yes. you can use Music2SD - Xposed (check it out at play store) - this requires Xposed installer installed and your device rooted.
Is there a way to do this without rooting the device?
no, since the files reside in the system partition you need root to do anything to them.

can anyone tell me a fairly easy way to get my ex sd card to work. i ran out of space on internal. i am a noooob.
What do you mean by "to work" like allowing apps to be installed on it or just as storage?

i have no more internal memory. most of the apps are samsung apps that were on the phone. i inserted a ex sd card but i can't get any apps to download to it. i would like to swap internal for external. to much samsung bloatware
You need to be rooted to do so. Then download Rom toolbox from play store. There is an option to move your apps

Hello,
I have been trying to play Puzzle and Dragons on my stock ROM rooted PLAY 2.3.3, but I cannot update the game, because my phone lacks 177+MB of internal storage (where the data is downloaded). The game is on the SD card which has lots of free space. I have tried Link2SD, but that does not move data files, and I am having trouble with Foldermount. Can FolderMount mount the data to SDcard if there is no data downloaded yet? Is there a way to force game updates to downloaded to external SD card? PAD support team is not helpful with this issue.
Thanks
Hello all,
Bought 64gb SD card in order to put all my gigantic games on it, but had no luck.
So I factory reset tablet, erased SD, and now I'm ready for your help.
Is it possible to install apps from Google Play on SD card?
Tried to move it from App manager, and now, for instance, Hearthstone is 1.5GB on internal and 44MB on SD.
please help.
Thanks.
Does anyone have any solution?

You can try using Link 2 SD, that works for some people: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.buak.Link2SD
If your'e using a KitKat rom you will need a small fix to make moving things to the SD card possible because Google restricted SD card usage in KitKat: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nextapp.sdfix
If that doesn't work here's what I use currently:
KitKat Fix above
KitKat fix xposed module: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/kitkat-sd-card-access-t2790992
And this app which lets you move large Game files to the external sd card (OBB files for games)

Hope I helped :good:
Is there anyway to completely store apps and data on the sd card? I have quite a few and when I download new apps from the play store it often fails from insufficient space.
I often go to the apps list and press move to sd, but it still stores a fair amount of data on the internal memory still.
Any way around this? Thanks!
No one?
Seriously no one?
i use Xposed module "obb on sd" on my G3S ,install xposed ,download module, activate it,then just copy youre obb from internal storage to sd card, most of the games work,if not all
Hi!
Recently I bought a 32GB MicroSD card, and put it in my LG G4.
Unfortunately, I had no way to combine both Internal and external storage..
so my question is: how do I make my 32GB internal and 32GB external storage of my phone to 64GB internal?
Or even make the phone automatically save data (system, photos, music, apps etc..) on the MicroSD card when the space of the internal storage is running out?
Thank you,
Good day
1. Combining both into one is not possible.
2. You can setup the camera to save to the sdcard by going into settings within the camera. Music also can be saved to the sdcard, but that depends on what your using go download/stream with. For example, Google Play Music allows you to download/cache to external. You may also manually move data from internal to external quickly with the built-in file explorer. I tend to use the sdcard before using the internal data.

link2sd could help you out with gaining additional space. it works much like the a2sd from the evo days. it puts apps and data on the ext4 partition of the external sd card and frees up space on the internal. May not be exactly what you want, but it could be an option. you can find it in the play store

First, thank you for answering
Now, there's an option that when theres no space in internal it will automatically start saving all data on external?

I believe it does once you set it to do so.
