Hi,
a friend of mine replaced the screen of his Ace 2 because it had a crack. After that, the phone didn't boot up anymore (stuck at the "Galaxy Ace 2" screen). I flashed a 3 part firmware via odin, now the phone starts but the touchscreen doesn't work. I tried flashing various other FWs but still no change and I also checked the display again.
Now I don't know if the display is defect or something went wrong while flashing.
Can someone tell me what to do now?
Thanks a lot
Thomas

Hello Everybody,
I've been lurking around xda-forums for quite sometime and thought I will register now.
So here is the story:
I broke my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 when it fell down from PC table while it was charging I went to a local repair shop and got the screen replaced. But since then, the phone does not come out of safe mode. I tried so many things advised all over the internet but was not successful. Tried pressing those 3 buttons while rebooting, tried moving it to download mode and then rebooting, tried factory reset and even flashed the OS once.
I read somewhere that issue can occur if touch key strip is not placed properly, got my local shop guy to re-do it and no use. He got 4 other screens and all screens give the same result - bloody safe mode
What do you guys suggest? Is there a way one can remove that safe mode functionality built into Android? Or, any custom ROM which will have pre-installed apps? I dont care if it says Safe Mode at the bottom, just need to run few essential apps.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

try rooted stock rom or any good custom rom like of mr balliboxer or go to customer care
good luck :good::good:
I was able to get the phone out of Safe Mode . My local shop guy did not give up and managed to get it out of safe mode. The problem was - faulty screen. He kept testing some screens and finally one was perfect.
Since there is no warranty on the phone now, it's time for some real fun.

Hello!
I have a problem with blue screen. I don't know the past of this phone, I got it in this condition.
Everything you can see in attachements.
Thx for helping.
I used this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2049567) to revive this phone. I wrote rom (rom (GBX0*+3.4.26 Full). Now phone is turning on, but touchpad don't work.
My question is: If this rom is correct for my Rhod100? This fault can be done with wrong flash?
EDIT - Solved! If you have this same issue, flashing the stock ROM will likely fix the problem. The working ROM I used can be downloaded Here : www( . )androidfilehost( . )com/?fid=24459283995306913 (remove parenthesis)

REMEMBER TO ONLY USE IF YOU ARE ON 6.0.1 AND HAVE THE SPRINT SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 MODEL SM-G920P DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID.
Hello, I was following a guide to root the S6, and as a part of the guide you flashed the "Space-X" kernel onto the phone with ODIN. Well, the kernel was meant for the model SM-G920F and not the SM-G920P. I realized my mistake as soon as I booted the phone and suddenly I have no touch screen or cell service.
Reading up on it, I discovered that flashing incorrect kernels and ending up with a non-functioning touch screen is likely an indicator that the digitizer itself was fried, however I flashed TWRP and discovered that my touch screen indeed works! So I can use the touch screen functionality in the TWRP menus, but when booting the phone to its normal screen I do not have the touch screen functionality. I can still use the phone through a mouse OTG cable, and besides the lack of service or touch screen, it is completely normal (even rooted).
I have tried flashing stock firmware onto the device through ODIN however I receive an error every time I attempt to do so. I have tried different USB ports, re-installing drivers, restarting the PC, you name it.
Currently I am not using the phone, however in its current state I have the (incorrect) Space-X kernel and TWRP Version 3.0.0-1
Would replacing the kernel with one meant specifically for the G920P likely fix my issue? How would I go about doing that? What else would you recommend I try? Ever since I discovered that the touch screen may just be non-calibrated instead of totally fried, I've had a burning hope inside that I can salvage this phone. This time, however, I'd like to get some more experienced opinions.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Yep I tried this many times, but I tried it again today by using a different ROM and different ODIN with success!
Cell service and touch screen are back to normal. Thanks for the reply
I dropped it in the water briefly about 6 months ago (I had to get a new phone temporarily but the Note 5 sucks and if I can get my 4 working again...). So it will boot to the Samsung splash screen then reboot over and over. I can get it to boot into Odin Mode, downloading, don't turn off target!!!! But it would stay like this as long as it had power. It no longer has a sim card in it.
Anyways, its an ATT N910A. If I could download some kind of image (id prefer stock, and possibly legit via ATT website???). Maybe I could reflash with stock image on an SD card versus odin running on a PC?
So i was able to do this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-att/general/marshmellow-att-server-link-installation-t3407308
I did the Odin files, ap only not the csc cp or bl.
ODIN 3
CSC_ATT_N910AATT2DOI2
CP_N910AUCU2DOI2
BL_N910AUCU2DOI2
AP_N910AUCU2DOI2
I get the all threads complete succeed 1 no fail. but on reboot, im still stuck in reboot loop (samsung galaxy note 4 splash screen and then vibrate twice, black screen and galaxy note 4)... Any suggestions?
Seems odd to have a hardware failure but still able to boot into recovery modes (both the up and down volume button options). But its starting to look like a hardware failure (of course I did drop it in water, and turned it on to fast which is such a dumb move on my part!). So what hardware to replace? Motherboard? Girlfriend has a note 4 as well. I suppose I could try her battery... But beyond that Im stuck at this point.

excuse me
can you help me with my problem?
Im so far from an expert on mobile tech hardware/software but ill try.
Hello everyone, hope someone would be able to help me recover this phone
The phone gets stuck at the logo screen, left it like that for 7 hours but no change
Recovery mode gives a black screen, not sure if it does access it but display nothing or doesn't access it at all
I have tried using Kies but every time I type the model as per the sticker under the battery, Kies replies with "Please check model number"
I can go into Download mode, Odin detects the phone as COM 3, but doesn't go beyond the initialization step
Some people actually suggested smacking the phone on the power button side, I did it as I was desperate but nothing changed
As the list above states, I am out of ideas and not sure if I can get this phone to work again.
Just to let everyone know, it had a stock firmware, no root and no custom recovery.

according to a repair shop, it is more of a hardware issue and some parts would need changing but cost was almost the price of the phone if i were to sell it while working so it wasnt worth it
how was your experience with the battery of the S4 Mini Duos. For how long does ir last ?? and how much time does was it taking ??
Thanks,,
