My old Galaxy S II I had the option to rename every file before downloading it, I thought it was an Android feature but I think it was part of the Samsung tweaking of the software.
Is there a way to do this on the Galaxy Nexus? I didn't see any options in the Downloads "app" in the tray. Are there any extensions for the native Browser, Chrome Beta Browser or maybe a file management app that would prompt to rename the file before download? Thanks for the help!

the difference is in the detail here is JRO03U and there is JRO03L

Got huge problems with this one, WIFI not working for me (even with patch, no connection) and also no chance to get any modem working, very strange, tried it XXX times from scratch (JVU--Root....)
No problem with the stock 3U or with 12.1 or any other JB with Wifi or modems.
Cannot sync google calendar, yet i can sync contacts....
Finally, someone has started a separate topic for JRO03U.
It was just messed up yet.
One had about JRO03L and the others answered in relation to JRO03U.

i think it was'nt needed a new thread but its ok as op is not responding these days....looking forward to your samsungnized rom,,,,but i have some serious problem with twlauncher-After you open and close any app launcher becomes laggy for about 3-4 seconds refreshes app list then it becomes normal it does'nt look nice,this problem was not on ics based tw roms...

For all those who have applied wifi fix and its now working then do one thing ------ FIRST TURN ON BLUETOOTH ,THEN TURN ON WIFI AND REBOOT YOUR DEVICE ....NOW AFTER REBOOT AGAIN TURN ON WIFI ...........YOU FIND ITS WORKING............YOU HAVE TO DO THIS FOR EVERY BOOT OR KEEP BLUETOOTH ON BEFORE POWER OFF YOUR DEVICE.

The JRO03U is a 99% port of Nexus.
Without special setting options.
The JRO03L RC series is even a port but not stock.
There are a lot of options that do not exist in the JRO03U.
But the JRO03U is very stable.

PLEASE READ!!!
From what I know, if you flash the MF2 ROM you should flash the Perseus Kernel because the stock kernel makes changes to the EFS partition making your current modem from the US and Canadian carrier unable to read the EFS partition.
The other thing is that once your are on MF2 you should not flash an older version ROM unless you are restoring from a backup that has the EFS partition in it.
I my case I flashed the MF2 ROM with the Perseus kernel and the latest AT&T modem included in my ROM and I am OK.
Please read this thread for more information
UPDATE: You should be OK if you flash the latest Modem and Stock kernel. Only for AT&T and T-Mobile. Sorry guys, but I haven't able to find the latest Rogers/Canadian Modem.
As always: PLEASE make a backup that includes your Modem and EFS partitions BEFORE flashing.

So if you are a purist when it comes to ROMs or simply want a ROM that just works then this ROM is for you.
This is a great ROM to use as a base for modding or as a daily driver.

Please make a backup from recovery before flashing. Remember to include the modem and EFS partition
It can be flashed with TWRP or CWM. However I recommend TWRP.

AT&T APN Settings
Because this ROM is Non-Wipe, when you flash it coming from a Stock AT&T ROM, you don't loose your current APN settings and LTE works right out of the box.
This ROM is a pure international ROM and it doesn't have the correct APNs for AT&T. So if you, for instance, reset the APN settings to default you will get WAP.CINGULAR settings and no more LTE.
In case you have lost your settings, see the thumbnails at the bottom of this post for the correct ones.

At the end of this post you will find two CSC files for LL4 and two CSC files for LL7.
Both are the same except for the background color in the email client. The first one is for a (B)lack background, the second one for a (W)hite one.
Why do you need to apply this file? Well, there are many reasons but one of them is this one:
If you wiped your original AT&T TOM before installing any of my ROMs, then Visual Voice Mail (VVM) won't work or you might not even be able to download it from Google Play. If you did a dirty flash (non-wipe) coming from AT&T to any of my ROMs then VVM will work.
Please remember to make a full backup of your ROM in case you want to revert back.
SNOTE Crash Fix -- Thanks to GR8CDNPumpkin
1. Open Samsung keyboard settings.
2. Go to languages.
3. Update languages.
4. Download English (US)
5. Select it in Languages.
6. In Application Manager, Force stop S Note, then clear data.
7. Go to second S Note and repeat step above. (First S Note is program, second is S Note Provider.)
8. Start S Note.
9. Win.

MODS COLLECTION
Some of you also asked about if the MODs from the N7105 can be flashed on this ROM. The answer is of course, provided that you match the Android version with the correct MOD. For instance don't flash a mod for Android 4.1.1 on a 4.1.2 ROM. It may work or it may not. I know that 4-in-1 is version specific.

HOW TO GET INTO RECOVERY IF YOUR DEVICE IS IN A BOOT LOOP
Remove the battery and wait at least 20 seconds.
Re-insert the battery
Press VOL-UP + HOME KEY + POWER KEY
Keep them pressed until you boot into recovery
Restore from backup (you created a backup before flashing that zip that made your phone boot loop, didn't you?)
If instead of VOL-UP you press VOL-DOWN that will make your phone enter Bootloader mode. This is good in case you want to flash an AT&T Stock ROM via ODIN.
PERSEUS KERNEL
The Perseus kernel works with this ROM and you can get it from:

As an added benefit Alpha 29.2 fixes the kernel security bug.
STOCK KERNELS
If you encounter issues after flashing a custom kernel you can flash the attached Stock Kernel from recovery and be back to normal.
Please note that this is only for DLL1, DLL4, DLL7, DMA6, DMA8 and DMB3 ROMs.

Head out to that thread and choose the boot animation you like.
To flash: Boot into recovery, make a backup of your current ROM, flash the boot animation.

SAMMY AT&T KEYBOARD PATCH
This Feature file will restore the AT&T Stock keyboard functionality back.
Find the file attached at the end of this post.
GOOGLE CAMERA 4.2 CRASHES WHEN USING FLASH
Camera 4.2 freezes and crashes whenever the flash is used and you get a garbage (empty JPG) picture.
The workaround is to keep the shutter button pressed for a few seconds, it will flash, then release the button and the camera will take the picture with flash.
FACTORY ROMS FLASHABLE THROUGH PC ODIN
Go to to this page and on the search box enter N7105 and press enter.
You will see there all the factory ROMs from Samsung for the International Note II N7105. If you want to see the ROMs for AT&T Note II enter i317 in the search box.
All those ROMs are flashed using PC ODIN and it's a good way to get your phone back to factory state.
But remember: If you have an AT&T Note II you download and flash an i317 ROM
GOOGLE VOICE SEARCH MAY CRASH AFTER UPDATING TO LATEST ROMs TYPE 2 and TYPE 3
If Google Voice Search crashes, follow these steps to fix it:
Go to System Settings --> Application Manager. Scroll down until you find "Google Search".
Tap on Google Search --> Force Stop --> Uninstall Updates; then Clear data too
Go to to System Settings; scroll down until you find under Accounts the Google entry. Tap on it --> Tap on the Google email address and choose "Remove Account"
Don't panic. Nothing will be lost.
Start "Play Store" and enter your Google account. Update Google Search to the latest version.

At the end of this post you will find a zip file for Adobe Flash Player. Flash it from recovery. This will fix Flash Player for all of my ROMs up to LL7 v1.

This is stock ROM. Multi-Window works with only allowed apps. But I have seen a few mods here in this forum that will allow for editing the list.

I gave your work a test drive finding it very stable.
Triangle Away apps not digging it though , I attempted to clear flash count & got Device N7105 confirmation popup that was a little scarey.
Basically If device is not N7105 you could brick clearing count.

Flash works flawless on my N4, it works half assed on both my N7 and N7 (2013) sites freeze up all the time. AOSP browser. Is there something i can do about this? Hows it running for u guys?

How to flash ROM without trigger Knox 0x0
If you are on leaked Lollipop you must first downgrade to Kitkat 4.4.2 becuse Mobile Odin v2.40 don't work on Lollipop!
(I test it by myself 100% safe without trigger Knox!)
If you are on stock rom Kitkat 4.4.2 without root permissons you must do safe-root first:
1) Download and install Towelroot app from here. Don't use it now!
2) Download Odin 3.09 from here
3) Download the GNF1 100% stock kernel for I9505 from here
4) Reboot your phone into download mode, run Odin and put the tar.md5 kernel file in PDA/AP and click on Start.
5) After this step, your Wi-Fi will not work. Don't worry, it will work again when you will flash the kernel matched to your ROM version.
6) Turn on you data connection (LTE) and run Towelroot app and tap "let it ra1n" (after that you can uninstall Towelroot app).
7) Reboot your phone into download mode and flash via Odin your original kernel, matched to the ROM version you are using. You can find here a kernel stock collection (credits @peppe130). After reboot your WIFI connection will come back!
8) Now go to next step below!
If you have root permissons you are ready to flash my ROM:
1) Download and install Mobile Odin from Play Store.
2) Reboot your phone into download mode, run Odin and turn off autoreboot option , put the tar.md5 bootloader in PDA/BL and modem in PDA/CP and click on Start. When it's done restart Odin and phone to download mode and flash again modem in PDA/CP and click on Start.
3) Run Mobile Odin Pro and download necessary file!
4) Choose my rom in option "OTA/Update ZIP"
6) Untick option "Enable EverRoot", "Inject Superuser", "Inject Mobile Odin" we don't need this becouse rom is rooted/busyboxed
7) Chosee "Flash firmware" and the whole process will be automatically initiated.
That's all enjoy my rom with Knox 0x0
How to flash Rom if you have Knox 0x1
1) Download and copy rom into MicroSD memory card
2) Flash latest custom recovery by Odin (position AP) if you don't have it!
3) Enter the CWM through a combination of keys HOME- POWER - and VOL UP BUTTON
4) Make a backup of EFS partition ! (optional but very important)
5) If you come from other custom rom do a full wipe!
6) Select the rom and run the installation
7) Go to download mode and flash by Odin bootloader (position BL) and 2 x modem (position CP)
