I need some help plz

Hi every one etc..
How can I enable USB from recovery plz some tall me because my phone without any room :crying::crying::crying:
I have clockworkmod recovery v 5.8.2.7
Some one explain to me by video or any think

go in recovery -> mount and storage ->mount USB storage

Go to HTC one x android development forum and read the sticky post about the latest cwm recovery, I think it'll fix your issue, sorry can't post link.

Whan I pressed mount USB storage this happened to me
E:unable to open ums lunfile (No such file or directory)

You can't, install version 5.8.4.0, and then you can.

download the latest recovery..
put it in the fastboot folder
restart your phone in fastboot mode..
open cmd.. change directory to fastboot folder..
and then type fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.4.0-endeavoru.img
and done.

restore stock rom from backuo fail

So lets get this straight i unlocked bootloader made a backup of the stock rom flashed jelly bam as first rom
and then i couldnt bare with its bugs so i switched to cyanogenmod 10.1 v4.2.2 20130411
its running fine but it seems it crashes adobe flash player on every browser so i tried to go back to stock rom
via backup and got stuck on the "htc one" logo not the "htc" what should i do now ?
should i flash the boot.img of stock sense 4+ 4.1.1 of any rom or is there any fix of that adobe flash player on cm to not crash every browser?

So all i need to do is flash the backup i made of the stock rom and then reboot in fastboot usb and flash the boot.img of the cm 10.1 via pc cmd ? Or i should somehow take the boot.img from the folder i made the backup ?
Cuz as i said i tried to flash the backup but it failed it got stuck in the logo..

well, take a copy of the backup on your computer and extract it, inside of it there should be the boot.img.
now go into fastboot and flash that boot.img file, then go into recovery and after a full wipe restore the backup and everything should boot up correctly

and where can i find the backup folder , i just pluged in so in which folder lies the backup ?

Yupp worked like charmm found it in the clockworkmod folder under backups and it had the first date when i rooted so just flashed it and it was ready to go thanks man keep it up youre the best :d

by some mistake i erased all the data on sd card and currently i have and blank HOX and installed android revolution HD rom (stock virsion 4.2.2 sence 5) and nothing comes except of htc logo...infinite bootloop

Well if you installed android revolution did you flash the corresponding boot.img?

Did you flash the new kernel when you flashed the rom?

I don't think it is hard bricked, you did nothing wrong, i think. Anyway, you could try to download the ROM (i think that you don't have it in the phone now) from pc and put it in phone in recovery, then try to flash again the rom. You can also try to download another sense 5 rom, like maximus (it works for me); in both cases, wipe all (except the sd) and re-flash the kernel. If it doesn't work, then go back to sense 4+ until someone finds out the problem. If i didn't understand well the problem, then sorry, but i hope i helped you.

Go to recovery, and from there mount usb storage. Put on back the desired ROM and start all over again.
To me this looks the easiest and the shortest way. Otherwise you keep on trying stuff, and perhaps non of them help. Just my 2 cents.

but i dont know how to do it .
can i do this by ruu method?

i want to do it with your way but i dont know how to mount usb in recovery mode

it is not needed to go back to stock rom, simply download to the pc a ROM with sense 4+ like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1836919 or something similar, then do as Braindamage1989 said: go in recovery, connect usb to the phone, mount usb and copy the rom from the pc to the phone. Then flash the ROM and the kernel, it should boot normaly. Don't be upset, i think it is a solvable problem, take it easy. the main problem is when i go to recovery and apply for mount usb - it says no such files or directories...in short i cant mount usb
do i need to update my recovery?
actually when this problem occured i changed many recoveries...so tell me what should i do????

Read this post http://androidforums.com/one-s-all-...ount-sd-card-no-rom-only-access-recovery.html . Maybe installing TWRP recovery, as said in the thread, could work.

But don't format as said in the thread, i think it's useless. Try a first attempt only installing TWRP.

I would flash philz touch over it since it supports touch and keeps back-ups you made with cwm

[Q] System not mounted on 4.3

Hello, guys, I have recently installed Hawkish 4.3 rom in wich you must re-root the phone after install. I had a little trouble rooting - su binaries couldnt install, but its done now, or it just says it is. The problem is, my system is not mounted and I cant use the multiwindow app manager or apps to delete system apps. Here's what Window app manager and SystemAppRemover says in the screenshot. Any help would be appreciated!

be careful with phil when reboot system...go back ..I forgot other options ...after click on reboot write another...be careful... go back...and system will rebooting....thats my fails...

I am now downloading Dr. Ketan rom and will tell you if the problem is solved.

Hmm, no, I can't find odin flashable. I tried 4.1.2 with Superuser root and it worked, then I went back to 4.3 and I lost system mount again. When I flash the zip file for the root the final in the log is "unmounting system" and something else... When I try to manually mount it, it says that my root may have been lost or it doesn't do anything, it goes back to unmounted. Can you tell me where can I get the odin flashable and if it's possible to do it via Odin mobile?

insert in google odin download...you see odin1.85 xda developers...click and voila zip file download...that version is ok for me...odin3 v1.85

It seems the last few updates to my OS haven't booted, but this was a "stable" version, so I thought it might, but it didn't. Do I need to update my recovery? If so, how do I do that?
Please bear my mind I am stupid and will require step by step instructions. Thanks in advance.

Here's a step by step instruction:
1st step: Unlock the boot loader at HTCDev.com
(Phone must be in fastboot mode; pres volume button down and power button)
2nd step: in the fastboot folder that you placed the unlock key (which HTC supplied) put the recovery that you want. Inside the fastboot folder, left shift and right click and select open command window from there and type in: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
3rd step: open the rom that you've downloaded and want to flash and you'll be able to see a item call boot.img. Extract that out and dump into the fastboot folder where your recovery is. And type in the command window: fastboot flash boot boot.img
4th step: copy the rom over to the phone through your recovery (and gapps also if you're using a AOSP rom) and do a full wipe from there and install the rom that you downloaded (after that install the gapps if needed)

I've already rooted my phone, I'm running a previous version of CM. However, I do not have access to the original computer I used. Will this be a problem?

Afraid of my data
Hi there, I think I've chosen a right topic. So, now I have CM 10.2 RC1 installed on my HOX. How can I update it to new stable version without losing data and installed apps? The update appears in update settings, but I had a bad experience with it when I was trying to update from 10.1.3 to 10.2 RC1. What you think?

The 10.2 is the stable version.
It installs for me, but my phone gets stuck on the spinny CM logo bit.

I had the same issue when i had installed the 10.2 RC1 from the settings. Then I install the ROM from recovery mode and had to re-install all the apps. If the same think appears with 10.2 update, I'm gonna wait.

I installed from the recovery, and the same thing happened again.

You can try making a nandroid backup first than after which you download the update and flash in recovery but remember to wipe cache and dalvik cache and if anything goes wrong, you can still restore back your backup. Or another alternative is that you could backup your apps (not data) than do a full wiper and install the lastest version of cm10

than type in again: fastboot clear cache

Dnt you need to flash the boot.img after every update that you do for CM? :-\

I'm not sure but there's no harm flash the boot.img for it each time rather than ending your phone up into bootloop and do everything again right?

As with the maximus hd roms it's always recommended to flash the boot.img after every Rom update so I guess it won't be any different here.. avoids a lot of issues in the longer run..

Got it! Just made backup of all apps by Titanium Backup then flashed the ROM and restored the backup. Easy and nicely! I don't know whether I had to flash the boot.img again or not, but it works!

Got it! Just made backup of all apps by Titanium Backup then flashed the ROM and restored the backup. Easy and nicely! I don't know whether I had to flash the boot.img again or not, but it works!
