IR port adress - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Is there any way to manually control the GT-P5210 its IR port?
And with "adress" I mean like 0x378 on a PC for LPT port...
There are a lot of IR apps, like IR Universal Remote, but I can't find their source codes anywhere...
I would like to have an app which can control the inbuild IR blaster directly, without any PCBs, with a friendly interface like a tone generator.
Or is there a simple path to the directory of that module, so I can trigger it by such app or something?

How to connect mini bluetooh keyboard to Desire Froyo

This is for those who are having problems connecting Desire with a Bluetooth Keyboard, in my case a Chinese mini Bluetooth keyboard (model PA-BK03- $ 27.00).
Things you need:
1) Rooted Desire (in my case OpenDesire 1.3b)
2) 3 files (hidd, hcitool and hciconfig) from code google
3) Recovery console (unrevoked for example)
4) And a Bluetooth keyboard…
The basic principle is to copy these 3 files to /system/xbin and set the permissions to 755, and than, after you enable Bluetooth on the phone and on the device, run the follow command:
#hcitool scan
Scanning ...
DC:2C:26:B3:C6:46 Bluetooth Mini Keyboard
Than
# hidd --connect DC:2C:26:B3:C6:46 (use your own MAC Address)
After it, you mini keyboard will stop blinking the blue led….TADA….is done!
I just cook the blu_sign.zip that contains the 3 files…you can use your recovery console apply it. And I recommend to use gscript lite to write the “hidd --connect” command and shortcut it in your home screen.
All the credits goes to…. Erin at i-miss-erin blogspot
And please I’m not a developer just curious and I hope that some noble developer make an fancy apk better than this.
Brasil na final da copa…
hi may I know where you bought this keyboard? ebay?

Would it be possible to pair a BT mouse this way, too?
Hi that's very interesting, will this method help with connecting other bluetooth devices? ps3 controller perhaps... or the wii one which apparently wont work with htc sense..
hup Holland hup
The ps3 controller isn't a hid device, but afaik a wii nunchuck is.
They did get ps3 controllers working on PC though , so it might be possible.
That keyboard looks nice btw. If it had one of them weird nipple things that old laptops used as a mouse I'd deffinately invest in one.
S60mike, I just connect my mighty mouse from apple and guess what...its working. Amazing for some games

When i try to pair my apple magic mouse it shows:
Can't create HID control channel: Connection refused
Where can/must I enter 0000 as pairing-code? Isn't this required? Now I try my Apple BT Keyboard
When I enter hidd command android popup to enter mighty mouse code. Try first at android bluetooth setting.

According to the keyboard on dealextreme, it supports android apparently.... I would have said it was out of the box support
Tried a couple times with my foldable keyboard from Palm,, it keeps telling me that "stderr: Device is not available: No such device"

Got a Nexus One here.
There is a major internal difference between the two and three battery keyboards, with many saying the three battery keyboard works better.
Well that's good news for me as I have the 3 battery! But not had any luck yet. Tried on a rooted rom but got device not found on hciconfig. So running stock again for now.
Does anyone know if Froyo will make it any easier and is it impossible to run hidd un-rooted?

[Q]Print wifi only with wifi samsung printer ?? :(

hi all !
I address especially developer recognized .. but other readers too !
I'm surprised wifi printing, our N7100 only possible with a wifi printer samsung!?? it is not nice!
And I am surprised that a developer here have not watched this problem: just allow all of the printer, and not only lock for Samsung !
please ! go ! the developer recognized ! a small trick to print on all printers wifi (directly into your custom rom)?
In the meantime, I use print share .. but it would be better in standard, right?
sorry for my bad english ... lol
yeah that really indeed suck i have an HP printer and im using their app its not bad..but not good either

get the app PrinterShare
printerShare works great!
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
Yup PrinterShare is good. I've used it with a Epson 435W and a PX700W
yes, I use printshare too, but I do not understand why the developer does not remove this lock in their custom rom ??
I think everyone is in mobileprint.apk
ago in cts_files compatible printers:
CLP-3xx_Series
CLX-216x_Series
ML-191x_252x_Series
ML-331x_Series
ML-1630W_Series
ML-1660_Series
ML-1865W_Series
ML-2160_Series
ML-2950_Series
SCX-4650_4x21S_Series
and even more: mobileprint_model_list.xml
Perhaps, we just add the missing printers??
Or remove, or modify the permissions in AndroidManifest.xml ??
Or delete the directory: assets in mobileprint.apk??
Hello developers !!
Any solutions to this little problem of lock ?
edit: oops! sorry for my double post !! :fingers-crossed:

HELP Remote app

Hello guys
I bought a Tab Pro 8.4 T325 yesterday and I am very happy with it generally apart from it's minor software glitches, but I have a question. Where can I find the Smart Remote app ? Isn't it installed by factory ? Do I have to download it from somewhere ? If so, which is the best one out there ?
Thanks

If you use "Titanium Backup", you can save your settings, without the need to create a Google+ account and save them online, as the developer wants you to do.
The one that comes pre-installed is Peel Smart Remote. It is available in the Play Store. I don't know if it's the best, but my TV recognizes its code so I'm using it. I lost my remote a while back and haven't been able to find any remote that will run my TV so I'm thrilled to be able to use my tablet as a remote.

Nfc mifare

I have an NFC mifare 4k card and i dont have all keys, i was wondering if it's possible to brute force or if there is some other way of getting the keys.
A key: 12 digits
