I've been trying to get the awesome Ditto Note 3 to work on my Note 2 GT-N7105 but i just can't seem to get the radio to turn on. I always get "network not available" error. I would have given up and enjoy another rom, but the every single thing seems to be working except for that annoying radio bug! I even tried flashing relevant modems.zip with csc for my phone and non of them seems to be working! Can anyone please help me I really want this rom for my n7105. FYI, I fleshed devil t0lte kernel after flashing Dn3 rom as the wifi wasn't working. Thanks!
Just flash a 4.3 modem for N7105.It should get your radio working.
it seems that whatever modem I flash, I still get the same result. I even editted the upated script to not flash the modem.bin that dn3 rom included, same freaking problem... But when i flash n7105 roms, i get back the old working mobile network. I'm guessing its something to do with the files in the partition?

Hi,
I may not be the only one having this problem as i've had reports of this happening on the fakejap thread. Basically my wifi fails to connect to my home network after flashing a 4.3 custom rom (Fakejap, Phoenix, DN3). It does however work when i flashed the stock MK4 rom.
Not sure if i may have done something wrong and odin broke something during the bootloader update or the wifi patch.
Attached is the logcat also when trying to connect.
At first I thought it was the ROM, but I flashed 4 different roms and still the same problem. Every time someone calls me it drops my signal, all my bars go away and whoever called me cannot hear me. Idk how to fix this :/

4.4 seems to require at least the 4.3 modem baseband, you need to flash it via Odin. Be careful on the version, note the one already installed and chek which one is the normal upgrade. My m919v only worked with it's specific modem.
There's a few topic about this. Can't post link but look for this one: [ONLY FOR MDL BOOTLOADER] How to use 4.3 MK2 Modem and Retain Sound
Okay so I just returned to stock because I couldn't fix the problem .. so now i'm running android 4.2 and my wifi wont connect. Keeps giving me this when I try to turn on Wifi
Hi all, I was flashing a Infamous Google Edition ROM and everything was okay until my phone booted up. My carrier is WIND and I have the SGH-M919V, and every time I locked/unlocked my phone I wouldn't have a signal. I would have to search for my network every time I unlocked my phone, which was really irritating. I tried three other Google Play Edition ROMS, and they all wouldn't let me get a signal. This is strange because I have previously flashed the INFAMOUS S4 ROM with no problems whatsoever. I am currently on Android 4.3 stock rom.
My question to you guys is this: How do I fix the no signal problem so I can get a custom rom again?
Rooted with CF-Auto-Rooter, and used Philz Touch 5 if that helps.
Thanks in advance!

Sigh... What bootloader are you on? KNOX or non-KNOX? If you are on non-KNOX, you need to Odin flash the 4.3 modem that is all over the forums. If you're on KNOX bootloader, check your APN settings. Hope that helps. :good:

Did you find the problem? I'm having a similar issue, but not quite sure where to find this "4.3 modem". I've read references to the mk2 modem but so far it hasn't helped me.
My issues are on Hyperdrove or Darthstalker roms, my network (wind) won't stay connected if I turn the screen off. But on any AOSP rom my network connection is solid.
Also, on this mk2 rom my connection is fine: https://sites.google.com/site/dannyben777/home
I'm just wondering how I can get my WIND network connection to work on the hyperdrive rom =\
This is what I did:
I was trying to get Infamous S4 Google Edition (which is 4.4) when I was on 4.2.2. I tried to install it, but apparently it wouldn't install properly (forget the details). I tried going back to 4.2.2 to try it again, but strangely enough it boot-locked at the SAMSUNG screen. I upgraded to 4.3 and everything worked, so I tried the Infamous ROM again the next day, and it worked
Strangely enough, every time I try to charge my phone when it's powered off it boots back up again, and says something about a kernel (forget, kind of lazy to check).
Hope this kind of helps!
Hey, so I just got an SGH-T889 to replace my SGH-T989 and I went about putting a custom ROM on the same way I'd put one on my SGH-T989.
Wipe everything, stick the mSD with the flashable zips in, install ROM, GAPPS, and radio. Boot. Work.
Did this on the SGH-T889 and when I got in, I had no cell signal. Said the SIM wasn't good. So I just figured I cut my SIM wrong and it stopped working. Picked up a new mSIM this morning and the same issue. Throw the mSIM in an adapter and tossed it in my old phone. Worked fine.
On the stock ROM, it connected just fine.
So, I'm wondering if when I formatted it if I probably shouldn't have formatted tombstones or firmware because those two aren't on the S2..
So I downloaded the stock image and tried flashing it via Odin so I can not format tombstones or firmware this time.
<OSM> SGH-T889_TMB_T889UVBMB4-teshxx.tar.md5 is invalid.
On the T989, there was a stickied thread on flashable radios. Can't find anything on this for the T889.
The custom ROM's I used were LiquidSmooth 3.2 and Cyanogenmod 10.2. Same issue on both.
Really want to get my new phone working. Thanks.
So I just read your post; I had to look twice because I thought I wrote it. I'm having the same issue as you and flashed the same ROMs. Looking for answers too. Good to know I'm not the only one.

Hi. I have a Sprint Samsung Note 4. I was getting a screen overlay error and decided now would be the time to change the ROM on the Note.
I followed the steps from "How to Install CyanogenMod on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Sprint ("trltespr")"
After I installed the first ROM, which was the latest nightly, and booted it up, I noticed that the WIFI says "Turning on" but doesn't ever turn on. It's greyed out in settings as well. I tried a few different nightly's thinking it was a defective file or bad install. Still no fix.
So then I went http://www.grantbarker.com/samsung-galaxy-note-4.html to try different roms, and I get the exact same issue.
Now I'm thinking that there is something I'm missing that the original ROM had. And for some reason the backup I made from it is missing, so I can't go back to it either. Is there a way to fix the wifi? It kind of sucks without it. Thanks for any advice that could help.
Were you on Marshmallow or Lollipop stock? Sounds like you have the wrong bootloader and that may be the reason. You would either have to flash the recommended stock tar or bootloader or bootloader and baseband.
I don't keep up with CM but the thing to check for is recommended bootloader in OP or search the thread. You may find it necessary to flash OK1 or OG5 bootloader. Dunno, maybe check for the baseband too for CM.
There's a bootloader and baseband thread in the development forum for Sprint Note 4. You should find what you need to flash in Odin AP mode. The ones labeled firmware are bootloaders.

You could probably try reverting to the factory settings and checking if the WiFi works? And then, you could change it to the current ROM again. This might help you resolve the WiFi issue.
