does this works also for the L-01E version?
Yoo man, finaly. Using this roms since about 2 weeks and its awesome. It is an really alternative to CM(IMO).
Btw. some questions @nolinuxnoparty, are you building it(are you Nuke or Dho??). On vanir site there are two builds one from Nuke and one from DHO( hope i'm remember right their names), are they different? Which works better
The one im using is Nuke's.
Another CUSTOM ROM for the LGOG E975! Keep it coming friends! Thanks for this!
---------- Post added at 07:32 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:28 AM ----------
By the way, I am using Avatar ROM which is based on CM, it is compatible if I used Titanium Backup, back up all my user data, system data and apps then flash to this ROM, and restore them? Thanks!

No difference in Nuke's and DHO's nightlies
Is there a Working/Not Working list or whatever?
GoodWork!
when the stable(like build x or stable x.y)will realse?
Which variant(s) of the LGOG does this work on?
970
971/973
975/977
Etc

Nice work. I have a big issue though, my internet connection using WiFi is really slow. Downloading apps from Playstore, or watching videos on Youtube take forever. I never had that problem on stock.
I saw this happened on latest cm/aosp builds. this issue it present both on official cm10.2 and latest asylum build(sept29.)it was one of the reasons i got back to stock.
Thank you! Perfect rom for me
Great rom! Used untweaked CM 10.2 before. Very nice! :good:
Update: Looks very nice, many custom settings, really fast. But is it possible to change gamma values somehow for more intensiv colours?
Is the battery in this rom is good ?? compare to stock ? . I hear everyone say that cm10 battery is not good as the stock battery

Camera is very dark
This ROM works fast and smooth. Battery life seems good as well. Unfortunately the only drawback i noticed is that the camera is very dark and dim. Is there a solution to this? I am forced to revert to stock rom until this is solved. thanks!
I'm having trouble selecting if to use a stock or custom ROM... Any advice plz???

Best ROM Till date!
WOWW! I have been running this rom from the past 5days now and I'm really surprised
Seriously! This is the best rom till date!
I have it running on my XOOM MZ601 and would highly recommend it to all xoom users and please dont stop the development on this rom!
I LOVE ASSEFMOD V5 and I'm Eagerly waiting V6
I've been running this ROM for a few days now and I have to say it is quite snappy, I did do a dirty install because 1. I hadn't got most of my stuff backed up and 2. I really needed my Xoom and eos 170 was becoming a little slow tbh, its very smooth and so far I haven't found any bugs, 3g works fine so does Bluetooth, wireless tethering and usb tethering work as expected, I can't wait to see this ROM progress its very polished big thanks to the dev ur efforts haven't gone unnoticed

Guys, sorry for the long time without an update, i was studing so hard... Now i finished all the school tests, so i'll finish a new build today, now with version for Wingray!
I will make a 4.3 build too. Based on the Dreamcwli ROM...
As I sayed on the first post, give me some ideas of what you want to include on the rom...

This post is dedicated to the people who have helped me along the way and not ROM related.
@android88 - Your the guy who got me into this business. You've been a great help in terms of questions and you're the reason I am currently building ROM's. If it wasn't for you, this ROM or anything from me wouldn't exist. I would just be a regular flasher, no offence guys lol
@ayysir - I really can't understand how you dealt with my n00b questions for months. You've got some patience with people. Thanks for you AET which helped a ton in the beginning and also your scripts. You've really helped a ton and I'm really grateful for your advice and help.
@Cl3Kener - Do you need an introduction? Your Develop Now! guide is literally incredible for guys that are just starting out and helped me a ton. Thanks for your kernel which I used in this ROM and will continue to as long as I support hercules. You've been an inspiration to many and have helped a ton.
@ThdDude & @I Am The Frost, you've been incredible and helped out a lot. Your guys' advice is much appreciated.
Awesome. Thanks for the good work.

Booted on TWRP 2.5 its kinda laggy from time to time, also is there an option for when you press the home button it doesn't show all the screens? I looked around in the launcher settings but couldn't find anything. Good job on the ROM tho seems promising :good:
Running nice and smooth here, couple hiccups but I'm assuming that's just the ROM settling in.
Clean flash on TWRP 2.6.1.0
If you guys have any requests such as audio mods or such, leave them in the Feature Requests portion of this thread. I'll try try to get it in the next build
Why is the launcher spaced weirdly? Dumb question maybe?

Yeah its a little lag here and there but overall great ROM
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
no lag for me smooth as hell, but i found a bug where when you change the halo size to small or minuscule it keeps causing system ui to crash repeatedly until you change the halo size back to default, its extremely easy to reproduce
View attachment halocrashingsystemui.txt
logcaat
edit: sorry that one doesnt show much(went thru it) lemme get another 1
here: View attachment logcat_and_device_info.zip
im also having some issues with alot of setting options in rom control that just dont work
OP Updated! See if that helps your performance at all and your Halo issues. Please Clean Flash though, Don't dirty flash or else your run into some issues. This is just for this time.
Also, OTA Updates should be good to go from this build on. I'll let you guys know what's up in the Changelog

I will update with new builds as often as I can
Root is not working with the deafult setup. You will need to flash a differnet kernel and the SuperSU package.
The current ROM isn't a "feature packed" rom - if you want lots of flashy things stay away for now
Changelog (23-10-2013):
=================
Cherry picked multiwindow. To use go to recent apps -> long press -> add to multiwindow. Pressing home clears.
All changes merged up until 22-10-2013.

* Coming soon
Can you please write "a lot of exciting features" ? I really curious about that .
good news, thanks :good:
No root?
Very smooth!

So just flashed this, first impressions? I think at this stage, it's a bare 4.3 rom, no add ons, no added features or anything.
Attached some screens.
UI scrolling is a bit laggy, comparing this to my stable setup of purity+fancy ext or even my vanir setup.
This will just get better in time, so let's all stay tuned, but for now, i flashed back my nandroid as this is too bare for me.

Same feeling, nothing special at all currently, almost pure stock.
The only thing I found is the status bar of lock screen is transparent.

Does this build have multi-window? If not, would you please add this wonderful feature? As I read somewhere, it isn't merged to source. You will have to patch it.

Edit: Except the launcher (that is laggy and a bit slow) , everything is perfect
Really fantastic work

[Galaxy Nexus]
Will omniROM builds be device independent or will device-specific features be added into it, I mean will it just be ported or will it be enhanced for best performance on the galaxy nexus?
You know if it's just ported it'll be just another AOSP ROM with tons of features but it may lag or slowdown like most ROMs, while if you look lately at ROMs like vanir or cataclysm they're so fast it's insane.
So the question is will omniROM be ported THEN optimized for the galaxy nexus or does it come enhanced already?
(tl;dr Idc about most features going away if the ROM stays at least as fast as vanir, convince me to switch xD)

FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK
THE DEV TEAM IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE YOU CAUSE TO YOUR PHONE
** Please be aware some builds may not work, and be patient with the Vanir team as they continue to sort stuff out **
DIRECTIONS
Boot to Recovery
BACKUP
Wipe System/Data/Davlik/Cache
Install Rom
Install Gapps
Wipe Davlik/Cache
Profit!
**If you dirty flash between nighties, DO NOT wipe system or data before flashing the ROM. It will wipe gapps and the ROM install script won't be able to restore them**
That said, a clean flash is always recommended

So with the ROM all is working well save for a few mods. It seems if I try to make status bars mods settings closes. All the other ones seemed to be fine. I'll try to get a log cat

Yes indeed. The qualcomm optimized davlik should work on any S4 variant. I generally run it on my vzw S4 but right now im using ART as Vanirs been making some optimizations in the last build that make the phone a badass.
can I restore my app using TBU with this ROM ?

This rom is awesome, I just had something I noticed yesterday though.
While I had active notifications on playing youtube through chromecast, the screen kept flickering on and off taking me to the lockscreen. Other than that, I have no complaints.

At the moment, Navigation bar hasn't been worked in for s4 variants since there are hardware keys.

Very nice ROM guys... 2 bugs to report. 1. Haptic feedback is inconsistent. 2. When customizing the notification tiles, the changes don't stick. Just letting you know if you didn't already. If ya did, i apologize. Keep up the great work though!

I noticed you are using KT kernel but no Ktweaker. I tried flashing the AOSP KT kernel but would not boot. After dirty flashing to get the stock kernel back I looked again and noticed the build is KOT49H. Is this based off of a Google Edition base. If so then I know why the phone would not boot. Other than not being able to tweak and play it looks like a solid ROM.
Never mind. I noticed there is an occasional boot hang issue with this ROM. I had to force close and reboot to get it to boot on the stock kernel. So I tried the AOSP KT kernel again and it booted ok.
Never mind. Definatly a modified KT kernel. Way to many issues using the standard KT kernel. Will there be a version of you kernel that will come with the Ktweaker App.

I assume you didn't read the other thread lol
This OmniROM is official, and come as nightlies, whereas OmniMetal on the other side is unofficial, non-nighly build and has many cherry-picked features including many optimizations to make the ROM even smoother.

Installed it right now,but there is a problem, user has to deactivate roaming mode, because default is on and it does not allow for installation of google account. If roaming is off then you can install google account. All seem to work, will switch to art and install louder nexus and test.
UPDATE:Louder nexus works ,and now i have switched to art.
