Update failed and the phone freezed - HTC One X

Hi,
I tryed to Update my phone with original rom trought the phone. First try and it tells me trath there is a error (Status 7). Then i found a way how to skip this error (with deleting of the assets from script file) and install it. And after that my fight with the phone starts. After the install the OS start reboot continuesly. Somehow i flash the boot.img and start Philz Touch 5 Recovery system. After that flash the ROM with Cyanogen. First i got the same Error (Status 7) and once again fix it. Then install it and the phone starts. But after 30 seconds is freeze and can't do anything, only restart. The HBOOT version is 0.95. I thin that maybe this error (Status 7) comes with any reason, and maybe this becomes from wrong ROM.
Please if someone could help! The phone is not mine and i didn't fix it should pay it . If you need any other info just send me a message.
Thank you in advance!

Your hboot is WAY too low....you need at least for all latest roms 1.3x ...lol how the hell and why are you still on 0.95

[Q] How to downgrade HBOOT- 6.01.1002 to HBOOT-1.01.0001?

Hi guys,
A few months ago I rooted my HTC WILDFIRE using the 'Revolutionary' method, I tried out a few custom ROMs,it was quite good but after a while I wanted to go back to my stock ROM, I looked up a few websites and there was this one website that showed me how to unroot my phone so that I could restore it to its original state. I did everything as told and got my stock ROM, but when i tried to connect to the internet using my phone's network the MOBILE NETWORK button would just say 'Turning on...' it'd never actually turn on and i couldn't access the internet. My free data allowance was getting wasted so I decided to root my phone once again using the 'Revolutionary' method so that i could access the internet using the custom ROM.The only problem is that my phone has a HBOOT version- 6.01.1002 and the 'Revolutionary' method requires a HBOOT version- 1.01.0001. So my request to you guys is to show me how to downgrade my HBOOT version from a 6.01.1002 to 1.01.0001 or help me find an alternative method of rooting my phone.
My details:
HTC WILDFIRE,
BUZZ PVT SHIP S-OFF
HBOOT-6.01.1002
MICROP-0622
TOUCH PANEL-ATMEL224_20aa
RADIO-3.35.20.10
Any help would be appreciated,
Thank you

You do not need to downgrade at all pal. Just install clockworkmod recovery and then flash a custom rom, or flash a root zip file. Easy
get the pc49img.zip version ( check the wildfire index in the dev section) of clockworkmod recovery and install via bootloader.

Hey, I am stuck like he WAS. I had Rempuzzle and it was really fast and smooth but I thought the stock Android would be faster and it was not! I need to root it again and I have the exact same things he had like the HBOOT! I need a .ZIP file though. Could you send me the correct one? Thanks!

Hi, so that is the stock recovery and not clockworkmod. When you have the clockworkmod recovery zip named pc49img.zip placed onto the root of your sd card you should boot up into hboot. Once in hboot the bootloader will scan the sd card. If it finds the update press up volume (if I remember correctly) to flash the recovery. If it does not find it make sure the file has not been named pc49img.zip.zip by viewing file extensions on windows (google it if you are unsure), or try a different sd card.
Once the update has been flashed remove the sd card and reboot to hboot. Then select recovery and you will have clockworkmod.
Edit: having had look about I cannot find a link to the file you need so I will check my backup hdd in the morning and see if I have a copy around somewhere.
First of thanks foe your reply. I have done the above steps but when I go to recovery mode it is always stuck on black screen with red mark in triangle. Is there any way to access recovery from there?
Moreover, (I was to forget) when I run the procedure you mentioned, that is installing the PC49IMG.zip, when bootloader starts updating it shows the status of completed steps with OK for everyone but bootloader where it is written bypassed. Could this be why recovery mode does not work?

This pc49img.zip has clockworkmod 5.0.2.0 inside. flash it via bootloader like the others pal. I suspect any you may have been flashing were just the stock recovery images. Also your hboot is a patched hboot to give s-off so its normal that it displays bypassed when flashing bootloaders. it was a defense put in place to stop htc rolling out an update to remove the s-off hboot made by revolutionary team.
so flash this via bootloader, take it off of your sd card and then boot into recovery.

Hi, sorry for the late reply, if you don't hit reply on my comments then I won't get a message to say you responded and I don't check this forum often.
I am pretty sure that play services are not supported on this phone or android version. This is because they didn't exist when this phone or these roms were made. If you need Gmail your going to have to log in using the web browser or try a third party app. You could try look at these Alternitive email apps but this phone is very old as is cyanogenmod 9. The odds are you will run into a lot of issues with apps no longer being supported, either due to the softwares age or the devices lack of a gpu.
Best of luck to you buddy. :good:

[Q] No wifi/radio aftter flashing.

Hi everyone,
Recently I've acquired a rooted HTC one x. It's hboot is 1.36. I wiped everything and flashed over a SlimBean RC7. installation was a success, however, wifi and radio isn't working. Initially i thought it was because i flashed the ROM wrongly. Again, i wiped and flashed another rom, IceCoolJelly and yet the radio and wifi isn't working. It can't even detect any wifi.I tried to flash the latest radios, yet to no avail.
How do i rectify my situation? is my Hboot too old as 1.39 is out? I've tried searching the forums but it's all about the hardware wifi fault. Mine is both wifi signal and radio signal not present.
Desperate to get my phone back up and running :/ do help guys.
Just checked, bluetooth isn't working too. Is my whole radio part just collapsed?

it doesn't depend when you flash boot.img but you should do fastboot flash boot boot.img and in recovery make full wipe again flash the rom and then the gapps...it SHOULD work...you need only to flash modules if you installed a custom kernel...
Try NCX Kernel and flash the modules, or make what @One-X-master say
im having this same problem as well no matter which rom i try . phone just stays stuck in airplane mode, i made sure i correctly flashed and wiped everything

Got it up and running thank you! So if I'd like to put a custom kernel in, I will need to fastboot the kernel image first and then flash the modules (execute zip in CWM?)

With s-off or special bootloader hack there would be an chance for installing kernels like with nexus phones or other phones which allows that but tegra 3 is really hard to s-off

[Q] [Bricked] Flashed kernel for wrong device

Was downloading ARHD but downloaded the wrong one for the One instead. I unknowingly flashed the kernel for the One and ended up bricking my device (fastboot commands don't work). Is there a way to unbrick it?
Sure you applied the Fastboot commands correctly ?
Does Fastboot devices give any return ?
Try to do the factory reset over fastboot..and reboot...

Put the Rom zip together with adb files and fastboot files where you open the command window for fastboot flash different things...then go into recovery go to advance or so or install zip and search there for via sideload...depends also on the recovery you are using...then in the command window type in adb sideload "romname.zip" ...it will take a while to transfer so wait a bit ...

One X wont work

Hello
I have tried to install a custom rom, viperx. This whit success. but wanted to go back to stock when i did not get all to work.
Followed the guide here to go back to stock Y13. The problem then was that the touch screen did not work when i needed simcard pin.
Now when i tried to go back i can not get any of my nandroid backups to work, not the one whit vipex or any of the older one.
When i flash the stock boot.img and restor nandroid backup its hust stuck on the ONE logo.
How can i fix this?
I have fastboot 1.72
and CWM recovery.
You need a nandroid backup with a mainversion for your cid which was installed with 1.72 hboot otherwise they won't work

U know where i can find this?
My CID is: HTC__Y13
You can find it in the thread where the nandroid backup collection is...if links are dead try to find one guy who has the same cid and has maybe the backup if not use Google and just type in HTC one x cid (your cid then) nandroid backup....somewhere you should find latest one
