache cleaned and data reset. No change.
When you use the speakerphone the person that you are calling hears you perfectly. The speaker volume on the N2's end is very very low. When you look at the volume level indicator for the phone it shows a red line when you turn it all the way up. If you turn the volume down one click the red line goes away but you can still barely hear the person talking through the speakerphone.
I cannot get the red line to go away when she turns the volume all of the way up. The ringer on the phone is perfect and can get loud enough, so we know that the speaker itself is fine. When you talk on the phone, speaker volume is fine as well.
Any ideas guys/gals?
Thank you,
John

Volume control in-call speaker not work

Does anybody else have problems with the volume control incoming calls? When I make or recieve a incoming call the speaker extremly loud. I tryed pressing hard volume buttons in this time, and on screen is changing, but in fact volume remains the same, loud and not change. I had CM12.1 how. Before I had CM10 and hard buttons works well. Any ideas?
I use Candy 5 (CM12.1) and don't have issues with volume for phone calls. Have you tried wiping your phone and re-flashing? Basicly have a clean installation without any apps installed.

Speakerphone volume issues on custom roms - OctOS, Slim, etc.

I've seen a few mentions here and there on rom threads about issues with the i747 speakerphone - but no responses as to how to/it was fixed - specifically not being able to control speakerphone volume as well as echo on the other end of the call when trying to use speakerphone.
I've had the issue on OctOS and Slim roms, both 7x and 6x android versions, but not having an issue if going back to stock rom. The volume and clarity is fine & adjustable when using the handset, but when you switch to speakerphone in call it is really loud and the clarity is bad (it cuts out every other word or so) as well as the person on the other end says they can hear themselves. When pressing the hardware volume keys the on screen indicator is showing lowering the volume, but it doesn't have much if any impact on the volume coming out of the speakerphone.
What needs to be updated or flashed to take care of the speakerphone issues?
Same (but different) on basic Lineage rom
I also recently tried a base Lineage 14 rom (lineage-14.1-20180531-UNOFFICIAL-d2att). There is definitely a noticeable change in speakerphone volume when its adjusted with this rom however the echo persists.
I TWRP'd back to a recent Oct-N backup since it was fully setup already and the base Lineage didn't fix the issue. I paired a Bluetooth headset while on Oct-N and it works just fine, so that's a workaround for not being able to use the speaker.
It seems to me the echo is being caused by the speakerphone mic picking up the speaker audio. Is there a way to adjust echo cancellation or the sensitivity of the speakerphone mic (not seeing anything in basic settings menus)?

Rooted XL - still low in call volume

I've been having low in call volume since this summer, despite wiping, upgrading, etc pixel XL.
Speakerphone volume is fine, bt volume is fine, headphone volume is fine. Just in call earpiece volume(ear next to phone).
I was finally able to root my device, so I thought about trying to fix this again.
I saw viper4android, but I'm not sure this will work for Android P/9?
I also saw some references to system/etc/mixer_paths.xml, however, I don't seem to have that file?
Any ideas?
