Hello I bought a Samsung BT headset from ebay and Im not sure why its not working. Its being detected by the phone but when I turn it on its blinking red, is it suppose to do that? I cannot also hear anything when I use it.

I just bought the Blue Ant Blutooth head set for my Wing and It sounded like CRAP untill I did some registry hacks to clean up the sound .Thanks to Hardcore & Sleuth255.
The headset themselves are comfortable but still not nearly as loud and clear as the stockers. They reach far and when a call comes in I
can hear the other caller in stereo..nice
One major problem is when you turn off the headset or phone u have to re pair them EVERY time..that sucks
on a 1 to 5 I give them a 3 for $80.00 they could be better.
Why do you have to re-pair them? I use them with my Tilt and don't have to. Must be something with the stack. The hands-free reconnects automatically when I turn them on but for A2DP I have to used A2DP toggle. I bought them from eCost for $24 because they didn't have the retail packaging.
what is the model of the bliant
blueant sorry
ok I couldnt take it anymore so I returned the blueant and got the mot0rola s9, these are HOT !!!!
Smaller, lighter & they connect instantly, and the sound is a 1000 times better for the same price ,the only difference was when I recieved a call with the Blue Ant it was in stereo and with the s9 its in mono.
I have the wing phone.
I hear the skips with both headsets, and Is it me or does anybody else hear the music speed up after the skip??wtf?
i apologise that my first post on this incredible site is a question instead of something usefull but here goes.
i have an adapter that allows me to plug an audio jack into my phone to play music on my car radio. when a call comes through i can here the caller through the speakers but have no way of responding. i had a tytn2 that briefly (for reasons unkown) didnt turn off the phone mic alowing me to talk back. anyway to do this deliberatly on the pro2?
sorry if this has been covered did try and search
still cant find an answer. anyone?
can no one help or am i asking wrong
I use the same setup in my car.
I use this accessory http://store.everythinghtc.com/htc-multifunction-audio-adapter/11A75A4401.htm.
I have no problems and the Mic works just fine.
I've had the TytnII before and i have to say the TP2 works much better in noise cancellation.
hi,
I have the same problem than you.. with this adapter http://store.everythinghtc.com/htc-3-in-1-usb-adapter/11A75A3571.htm
I 've seen this adapter in a shop and will get it then http://store.everythinghtc.com/htc-multifunction-audio-adapter/11A75A4401.htm
Also, while using the 1st adapter connected to my car ext aux, the bluetooth earphones works for phone calls but not the microphone..
im not using an earpiece as the other person plays throughthe car speakers. was hoping to just be able to talk and be picked up on the mic on the headset. as i said this worked briefly on a tytn2 but most of the time the phone seems to turn the phone mic off as it thinks its connected to hands free
It works now perfectly for me using this adapter only:

I can't find a simple friggin BT A2DP reciever for my application.....
I want to be able to listen to music and calls over BT plugged into the auxillary port on my van's stereo head unit. I need a BT reciever with a 3.5mm output: I have found the opposite (a transmitter to plug into your mp3 player). I don't need LCDs and buttons and controls, etc.
And if I buy a A2DP headset (speakers only), how does WM use a mic during a phone call? Does it use the phone's mic, or will it just not let me use it as a handsfree for phone calls?
TIA!
This what ya looking for?
I use this plugged via 3.5 adapter to aux in my 5.1 surround

That was actually on of the units I was looking at.
Will that run plugged into the charger? I know alot of BT stuff disconnects while charging. I would prefer to just leave it plugged into the charger (turns on and off with the ignition).
Thanks!

If its A2DP only, WM will route all aspects of the call back to the phone, so you'll have to either hold your head to the phone, or use speaker phone... but either way no phone call sound will come from your van, except for the initial ringing.

Actually, when I have my DS200 plugged into my 5.1 surround, I can call people AND hear them through the speakers, suggesting that you do hear people. Am I right in thinking your van will be the same concept?
And yes, you can have it plugged in and running simultaneously

All right, I am not the only one who is looking for the solution.
I searched ebay thoroughly and asked sellers the same question about running while plugged into the charger. Got the same answer - 'no'. If it is not a mandatory feature, you may try ebay, DX for cheaper (within $15) solution.
At some point, I was also looking for an MP3 player which turns on-off with ignition and has an audio out. FM transmitter delivers very poor performance, as it is impossible to find an unused frequency for a trip as short as 30min. I was out of luck there. Then I thought about BT solution. Nothing good there. Now I use a used WM Standard phone (bought from, again, ebay for ~$7). Of course, it has to be manually turned on and the unit has scratches all over, but the S/W features and sound quality are awesome.

That's b/c the DS200 is not A2DP only, it also supports the handsfree protocol. Certain receivers are aimed at only transmitting music, and thus they only support A2DP. If he wants calls to go through the speakers on his van, he should avoid those types of receivers.
Just purchased the above headset with the charging case which you plug into the headset via USB.
I can't seem to find any information on whether you can still use the headset while it's plugged in to the charging unit, though I suspect that you can't after I tried to do so. The control buttons seem to become inactive. But do I wonder whether there is another button combo that I haven't tried. In any case, does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks in advance.
I bought Redmi Note 8 and I'm having 2 issuea with it.
1. The touch skipping/delaying on bottom left edge during typing (?123 button?.
2. Headphone icon starts blinking soon as i plug in the jack, so what happens is I hear the audio from headphones for one second then speakers for other second and it keeps repeating.
Is anyone having these issues? Should I be worried if its a hardware issue? Please reply. Thanks.
Edit: I have found a way to work the headphones, I put the headphone pins half in so it detects the headphones then after a few seconds i hear a slight shutter sound in headphones, after that if i plug it all in it works completely fine.. I'm not sure if that's software or hardware issue.
SOLVED - Turns out I was using some out-dated handsfree with some TRS strips I'm not sure what the problem was but I just bought a new pair of handsfree and they seem to work totally fine.
I had a very similar issue with the headphones. It wasn't blinking and switching constantly like it did with you but it didn't detect the headphones at all occasionally and it played sound from speakers even if headphones were plugged in. I use the same fix as you and its now fine.
Bro I m facing the same issue the earphone jack icon is blinking but when I put Samsung earphone they workd fine but other earphones are blinking as same as you said earlier, so what should I do bro?
redmi note 8 pro headphone jack issue
i am facing same problem when i put earphone it is blinking and sound is also for alternate with blink
