It might be xposed framework. Check on your sd card, there will be a file called something like __57d5__.log. that is what it is called on mine, although yours might have current numbers. If it says anything about xposed, that is the problem. I could not find out for the longest time why ffiii, ffiv, and ffd wouldn't work on my phone, but they would on my tablet. I read somewhere to check for that file, and mine has it in there. I turned off xposed, and it worked finally.
It might be the same with the ouya store version. Only problem then is that you lose all of your xposed mods.

anyone s google wallet not working after hack?

my Google Wallet worked for weeks after the hack but today I try to open the application and it force closed. I tried doing all those steps again from the hack thread but I still can't get it to work. Just want to know if anyone else is having the same problems I am?
Same here. Was working earlier today. Nothing new installed or done to the device either.
Still working for me maybe it was a temporary server malfunction

Anybody have any ideas on what may have changed/happened?
ETA:
Stock deodex LK8 w/ latest Perseus.
I know it was working in the AM (1/5), but then I saw the OP's post and decided to check again, and... voila... in el crappero with FC's.
So far: uninstalled, wiped, manual add process which worked for me first time. Still FC's.
I say check your build prop and make sure it didn't get changed by flashing a mod etc

If the build prop hasn't changed I'd say try fix permissions and see if that solves it. Also could try wiping the app cache. All else fails redo the hack for it

I have redone the hack and it still does not work. Somehow this is working on cm10 based roms but as soon as you come back to a touchwiz rom it force closes. It used to work perfectly on Macs rom, project rom and slim rom but now it does not work on any of them.

I'd try removing the phone from your wallet account online back up your storages reformat then try it again. Maybe there's a file somewhere that's causing the conflict

Looks like there is some kind of upgrade issue we did/ran into.

This seems plausible to me...
4. If you running an N7100/7105 rom and have already flashed the nfc fix file or used the nfc files from it, then it is too late. If you recall using those files causes android to upgrade some 270+ files on first reboot. Once that occurs I believe that 4.1.1 apks and lib files makes fundamental changes to a bunch of other apps (like camera, gallery, and etc) which is causing the nfc force closes. You must start fresh again.

Thanks to the couple/few people helping.
I think we flashed a room that meessed with nfc settings and once we messed with nfc settings there is no turning back

or maybe flashed the zip file with the "bad" libs, and thaty's what cannot be updated (total WAG on that).

the note2 is missing the correct libs for wallet to work.
you need a new (leaked) rom with them enabled

Anybody know of a way to reset those files back to stock/original? or should they be reset if odin'd/flashed over?
I have flashed and odin'd so many times today, I don't even remember what my phone looked like before! Maybe I'll just take mine back and exchange it since I'm under the protection plan.
I still say there's got to be answer/fix for this...

I am having the same problem I think it would be better if I just exchange my phone but my phone is outside the 14 day period but I do have insurance. I just don't know I can get an exchange with a lot of problems. I think my phone was flagged.

I just realized that when we edit the build. prop to get the wallet to work, we lose s-note functionality. Wouldn't it be easier to edit the file to mimic that of the galaxy s3? The GS3 wallet does work on the Sprint network. I haven't been able to try it because I don't know what to replace the lines with to make it identical to the s3

[Q] Bluetooth keyboard switches input method

Hi guys,
I got a very nice logitech k810 bluetooth keyboard, But every time i connect it to my phone it switches my input method to the samsung keyboard.
Even if i set swiftkey to default. It's quite irritating..
Does anybody know if i can disable this? Or maybe which service/package causes this then ill make an xposed mod myself to stop it.
Thanks!

Thanks for your response. However i just finished writing a mod to solve this issue at the root of the problem.
PS: Would anybody be interested in me releasing this mod?
It will stop the switch to the samsung keyboard when either using a bluetooth or USB keyboard or an dock.

I will compile one tomorrow. You will be needing the xposed framework, if you don't already have it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
Manipur,
First install the xposed framework i linked it in my previous post.
Then install my mod (It doesn't matter if you switch these two around).
You should get a popup that my module isn't active (If you don't get the popup open the xposed installer application and switch to the modules tab)
"Enable XposedFreeInput"
Then reboot, Now when you connect an external input device is shouldn't switch the input method.
Let me know how it goes.
Tasker
A less elegant solution is to grab Tasker and have "Disconnect from BT keyboard" trigger an input selection popup.

Hi so sorry... Been busy a bit.
I wouldn't want to change my settings as of now. What I basically did was install an apk called keytest.
I already had external keyboard helper pro installed. I just remapped a few keys so that the keyboard doesn't change to samsung keyboard. On top of that I also added a keyboard map for the physical menu button so that I can launch it anytime I require.

U know what... I was slightly not comfortable installing the Xposed framework, because I don't have cwm recovery installed. My note 2 is just rooted using CF-Auto root method. So I can't basically make a nandroid backup. I used this method so that I can get OTA updates now and then by disabling root.
But the pop up to change to Samsung default was pretty irritating. I've tried using tasker to create a profile, but I couldn't assign the parameters. I took the risk of a bootloop and took the plunge, installed Xposed framework and installed your Xposed free input...and it works great. Now I don' t have to change my input method everytime I connect my wireless keyboard. Thanks to you man.
Sorry for being a little chicken hearted.

Cool thing about xposed is that you don't need CWM, Just root.
However i do understand your discomfort, I rooted my phone 2 days after purchasing it. The thought that i might wreck a quite expensive phone within 2 days (while voiding my warrenty) wasn't a pleasurable one indeed.
Anyway glad the mod worked, Now at least i can say it has been officially tested
Just stumbles upon this thread while searching for a solution to this annoying problem with input method switching (I bought a BT keyboard yesterday). Scalee -- thanks a lot for the module! I already use Xposed for a lot of other stuff, so that was a no-brainer for me. Just another proof that you can find pretty much anything here on XDA. If it's not here, there's a good chance it doesn't exist...
It works. Thank you so much!

Tried it on a samsung s4 with android 4.3 (rooted).
I had to uninstall it as it was causing 75% of what I type to be lost unless I slowed down to no more than a character or two per second.

Something got really hosed. Uninstalling XposedFreeInput and rebooting didn't restore the keyboard. I had to go back to a nandroid backup to fix keyboard input.
I don't really mind the samsung popup -- I just hit return on the keyboard twice to get past it. What really made me crazy was that samsung would reset the soft keyboard to their own instead of swiftkey. I ended up using tasker with security settings / system+ / input method to keep it set to swiftkey.
This App fixed it for me, but it needs root.
it fixed my problem, that the bluetooth keyboard would not be recognised from the SwiftKey. Now I can easily switch between physical and touch keyboard - Nexus 4 v4.4.2

Chrome Crash

Hello,
I'm not sure if this is related to the GPS issue or the recent update, but my Chrome Browser stopped working. Every time I launch it it crashes within a few seconds without any FC dialogue.
My GPS works fine so I don't understand what's going on.
Has this been reported?
I'd try wiping cache and data for Chrome. I don't have this issue, and I haven't seen it reported by anyone else.

Yeah I have a similar set up on 15J, my Chrome does crash very frequently on certain pages. I noticed in CatLog it has something to do with Java. I suspect (although cannot confirm yet) it's related to Xposed Framework as it happened after I got it running on my device (or a module installed with Xposed).
For a temporary work-around I've been using Dolphin Browser with minimal usage issues.

Maybe it's just something we have with our tablets. I wouldn't immediately point fingers at Xposed but that was just a correlation for me. I've just been too lazy to make a Nandroid backup, uninstall and completely remove Xposed and all of the modules, just to figure out if it was Xposed.
I would test it out before you say this is the plausible cause.
However, I find that my issue may be related to XPrivacy more, but I need to test it some more to confirm

I can confirm myself Xposed was the culprit. I was using version 2.1.4 and had upgraded to the latest '2.2' which had many bug fixes and updated 'XposedBridge.jar'.

Can't Install an "incompatible" app no matter what

Alright, I'm having some trouble installing the NCAA College Football app. I'm running Civato's FlexBeam ROM, and I've tried everything I know--Market Helper app, "All-Play-Apps" xposed module, the app still won't show up in the play store on my Note 8. I have it installed on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus phone, so I know it's not a country incompatibility (US). How do I install this damn app on my Note?

I'm going to go hang my head in shame now,

Phone app won't wake screen!!!!

This is driving me crazy!!!
When my phone is off sitting on a table and it rings, the screen does not come on. Just sound. I thought it was the theme, so I removed it from the dialer app and that didnt help. I removed the update in the Playstore and the screen comes on again when it rings. I removed auto update for the app, but what could be the reason the updated app isn't working for me?

Your issue has been reported by several others as well. They are doing the same thing you are to make it work. Would recommend you log complaint on play store under the phone app and see what happens. I truly think Google does this to jack with the themeers!

I don't know if this will help or not, but a couple weeks or so ago, the Google phone app was giving me trouble with themeing. It was due to the fact that the theme was actually ahead of the Google update(go figure). So another user figured it out and linked me to the phone app on apk mirror. So I uninstalled the phone app, downloaded the apk mirror version from December 14th, installed it, and it worked great with my theme. What's more is that even after the update from Google, I'm not having the issue that you are, or many others for that matter. Here's the link if you want to give it a go. Can't promise anything, but what the heck :good:

Thanks for that. The dev of the theme I am using replied to me because his theme was not working on the phone app. He told me I needed to install this version

I installed it and applied the theme and it worked. Since the latest update, it doesn't. The version you posted is different than the one he did. I'm half tempted to try it, but at this point I have all the updates off the phone app and using a different dialer and it's working.
Also, how are you uninstalling the stock phone app...all I can do is uninstall the updates and disable.?

I uninstalled it using my root explorer. I just delete the apk, reboot, and gone. Have to be rooted though. If nothing else, just install the apk, then if you wind up with 2 phone apps, just disable or freeze the bad one. Or, just do what your currently doing. The updates aren't that big a deal anyways :good:

Just tried it. Once I apply theme, phone won't light up. Deleted 3rd party dialer, removed theme from dialer you provided. Now I'm using the Google dialer you gave me in stock white blinding form. A bit pissed...
I have the same issue. In my case I have a gear s3, and if I disconnect the bluetooth, when the call is coming the screen turn up normally, but if the gear is connected, the screen stays black..Additional, when you take a call or do a call, the sound automatically is route to the bluetooth device, I have to habilitate the sound in the phone manually. I think it was with the January update or the phone app last update, because other people have the same issue in their android devices. The solution for now is go to Play Store, search Phone app for Google, uninstall the updates, then go to settings in the phone - Apps - Phone, and clear the cache and data, force stop of the app. The phone app come back to another version (12.1...) which doesn't have this issue, after that the calls working normally. I hope for a fix from Google...
