Hi, I am on a custom 4.3 room with root?
Is there any way to go back to 4.2 without sprint trying to get you to upgrade every 10 mins?

So I've already rooted my Nexus (CDMA) an am currently on stock 4.0.2.
4.0.3 is coming out soon and I would like to have it (I want to stick with stock for a while). Since the update will almost surely break root, I'm wondering what my choices are going forward.
What I'm hoping to be able to do is update via the OTA update, then re-root WITHOUT wiping my phone. Since the bootloader is already unlocked I figure there is a good chance of this.
My whole point for this post is to know if I can apply the 4.0.3 update without losing all my apps and config (I know I can back them up but I don't wanna)
Has anyone re-rooted going from 4.0.1 to 4.0.2, or have any experience with this?
How would I go about it completely reseting my siii to stock like I never touched it, including reseting whatever counter thingy.
Keeping root would be nice, but not necessary.
I don't care much for the leaked jellybean roms and would like to be ready for when the official one comes out. I wouldn't mind having the stock leaked jellybean if that does not affect anything and will be able to be legitily be upgraded to the full jellybean when tmobile gets around to it.
Thanks in advance.
So I have a new phone coming in on Wednesday and I plan on giving this S3 to my mom. Switching from Blackberry to Android is a big enough jump for her, so I'm sure she won't understand on how to work this ROM. Also, she plans on taking both our phones to Tmobile so they can transfer contacts. How can I downgrade back to stock ROM without bricking my phone? Please help! Thanks in advance.
To flash back to stock, download your current firmware, or latest firmware and flash with Odin.
Hi, so yesterday my phone received the KitKat update from Samsung. I installed it and immediately found issues with KitKat's external SD write issues. Apps I use need access and I don't want to root. (Since it trips Knox? I also eventually want to sell the phone)
Is it possible to revert back to the older official Jelly Bean that I was on? I found this official (I assume) firmware on Sammobile for my mdoel.
Following the instructions, I'm worried about Knox. Will it trip Knox by flashing back down to older Jelly Bean with the process above? I'm new to this so I know very little about this. I just want to roll back
Thanks in advance.
Hi y'all,
It's been ages since I have messed around with my device! So I need some lessons.........
I have a Verizon Samsung Note 4 currently on HAVOC ROM with Android 9 and N910VVRS2CQE1. I want to downgrade to KitKat 4.4.4 STOCK.
1. Do I need to downgrade the BL also?
2. Is this all going to happen through ODIN or is there a stock image I can flash through TWRP without much fuss?
3. A little hand holding would be appreciated !
I have searched for days here and Google. XDA 's new search is a little tough to get used to.
