Hi guys... My tab 3 is rooted with CWM 6.0.2.8. When I try to do nandroid backup, it says "Can't mount backup path.". What should I do? It seems like it doesn't detect the internal SD and my SD card.

Does the nandroid backup also backup sdcard.
I am about to format my sd card and I already saved what matters like photos and nandroid backups, but im wondering if anything goes wrong will the nandroid backup fix the problem or do I have to backup to my pc (which sadly doesnt have the space)
Nope, just the phone. If you app2sd then it will back up the ext partition that the apps are on but that about as good as it gets.
You could always back it up to a usb drive or dvd-rw if you have them.
hi!
I have a defy, rooted with z4root and installed clockwork recovery from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=875233
everything is fine, superuser is here, I can boot into recovery but when I want to do a nandroid backup or install zip from sd it says something like: "can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 or /dev/block/mmcblk0"
one more thing, when I try to access my sd card through astro file manager, first it says: "directory mnt/sdcard not found" and then it shows the content of the card....and at the top of the screen it should say /mnt/sdcard, on my phone it's just /sdcard...
what could be the issue, did I do something wrong when I rooted it, installed recovery?
faulty sd card?
is there a way to undo everything and try to do it all over again?
I've searched everywhere but didn't find any usable solution...
thank you
have you tried formatting your SD from phone-->setting-->...
might be faulty SD
that did the trick, thank you
Hey guys, just got a question about Nandroid.
If I have apps that I moved to the SD card, will Nandroid backup these data? That is, let's say I did a Nandroid backup, and copied out the cwm folder from SD card. If I now:
- wipe SD
- copy back the cwm folder
- restore backup from cwm
Will I get back my application data and settings for those apps moved to the SD card?
Thanks!
Yes.
10char
Yes. You will see a .android_secure during the process being backupped.
Also if you move using Link2SD, it will backup as sd_ext.
Several weeks ago I unlocked my bootloader using the HTC website (i didn't get s-off), I installed a custom recovery then flashed the Android Revolution ROM, today I downloaded and installed CM11 but it has issues with music playback so I tried to restore my phone from a nandroid backup on my sd card but I keep getting an error saying...
E: unable to mount '/data'
I can access the nandroid backups on my sd card (but they won't restore) and I can't access the ROM zip files I have on my internal storage.
Any advice to fix my phone would be very much appreciated!

Try and put a rom on your external storage and flash, also check for sd errors on pc, maybe worth saving what u need on it and formatting it
Try loading a ROM using adb sideload
For some reason whenever I try to backup my T705 using TWRP the backup doesn't show up in the TWRP backup folder on my external SD Card. I don't know where it has been saved to.
Any help greatly appreciated.
UPDATE. Just flashed TWRP 2.8.7.0 and get the message E:- Unable to locate '/efs2' partition for backup process.
can I ask what does that mean?
Thanks
You're probably backing up to the internal storage. Make sure the backup location selected is MicroSd.
You can try my version here if you still get backup problems.

Hi
I always backup to the ext. SD Card. However I'll try your version.
