Are you rooted or not?
If yes, Then Flash via Mobile Odin.
If No, Try from a different usb port or pc. It might work.

Check if you have any software running that could conflict with Odin. For example: Kies

Yes, you can install Gingerbread based Custom ROMs like CM7.2 or Modified Stock ROMs through recovery. For Eg:-

Thank you for your reply but i want the official 2.3.6 android because i want to sell the phone.

You can install that modified stock ROM. It looks exactly same as a stock 2.3.6. When I sold my device it had CM7.2 on it and the shopkeeper was very impressed by its features compared to stock. So I don't think they will really look into it, even if you are on stock or custom ROM. Actually many shopkeepers don't even know what a custom ROM is. Anyways its all your choice but I don't think Odin could work without USB. How about Mobile Odin by Chainfire? I'm not sure whether it is supported by Gio.
via Phone
Thank you but i have USB and i can connect the phone to PC but in Odin when i click start tells me to connect the devide.
P.S.: sorry for my bad english! I think you understand what I mean!

Does your USB cable works with other devices?
If it is does, then your phone's USB port is damage.

if u can't boot, try to flash ur stock rom again first.
in flashing cwm via odin, u don't need to put anything aside from ops (ancora ops), one package (recovery .md5 file)

So, anyone knows if it works? I'm without a PC and want to flash new bootloader.
Or the WI-FI fix patch instead the BL.
Thanks
Get odin3 apk file to flash rom but must be root

While in theory Mobile ODIN can repartition and flash EFS and bootloaders, it will cowardly refuse to do so, for your own safety.

I want to flash firmware on my phone (preferably the one it already has) as it is unresponsive. I can't get it to download mode or anything but odin seems to recognize it so can I do something to flash some firmware over it and maybe have it turn on?
Yes you can flash the same firmware using Odin without losing your data, but be sure to make a Nandroid backup just in case
