Hey, guys!
Is there a way to check my official baseband version (the one I bought the phone with) after I updated it through Odin. The current is XXUBMI1 but I remember that the original was different.

Hi, Guys. I bought a Korean Version GNex last week and upgraded to 4.1.1. But I found WIFI signal become very bad and the battery discharge quickly after that.
So, I want to flash back to a lower version. Any one can help to find an OFFICIAL FLASHABLE ROM of Korea Version GNex M420s?
Many thanks!
By the way, I've flashed the newest radio and bootloader of JRO03C. Phone was unlocked and unrooted.
Hi,
I'm currenty using CyanogenMod 10, probably switching to CM 10.1 when SakuraDroid RC1 releases.
My current baseband version is XXMF1, I see that XXMG2 is the most recent one.
Is it good practice to always update to the most recent baseband? Or is it ROM-specific what the best baseband version is, and should I ask this question on the thread of the ROM I'm using?
How do I go about only updating the baseband version without flashing over my CM firmware?
Thanks
Yes, it's good to upgrade to the new baseband if there are changes in changelog - but there no way to upgrade it without flashing. Just go ahead and install new firmware, and next CM.

I dont think official lollipop is /will be available for any of the galaxy s4 mini models. I would advise you to go to sammobile.com and look for the latest firmware for your device(Region specific) and download it. It will be the latest one and it will also serve as a backup official firmware. There after you can root your device(or do any other experiments for that matter), if something goes wrong there is a backup to fall back on.
I have recently updated to a 4.4.2 firmware from BTU region with baseband I9195XXUCOD3. I now want to install a firmware from ROM region but the latest baseband available with firmwares for this region is I9195XXUCNK1.
So when I flash the ROM firmware, the baseband does not get downgraded and this breaks the Wi-Fi. I guess the slightly older firmware cannot use the latest baseband version.
So is there any way to downgrade the baseband?
Thanks
Turns out that the good old method of flashing the Brazilian (ZTO region) 4.2.2 firmware I9195UBUBNE2 works even to downgrade this baseband!
So I successfully downgraded to 4.2.2 and then flashed the ROM region firmware which now works like a charm.
Hi all
I'm currently on:
Android Version 5.0.2
ViperOneM8 4.6.1
Kernel Version 3.4.0 ElementalX-m8-4.05-Sense
Baseband Version 1.25.214500021.06G_20.68.4196t.01_f
Build Number 1.40.401.8 CL549783 Release-keys
TWRP Version 2.8.7.0
I'm in the UK and i know that the device is unlocked to all networks so my question is:
(How can i get my device back to complete factory standard with the latest android version available and also unlocked)
PS: Its been so long since I've flashed a custom rom and kernel that unfortunately I've gone to the complete noob cave
If anyone can also point me to the exact files that i require it would be a great help too, And many many thanks in advance.
