i have download N.O.V.A 3 today but it is not work
i have try in root explorer to change device model from gt-i9082 to gt-i9100 and also not work
the game tell me the game is not compitable to this device
what can i do now?

You don't need and probably shouldn't change your model number for anything, let alone games
If the game tells you it's not compatible it's because it can't find some drivers or hardware specs that it needs, so changing your model number will not do anything for it unless you specifically know the game is checking that only.
That being said, as far as I know NOVA3 is compatible with i9082, I'll download it tonight to confirm it, which firmware/ROM are you on?

Its game for Tegra devices , thats why you can't download it , just political BS. Game itself works perfectly fine on sgs2. Take apk from your asus and install the game.
And chainfire3d offcourse.

The S2 is not a Tegra handset. I'm curious what people do here on XDA if they don't at the very least have root access..

The latest update V1.2411 doesn't display the options correctly so it very difficult to know what to press to start a new game or quit unless you've played it before

Not on my SGS II, it states that it needs a Nvidia GPU, that wasn't detected on the system, so doesn't run without chainfire and the Nvidia plugin

You have pirated version that is patched to play on other graphic chips.
All tegra games check if you have tegra device before they even start .
Just tried without chainfire , looks like pinball hd doesn't check ,but with chainfire you can have up to 16x AntiAliasing on !
It starts with the message the device would be incompatible, when I try to download the game from Tegra Zone...
I´ve seen the chosen game running on a GS II with MIUI and Chainfire3D
I'd like to play it but i'm afraid to install chainfires 3d app incase i **** it up lol

Four million people on XDA. I would estimate the number of root-fluent people to be in the area of 400000 (10%)
Head on down to the Play Store and grab the copy of the smash iOS hit game!
-Sadly not compatible to our device. Can anyone do a workaround to make it compatible?

I've read it's incompatible with all ARM6 devices. If there's any truth to that, I don't know. Though there are a lot of complaints that it's not compatible for a lot of people. Huge disappointment!

aadaars and sanved knows how to convert armv7 games to armv6!!! Browse their site, they've converted games like dude perfect and many more! and they have some apps that incompatible for our device that works! Request it to them

I know know how.to convery armv6 to armv7 just download root explorer from market then in root explorer make mount r/w into r/o and go to system/build.prop edit build.prop with text editor and change armeabi.product.cpu to armeabi-v7a now reboot the mobile

Yes it's true.You can install Chainfire 3d but if rooting phone then lost warranty.I can't root.

Don't know if anyone's interested, but if you're really desperate to play Temple Run BlueStacks just released their beta version which can run Temple Run and thousands of other apps. BlueStacks is a windows program that allows you to run android apps in your pc.
Hey guys. My girlfriend just bought a galaxy y and I randomly want to ask whether temple run works on it? I know it wont show up in the market but does it work if we manually apk install it?

It's not officially available for devices with ARMv6 processors, only ARMv7. However, there is an APK you can download somewhere around here but it has a few bugs in it...

yup the one on the themes and apps sections does installs and even runs well
but has a lot of bugs like the graphics glitches wile collectiong coins and even the man dies suddenling wile running,so have to wait for dev to fix it till now you can enjoy it as it is

well,i've found trick to finish that problem
actually the trick is You Must Finish The Tutorial Session..
after the tutorial session,the game will run (a little) smoothly,even when coin appears..
i'll research that,and i'll post the link as soon as possible..

yeah,that's the biggest problem yet haven't any fix 'till now..
but i heard that the temple run's devs and maker are developing the version that support armv6 (our device)

In order to run it,install chainfire3d from market..install it and then the phone will reboot
And then install plug.ins...choose your plug.in,then reduce texture...enjoy

Guys im having trouble downloading sd files thru gameloft game.. The game can be installed but the problem is when i download the data it says 'your device is not compatible with this game please request a refund', i dont know what happened this was working before. I even tried installed the ones that is compatibility check off gameloft games but still i get the error message. Any idea guys? Tried different rom but still no luck

Yeah I've tried that.. For example i installed six guns in my device after that when i run the game it still gives me the same message so i uninstalled it and tried it again but still no luck.. I really wondered why??

Uhm, which rom you're using? I had used DiXperia 2, NXT 1.3 and Gin2JB and I never had any issues with gameloft games.

I would get the same problem aswell. Mid way through a race, the game would just close.. But I'm going to play it with the new .96 phone fw, See the game plays out

Try to use a different kernel, with some boost on graphic performance. Otherwise you can flash the newest JB .96 firmware. It has a nice performance. Also you can try some ram managers for gaming like gamebooster. :good:

i have the same problem my phone is lgl5 with 4.1.2 menu ok , but when i begin a race it crash and lag!!
i tried it a lot of time and sometimes it start and i can play !! little lag my phone with antutu is 4500! ):

For me its working, but lags are unacceptable. (UB, .211)
asphalt 8 crashes on my xolo play as well... it used to work when i first got the phone but ever since i changed my primary memory from internal to sd card, it crashes right after the gameloft logo... it still works when i change my primary memory back to internal but i have only 2.2gb internal available so i cant play any other game if i want to play asphalt... and asphalt isn't the only game with this problem... all gameloft games don't work which is really a frustrating issue... my phone is stock unrooted and i really need help...

now even high graphic is enabled after changing my device name to GT-I9505 and it works fine. Lags were appearing due to lack of ram, reflashing rom solved the problem(runs smooth as butter on med), but sadly there is no AA.

Weird, can you hit these cars?
I have Karbonn A9+ . its a cheap under 100 $ phone. I can play it on high graphic too after changing my device model to GT-I9505. Gets about 35-40 fps on low and 20-25 on high. Only problem is it doesnt load Tokyo map. neither on low nor on high . hope they give some update

Actually its not weird.Its having traffic coming from other side even on med graphic.Traffic cars dippers when coming towards them.If u hit them ur car wrecks

Mine crashed for the first time.. But didnt happen again.. Also just like others, High graphics disabled.. Any suggestions to make it work? I saw someone reporting in some ROM thread that they got High graphics to work in ICS..
