i have 2 of galaxy note 2 ... and i have a big problems with him
on both whend i put on vibrate/mute mode it is only for calls , if i receive a message its ringing and this is verry annoying
i neet to set manualy from the sound setting to turn off the message sound off ...
for me its very frustrated because whend im am at one classs .... i put on silent and after this if i receive a message the phone is ringing even
the mail notifications ... and if i turn of manually i forgot to turn on after ... i set him on normal mode and thats all ....
please if someone have a solution .... from the samsung staff doesnt know what to do ...
and other problem its whend i write more than 3 sms in one in automaticly convert in mms format ... and make me angry again ....

I have the black and blue 4.1 flashed on my p3300. I have the problem that when the 'off' profile is activated, the phone still vibrates on incoming calls. How do i turn the vibrating off in this profile? Is there something i am missing?

ok i have kavana 6.1 and im having problems with my email, it works fine, but everytime i get a new email, normally you would get an alert saying that you got a new email (it would vibrate, or ring, or both) but mine doesnt do that, and i wanna know how i can fix this problem, or if this is how it comes.
for example, you get a sms message, if you have it in vibrate mode, it will vibrate when you get a message, or if you have it in loud, it will play a sound when you get a sms message,
well when it checks for an email, and it recieves one, in the tmobile rom it would vibrate in vibrate mode or ring in loud mode, but in kavana it doesnt alert me, it does niether, i have to physically be checking my phone every 5 minutes to see if i got a new email since my phone wont alert me. can anyone help, i would appreciat it.

same here, vibrate enable, but only vibrates on call, never on SMS
set to vibrate - goes off on SMS, email, calls, FB
I'm having the same issue since day 1... any pointers?

just installed Missed Call application from market and it fixed vibration problems for SMS at least...
Works fine here, I've not needed to install anything extra to make it work.
on sms application, has an option in settings for vibration. I guess that will work.
Anybody have any news on this?
My vibrating signal disappeared recently and whatever I change in the settings isn't helping.

as u all know that whenever we get a msg on the Arc, we just hear the ringtone but we dont see the screen activated unless we unlock it.. most of the times, it happens that I cant listen to the ringtone sound and due to that couldnt come to know that there is a msg arrived. So is there any app which will activate/light up the screen on sms arrival... ???
U have green light blinking when u have sms, if u wach your phone from side

Theres an app called '' flashlight notifier "
download 3rd party sms app. i use go sms pro. because i can modify almost everything.even the led notification light.
There is also handcent sms - free download from the market - very user friendly and can be set up to cause the screen to come on and to display the message.
It can also be configured to give different levels of notification according to what privacy you want.
Try either Go SMS or Handcent - both free and both very good.
Hi , I am confused ,I can configure my s4 mini to answer incoming calls by pressing the "home" button ,and I can configure the phone to answer via "answer" voice command , all of the screen buttons appear to function ok , and calls can be shut down via the red "phone disconnect" symbol on the screen ,but for some reason I cannot answer a call (the way I want to ) by touching the "green" connect symbol on the screen ,it wont respond to touching in any form apart from the onscreen tremor you see when you tap the screen it simply wont work .
The phone is rooted and I have disabled just about everything related to data transfer , wifi,and internet , as well as uninstalling , disabling or hidind all other apps . the phone is to be used for text and talk only ,for my other half ,who has learning difficulties , its the cheapest way for her to get unlimited text and talk .
any help would be apreciated , thanks . graham
