stock rom N7100.
I'd suggest you to install / test the same in a different browser like chrome or dolphin. Probably the orange squares are related to some accessibility option.

I have same problem and some apps won´t work with Chrome. At the moment I have the same issue with LockScreen When uninstalled all problems is gone.

I have been trying to update my Avatar via the App and when I do I get an error message. Here is a screenshot of the message, Any ideas on how to fix it??

Not sure what the error is, but you might have more success using the website in a browser.
What error do you get when trying to add an avatar in a web browser?
What image are you trying to use?

I was given a note 7 and I hard reset it and now won't let me passed google sign in
So google is now blocking Note7s? Or what did you want to say?

or rather the Google account and password of the original owner. Google accounts need to be removed before passing phones to new owners.

Well, finally made some progress. Sync.me found a few contacts, but I found most using manual add from FB accounts...lucky I did not have more than 50 contacts....
