INSTRUCTIONS
Wipe data, cache, and dalvik
Install Rom zip file
Install gapps
Flash modem (if needed)
Flash kernel (if needed)
Boot into rom. You will likely have working 3g and not 4g. Setup the rom all the way through until you get to the homescreen.
Enable root using the permissions app in the security folder.
Add att apn
Download Terminal Emulator from play store
Type su. Hit enter. Type "fixdata.sh" without the quotes. The device will reboot
Apply a new MIUI theme to fix voice calling and reboot
PROFIT!
Google apps are now flashed seperately. Use 20121011 release.
ROOT: root works with my build.prop. Open the permissions app in the security center, and enable root.
If you accidentally go into mobile networks, just run "fixdata.sh" from terminal again*Not sure if this applies to us on ATT, because i had to go set up the ATT APN and save it..

I ran across a common Note 2 MIUI issue. When the phone app crashes (which is expected when someone hangs up on you) it breaks any bluetooth audio connections until you reconnect the device manually.

Tried to flash kernel from 3rd post with mobile Odin and phone would not boot anymore. Blank screen after Samsung splash screen. Was able to Odin back to el26. But it broke my flash.

No the kernel is not meant for phone and dangerous thats exactly why i removed the kernels from the rom so even if you clicked it nother would happen it would just flash stock cm kernel

Doesn't matter. All native MIUI versions are for GSM phones. It's a Chinese ROM, so the focus is on GSM phones. Whether he ports it directly from the GNexus or waits until it's working on d2vzw and ports that one, it has to come from a GSM device at some point.
Putting the ILLA in KILLA since 1985
XiaomiServiceFramework.apk is connected to data and phone services I believe you get that fixed and it will fix almost every thing else I had the same issues with ports from the NS4G to the OG epic no modems to services or miui home.....

once you booted up if you dont see data turn on go into settings mobile network and toggle either Cdma/evdo or Cdma+LTE/Evdo for LTE or you can use Phone info app if you need to either one works to toggle CDMA auto(PRL) for 3G and LTE/CDMA auto(PRL) for 4G..

only after every reboot you have to manually toggle data back on using phone app if you need to and Now settings mobile network Cdma+LTE/evdo works now so can use either that or phone info app which ever but only when you reboot your phone,besides that data works

It works on 4G but I think its just issues with cm I believe ...sometimes a reboot is what it needs to work

Tried flashing and got a "failed, error executing binary script" also got a "failed trying to flash zip". Checked the md5 and it matches with the rom. Had this problem flashing MIUI v3.6.28. I'm on MIUI v3.6.21 with no flashing problem.
Everything is smooth but yeah MMS is not working

I'll give it a bash tonight for sure. Honestly with the awesome-ness that is your BB8.5 (great performance as well as super battery life) it makes it hard to wanna use other ROMs LOL

Guys I didn't make this ROM it from Meizu and they choose CM as base I can't change it and the ROM its open source
i have to say its a great rom, its the smoothest rom out there, no lag at all,there is some bugs the music player doesnt read music from sd card, and the same with the video player, and the keyboard doesnt support arabic, distortion in high volume, the rest looks very good, hope to see updates soon....
