Hi Everyone,
I am interested in overclocking my Galaxy Tab 3 (7") SM-T210. Currently I have installed a Custom Recovery, and the Rocket Tab ROM, which has given me ROOT access, and allowed me to set the CPU parameters through my preferred app, SetCPU. However I would like to overclock the tablet, and I am wondering if there are any overclocked kernels / ROMs available, or on the horizon?
Any advice here will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Davo

Hey Guys,
I am having trouble figuring out if it is possible to root my Tab 3 7.0 and install CyanogenMod.
I am familiar with rooting/installing rooms as I have my S3 rooted but I merely followed a well put together by some smart ass dude .... hehe
I cant seem to find any easy step by step guides here. If there are any can someone post them or give me some information on how to get this done. Thanks.
Tab Info:
Model Number: SM-T210R (Canadian)
Android Version: 4.1.2
Let me know if anyone could help.
Cheers
I used the Kingo Root App for my SM-T217S Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and it worked to perfection. I don't see why it wouldn't work for yours as well. It is really simple to do as well, only takes about five minutes. Hope this helps.

@VancouverGreek
So you have rooted your S3, so I think you have expierence with Odin how to root and flash ROMs.
At the moment we have no CM ROMs, these are still under develepment.
Take a look to general threats , here you will find the first thread Videos, Guide for Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 by Tomsgt with all links.
Also you find a lot of threats for prerootet Stock Roms ore modifyed Stocktroms with deleted bloatware apps, so your Tab runs smooth without lags and stable, also I prefers to install the blackhawk kernel, with kernel is the Kernel panic mode fixed.
here are the links to tomsgt: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2459817

I hope this post are helpful
Hi all!
I recently got into the awesome world on Android rooting, and have been experimenting with my device a lot! I have flashed Android 5.0.1 Lollipop on my HTC One m7 (verizon), and now would like to overclock it. I know that I will have to flash a custom kernel to be able to do this. I have tried ElementalX (13.3 [for android 4.4], which HAS installed properly, and functioned correctly, and installed all of it's features, but after installing it, I am not able to open Tasker, SetCPU, and other apps. These apps are VERY important to me, so I am not willing to give these up for CPU overclocking. I am aware that there are versions of ElementalX for Android version 5, but these are for other carriers and thus will not work. If you know any kernels that will support overclocking for my device, would greatly appreciate it if you were to tell me!
Thanks!
I'm pretty new to all of this and still a bit tentative. I have searched quite a bit and learned a lot but I still generally feel overwhelmed when I try to read threads specific to certain ROMS.
I recently got a Tab 3.7 (SM-T210R) and have managed to root it and install PhilzTouch.
I also installed RocketTab Lite which was good but I realise what I want is all the Samsung stuff gone, so it feels more like a simple android device.
So, I'm trying to figure out what ROM would suit me best.
Also, it is only 8GB and even with almost no apps (or media) it seems to be almost a third full. So far I haven't got Link2SD to work. Will another ROM allow me to move apps to the SD like I could in my phone?
Thanks for any advice anyone can give.

Thanks. Can you flash a Kit Kat ROM on a tab that has jellybean, or do you have to upgrade first?
Also, that says it is for a Tab 3.10, would it work with the Tab 3.7?

CAGrom is made only for the Tab 3 10. You can find roms for the 7 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-3/development-7
I don't know anything about the roms for that device. though, XDA generally prohibits suggestions as it is all about experiencing and experimenting finding the right fit that you want. I suggest looking at the roms at the link above and see if any might interest you there. good luck.
I've been around the block...it seems my last runs have all included devices that required safestrap (kill me). I'm wondering what the recommended method for root and recovery is.
So far all 8 verify seen is the CF autoroot port and the unified toolkit. I've had bad experiences in the past with UTK s. Can anyone tell me if it will root and offer to install recovery? And will it be successfull?
Just as well...8 or 10 models sharing a xda section? Also new...I've been looking for a few hours and I can't seem to find the idiosyncrasies. Can someone point me in the right direction? I.E. Do all the devices shares roms? Do all non wifis share roms? What's the best stock-based rom for the 10.5 wifi only 16gb device right now and what's the best non stock based rom In your opinion.
Sorry if I havennot found my way around yet. I consider myself a veteran and soon I'll be caught up to speed and participating and helping out.

HEllo everyone,
Please help me choose a ROM for my tab S. Model SM-T800. running Android 6.0.1 completely stock. I do not think it is rooted. and I do not have custom recovery installed as well.
Why do I want to go for custom ROM?
The stock system is still running very stable but there is a lot samsung apps that runs and take up a lot space.
I want microSD enabled that allows me to install app on it.
Even though the tab is running very stable but I feel it is slowing down.
I dont play games.
I would appreciate if someone guides me in right direction.
Thank you.
