Hey guys.
I installed the blackhawk 1.8 kernel because I had problems with the Kernel Panic Upload Mode. I wiped cache and dalvik cache.
Nearky everything works so far, but when I try to change the USB mode from "installation" to "MTP" my Tab freezes.. Same thing when trying to disable USB debugging.
Any recommendations?

Hey guys, I feel like I have ran out of options on this problem so I figured I would post and see what you guys think. I am currently running Myn's RLS 2 and ever since I flashed the first version I have not been able to get past running the HTC Stock Kernel. If I flash any other Kernel my phone runs for a bit and then will freeze up and randomly reboot. Even during reboots sometimes it will reboot again. Do I need to be running SetCpu at all to help with this, or is it another problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
Depends on which kernel you want to run ... some play better with certain roms. I notice that you mention Netarchy's kernel in your signature ... have you tried his universal 4.1.9? Anyway ... whenever I install a different kernel, here's the procedure I use ...
Boot into recovery (I use RA) ... wipe cache and dalvik cache twice each ... flash the kernel ... wipe cache and dalvik again ... reboot.
since im new to xda i can not post on the main thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2442977&page=12
so i had to create this one as a question, cause i have a problem installing this rom, i downloaded both the kernel and the rom from the main thread, i first flashed to stock rom with odin, then i followed every step to install the kernel and after the rom, but im stuck in boot loop and im kinda angry cause it seems like im the only one with that problem.
i tried to install the rom using white's 1.33 kernel instead of percy's kernel ( the one provided in the main thread) and then flashing the rom, and it kinda worked, because i didnt go in to boot loop, but neither wifi or bluetooth werent working.
pls help me!!! i really want to try this rom!
1.first flash stock ddlk2
2.download the rom and flash it after :
(i) formatting system,data and cache
(ii) mounting all partitions
When done flashing, wipe data and reboot

Try this method
#1-Flash stock rom using odin
#2-Go to cwm
#3-Mount all partitions
#4-Install CyanogenMod#2 kernel
#5-Back and go to Advance then REBOOT RECOVERY
#6-You are on cwm now and the fonts are small
#7-Go to mounts and Format system, data, cache
#8-Dont press back -Mount all partitions
#9-Install zip from sd card-choose zip then choose The Rom
#10-When it is done flashing -Wipe Data - tHEN REBOOT
Do this.
1. Go to cwm recovery
2. Clear data and wipe cache
3. Go to advance :- wipe dalvik cache and battery states.
4. Go to mount & storage :- format system, data & cache.. dont format sd.
5. Then mount everything expect sd-ext.
6. Flash kernel.
7. Go to advance reboot recovery.
8. Again wipe data & cache.
9. go to advance and again wipe dalvik cache & battery states.
10. Mount everything expect sd-ext
This time you dont need to format system, data, or cache in mount.
11. Finally flash rom and reboot.
Hope it work.

Hey Guys,
I'm currently using the latest Ditto Note 3 Rom (v 3.2) Link to the Thread. Since my phone is freezing/rebooting very randomly I searched a little bit and it seems that I have an insane Chip
I searched for some Kernels with an SDS-Fix and only found the Perseus Kernel, but it won't work with the Ditto Note 3 ROM (Phone isn't booting) so I thought maybe I ask you guys if you have any experience with it
PS:
I tried the Dummy File Generator, but it always goes until 97% ( 9,20GB) and then the freezing won't stop (freezing keeps occuring every 2 seconds after it unfreezed).

Well at first: Don't be too anxious about the insane chip, I've never read about SDS while using a custom rom or need to run a certain kernel to fix it. Me too, have that chip and have experienced freezing and reboots (like many others without that chip) but it was always a software problem like an unclean installation of the rom. Just exclude any other reason for these issues first, the very last thing can be SDS but I have doubts.
Besides: Samsung told something about a fix while updating from 4.1.1 or so.
Mhh I guess you were right. I really don't know what I did wrong, because I did everything i did now for the last installation, but when i re-installed everything i didn't encountered any more freezes (tested with Dummy File Generator( 4x 8.62 GB).
For future Reference, the Steps I did installing Ditto Note 3 (v 3.2)
1) Flash PhilZ Touch 5.15.0.tar.md5 (was stated as the most stable Version for Ditto Note 3) Link
2) Wipe Data/Factory reset (Clean for Install a New ROM)
3) Wipe Chache Partition
4) format /cache
5) format /system
6) format /data
7) format /preload
8) format /sdcard
9) format /data and /data/media (/sdcard)
10) Wipe Dalvik Cache
11) Installed Ditto Note 3 (v3.2) with the "Wipe Data Factory Reset" Option and MK9 Modem (N7100XXUEMJ9)
12) flashed "KNOX free" MJ5 Bootloader Link
Thx for your help I will report back if the freezes come back ^_^
Instead of all that wiping and formating, if you don't mind reinstalling apps and data, there is a simple way to get rid of all things that might disturb running a new custom rom called superwipe or megawipe tool:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33926209&postcount=1
Just after flashing Philz, run that zip.file (install zip from SD in Philz) and you are ready to install a new rom and to be secure, wipe cache and dalvik befor rebooting, if you have the option to do so, after installation of rom.

As I Don't see how that would help... I said I wiped dalvik cache and data(GAPPS), and cache.. That being said when I rebooted my system an error message saying com.androidsystemui cannot process or something like that... and at the moment my phone wouldn't connect via usb(Common S4 problem) I fixed this somehow I went out and bought a Motorola charger (A samsung one wouldn't work, and still doesn't) it finally connected so then I downloaded "Imperium ROM v10.0 FINAL, Bloatware v6.1, USPM Imperium v2.1" and copied such onto my phone and installed them like any other ROM
Recovery can cause problems. I agree with the suggestion to switch recoveries of you don't already have it working. I would also suggest doing a full wipe prior to installing the ROM in recovery. Phil's Touch works well on the S4.
When i restart or turn off phone, i have to wait sometimes like 15-20 min until phone turn on. What could be a problem?
I though the problem is rom but i tried many others and same issue.
