Hi Everyone,
Hope all is well. Let me cut to the chase. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (GT-I9195).
Whenever I turn on Wi-Fi to connect to my router at home or at work (or any router for that matter), what happens is that it connects for a few seconds. After that, it disconnects again and then re-connects. It will do this some two or three times before I get a solid connection.
What can I do in order to remedy this issue?
I am currently running Android 4.2.2
Baseband version: I9195XXUAMH2

Starting from a few days, I can't connect to WIFI. It detects the wifi and connect it for a second, but right after every connection, it's disconnected and switched to 4G. it worked fine before. Anyone has the similar problem?
Thanks for your help in advance.
Hi there,
Happy Christmas all. I hope Santa brought you all the latest and greatest gadgets!
That said, I am hoping someone can help me with diagnosing a problem with my Galaxy Nexus Wi-Fi.
I have 2 Wireless Access Points in my house. Downstairs I have the Router, and upstairs I have a WAP connected to the Router via ethernet. When I am downstairs, my phone connects to the router's wifi fine, and there is no problem. However, upstairs it connects to the WAP (which has full signal), then seconds later drops that and shows it's connected to the router with 1 bar of signal, then it drops both, and it continues this loop until I turn wi-fi off.
Both are configured with the same name & WPA password, and it used to work fine, but I don't really know how to even start figuring out what it's doing. I has Wifi Jumper installed so that it would auto switch to the stronger connection when I went upstairs, but have uninstalled that now in case it was the cause.
My phone is a stock Galaxy Nexus running 4.2.1

Kernel version

I also have a problem whereby my phone thinks it is always charging, even when not plugged in and turned off. so I may do a hard reset to try to fix this, but am hoping to avoid it if I can.
Any advice on what may be the cause?
Hello. I am experiencing the following issue with my Samsung Galaxy S3 - when I connect to my home router, firstly everything works fine. After 5-10 minutes the phone stops data transfer, I mean I am connected to the router, it does not disconnect, just no data transfer. When I reconnect to the router, it works fine again, but not for a long. I am with original 4.1.1 JellyBean. Can it be from the router's firmware? Any suggestions?

Hello, I've a problem with my Galaxy Tab S 8.4 Wifi.
Every now and then (usually 1h) my wifi disconnects from the wifi network and reconnects after about 30 seconds. I had the very same problem with my Nexus 7 2013 and I solved that problem by setting the frequency to 2.4 GHz only.
I tried to do the same with the Samsung tablet but the option is not present under Wi-Fi> advanced.
There's a way to do the same with the samsung tablet?
I'm on KitKat.. Lollipop will bring back that option?
Note:
- the tablet is NOT rooted
- I've no power on the router because I live in university's campus accommodations
- I saw in another post that this app might help: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brilliapps.wifiandmorefixer&hl=en I would like to not use an app that doesn't explain how it does that kind of things (I use my tablet for work and I've some private data on it)
