Hi folks, I have my Wifi Note since half a year now and I love it. Unfortunately it started having problems with lockscreen lag when unlocked horizontal. Doesn't matter what unlock feature is enabled (swipe, password, pattern...) when I want to unlock it, it freezes and some seconds later it shows the vertical (portrait) lockscreen no matter I still hold it in horizontal (landscape) orientation...

Sometimes it's all fine and suddenly after i watch a video or play a game in landscape it stops rotating the screen, sometimes i just have to turn the screen off and back on and it gets back to normal, other times i really need to reboot to make it work again! I am on stock rooted 4.4.3 with glitch kernel , has this happened to anyone else but me?
And this isn't the only problem i've been having with my nexus 7, sometimes the screen gets totally unresponsive and i have to reboot or just like it happened today for the 1st time the screen wouldnt even turn on, my alarm was playing and i had to long press power button to shut it down.. I dont know if it's because of the kernel or if this is some kind of a bug..
Any help would be really appreciated :good:

it seems like there's no real solution for this, I can't remove and connect again the battery as the other user in that thread did. I use an app to force rotate but it's not a good option..
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Free mobile app
In case someone still reads this topic. I had a rotation problem almost since beginning with my Nexus 7-13. Most of the time forced to use 3rd party app to force rotation without auto rotation working.
After safe mode booting Nexus (push power button for reboot menu, long press shutdown in reboot menu, choose safe reboot) rotation works normal, so no hardware sensor failure, but a software/app problem causes rotation to stop working.
The app causes the problem in my case appeared to be Dashclock widget used for lockscreen. After removing dashclock widget out of lockscreen and reboot rotation works. Re-using Dashclock and rotation stops working again after sleep mode N7-13. Tried several times with same result. Now I use Chronus widget instead of Dashclock in lockscreen. Haven't had rotation problem in weeks while rotation didnot work 99% of time before.
Hope this helps others too.

If you turn of the 'adaptive brightness' and put the brightness very near the bottom - I find that gray items on a black background almost disappear. It's like the phone starts to lose contrast at low brightnesses. Other text is really easy to read, but the gray text is impossible to see.
Also when you scroll the items have a really obvious blue trail, and it's very distracting. Any one else having this issue?
Here's a screenshot to show the issue. Worth downloading and putting full screen to see the issue http://i.imgur.com/GYHcDQG.png
I feel like if there are other people having this issue, this is a big problem with how the OP3 manages brightness.
How's about moving the slider up a bit?

Aha, yeah, that's possible.
But in a dark room with adaptive brightness on - the phone goes to that setting by default. Which is a design flaw. And the blue trails still happen at higher brightnesses.
Are you trolling? If it's an issue with the screen it's obviously not going to be visible in a screenshot.
there is another strange issue with me too, when auto brightness is ON and in dark environment the brightness goes up by itself while playing with HOME SCREEN and when u lock the screen and on it again it goes normal but than again after few second in home screen the brightness goes up
Can´t dim the brightness at all!!
Hi,
I have an issue were I can´t dim the brightness at all!
I have a oneplus 3, with CM13 installed
Killing my eyes!
Any solution?
Hey,
im running official CM13 and i hope you can help me with my question.
If i enable Fingerprint-Sensor, it works even with Screen-off. I only want to unlock my phone with the Fingerprint if the Screen is on, so after i pressed the powerbutton.
Is this possible?
Thx in advance.
Fingerprint sensor is always on. I (and probably many others) don't understand your question. If your phone is screen on on lockscreen evidently you can finish unlocking it with your finger.
Doesn't even worth a question.
I meant that i wnt to unlock my phone with fingerprint ONLY when the screen is in and not with screen off. Sry if i my question wasnt clear. Hope you can help.
Screen off and on doesnt matter.
you only have to put your pattern/pin after reboot thats it

You dont understand what im asking.
I want to find a way to unlock my phone ONLY after pressing the powerbutton(so screen is on) with the fingerprint-sensor. Like you would do with a "normal" PIN.
I know the fingerprint-sensor is able to unlock the phone even if the screen is off, but i dont want it to work that way.
Installed the latest LOS build (happens on all builds)
Sometimes the screen of my LG G4 (H815) does not wake up and stays black or is extremely dark.
This happens e.g. when ending a call (covering the screen for a short time makes the screen visible) or when unlocking the phone (then I have to "lock" the phone again and retry)
This is issue only occurs sometimes - haven't figured out why...
Is there a workaround for this?

My phone doesn't ask for a password when booting but still won't turn on when there's an alarm.
BTW it didn't even work when I turned off the pattern and fingerprints.
Anyone knows how do I solve it?
It's a setting in the (alarm) clock itself. You gave to set it.
