Cm 10.2 internal sd card - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Hello all. So I installed cm10.2 9/28 nightly and the internal sd card (as expected) was relocated to /data/media/.
What I would like to know is, how do I get my apps to see the new location? Camera, for instance, asks for an sd card to be inserted and won't let me take pictures when storage is set to internal. Other apps are also unable to use internal storage.
Any help is appreciated!!

Problem with apps2SD

I just did a totally clean wipe from CM7 nightly to Deck's latest build. I'm having trouble getting my apps to save to the SD card. In the settings I enabled Moving apps to external storage and made default location EXTERNAL. However, when I try to store an app on the SD card I get a message that there is no space on the card. I have a 32gb card that isn't half full. I know it's probably some minor issue but I can't figure it out. PLEASE HELP!
Anyone have some input?

I wonder if your card went to read-only. I know that if there is a problem with the card (Android doesn't fix problems with cards), it will attempt to mount it read-only.
If you have a card reader and Windows, I would put your sd card into the card reader and run a disk check from Windows...see if it detects any issues.

Issue formatting sd card to internal storage

Hi there, i just got myself a moto z play and am trying to format my sd card as internal storage.
I keep getting the error not enough space, after formatting to internal and trying to move over data, even though the sd card is empty. The card works as i have tested it by moving my pictures and music onto the card and it seems to work fine, then i backed them up and tried to re-format it back to internal storage and it still says not enough free space when i try to click the "move now" option after formatting for internal.....
any ideas would be great. thanks.
BTW its a stock phone only running nova launcher. not rooted.
What about sd card spec, share the technical spec with make and model

Formatted sd card as internal storage - now i can't update cyanogenmod!

I installed CM 14.1 on my S3. It was working great, then to save memory I formatted my SD card as internal memory. Now everything's a mess. I can't update CM to the latest nightly release (can't access the zip file from clockworkmod).
Everything else is a mess too. When I tried reverting back to portable storage, I couldn't find the Android/obb directory for my games in the internal storage. So none of my games would work. Now I'm back to SD as internal storage. I wish I never did that. How simple life was before then.

Negative SD Card Storage Size?

I installed crdroid Android 7.1 to my d855 LG g3 today. Everything was fine until I checked my SD card storage. It gives me two options to use my SD card. First one is external storage which does not allow me to move apps to it, second option is internal. When I choose internal, it shows me a negative storage (-45gb). And apps can't be moved there because phone thinks there is not enough storage in the SD card. My SD card is Samsung evo with 64gb storage. Can anyone help me?

Issues moving certain apps to External SD

I have a LG G3 running stock M 6.0
I'm trying to increase my 16GB flash size or at least move my big apps to my external SD.
I did OK with Spotify and some others, but few others (like some games) are not moving their data to my external sd.
I have problems with those apps detecting my Internal Storage as my external SD card due to the fact that the Android mounts the internal storage in
/sdcard/
linked to some other folder
/storage/emulated/0
while my real external SD card is actually mounted on
/storage/7FB0-1DEE/
What on the earth is this thing calling my internal storage, sdcard, and my external sdcard to some strange mounted folder with a weird code that of course my apps have no idea wth is that...
Any ideas how to workaround that? Any guidelines will be very much appreciate it.

PD. I don't want to use any App2SD or FolderMount rooted 3rd parties to create logical links/shortcuts and "pretent" or make thing the app the files are on the internal storage, when they are on the external sd. That thing works OK. I rooted my stock FW and tested it that way, but I dont want my phone to have root access.
PD2. I installed RR582-Nougat711 to test this Ext SD adoption (which is not available on G3 Stock M 6.0). It sort of worked OK but I lost my ext sdcard when connecting it to my PC. I'm not willing to make my external sd part of the internal storage anymore. That think is awkward, encrypting my card and losing portability to MTP transfer.
