I also have the 7.7 and the screen is amazing. I doubt you'll be disappointed with the Note8 though. Sure, it's not SAMOLED but it's excellent IMHO. No issues whatsoever.

Hi, after reading this:

will it be possible on our Note 2 too?

I, personally, would love it but it's highly unlikely (read the article).
highly unlikely at the moment given that the only note 2 available at the moment is 16gb (10.3gb usable) when windows 8 RT takes up 18gb alone as an install.
Not possible because no phone is like The HD2
Ps..wp8 is Different than Windows RT

Hello, I own Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note 8.0, but I'm considering getting Note 2 instead of those two I got. Just wondering what is the screen difference between those devices? Some websites appear differently on S2 and Note 8 using mobile agent on both browsers. Even wh3n they are the same there is a lot more stuff on Note 8's screen.
My question is what is Note 2 closer to: S2 or Note 8? Is it huge phone or small tablet? Of course considering what's appearing on screen and hum much is it.

Note 2 is close to a tablet but still a phone. So for me it is at the edge. However, you can not compare it with a S2 it is much bigger and I think it is a great alternative to these 2 devices. Because the S2 is too small as a phone and a 8" is too small as a tablet for me as well. Tablet should be at least 9,7"
Does anyone know if Samsung is looking to update the note 8? I know the tab pros just came out but I haven't seen any mention of a note refresh. The tab pro 8.4 looks nice but I just got the note 3 and I love the s-pen so if I was getting a tab, I would want that functionality and the 10.1 is just too big for me.
I don't know.. it seems to me that Samsung has pushed the Tab 8.0 to the point of overshadowing the Note 8.0 in the market. Plus that the Note 8.0 was overly priced over the two.
Because 9.0 is what peeps seem to be happy with for mid sized tablets. Samsung may just drop the Note 8.0 and live with 10.1 design and carry over 8.0 to just Tabs.
Oh well, between the 8 & 10.1/14, the 8 is my most used.
Via my Note 3
I need a advice, I have a galaxy note 3 and was inclining to purchase a Nexus 7, do you think that is silly? the size is very similar? the gain of screen size is too small? if you have pictures to compare pls post it. Someone have both?

I use the Samsung Note 3 and the N7 2013 LTE. The N7's (7") screen is substantially larger than the Note 3 screen (5.7" IIRC). They are devices for different purposes. But you need to decide which one you really need. Do you need a phone or a tablet or a combination of both? The answers are Note 3, Nexus 7 and Note 3.
Sorry I cannot post pics to indicate relative screen size as I am travelling and don't have the Note 3 with me. Currently using my handy 'little' Nexus 5 phone for a few weeks.
Hey guys, I don't know what to choose "Samsung Tab S 10.5 - 16gb" Or " Samsung Tab Pro 12.2 - 64gb" they're the same price in my country. Both are 4g. I don't know why the tab pro 12.2 got this discount. I'm confused what to choose, the extra 48 giga and more screen estate over the super amoled screen (i don't care about the fingerprint). What do you guys think, any recommendations? Thanks.
The Pro 12.2
Yes go for the pro 12.2 also make it as your daily driver
I'm on the same boat. Tab S 10 vs Note Pro 12.2
The price difference is pretty small here, so it doesn't matter much.
I don't care for S-pen. I had a Note 2 and I guess I used the S-pen 3 times during the 2 years I owned it.
Tab S 10 has better Super AMOLED screen, but Note Pro 12.2 has BIGGER screen.
Tab s is better in every way. The 12.2 is a heavy brick
Another vote for the tab s. I had both and wouldn't trade this beautiful screen for nothing. It's all up to preference though
Depends on if you want ROMs or not, the Tab S barely has any ROMs for it.
