Xperia S charging time..

After update from 2.45 rooted to 2.55 rooted by OTA, my battery charging time increases from 1h45' to 2h10' to charge from 10% to full?.
I'm using ep850 charger, this is a bug of 2.55 firmware or my device has problems?.
I notice that in 2.45, it takes a long time from 98 or 99% to 100%, but in 2.55, it takes long time from 95% to 100%?
i just flashed again and wait to charge again for testing.

Yup i notice that too.
Also notices less battery drain in standby mode, but extreme power drain when screen is on (30% bright) + auto bright.

how long did you charge your phone, i've tested again, 1 h 55 minutes from 14% to full with 2.55 firm.
Same here ,I'm using this charger too(EP850).
It charges the device very fast ,but when it charged to 90% then it takes almost 25 minutes to charge until 100%.

You do know that's a design choice, right?
To keep that rhythm of charging from 0-90% all the way to 100% would reduce the battery's lifespan.
Dont worry guys I'll hit the little orange triangle with the ! in it.

[Q] Strange Battery

Does anyone here experiencing same problem as mine.
I have Tab S T705 and i noticed today that my battery was draining 5% every 2 to 3 min. While playing Clash of Clans then suddenly it turned of because it was drained. When i reopen it even without pluging the charger it shows that it still have 70% remaining. Is that a faulty battery or what? Thanks to those who will give their advice and experience. Thank you!
There are already numrous threads on that very same topic...
I havent seen one sir.
Wrong thread

Is it okay to leave the Tab S 8.4 on charger for more than 10 hours?

I've done this a few times leaving it on the charger overnight while sleeping. I always charge it with the Tab on but screen off. I'm worried that this could have damaged the battery and/or hardware of my Tab S 8.4. Anyone with knowledge please share.
Sorry, I didn't see the Post about posting questions in the Q&A, Help&Troubleshooting thread.
Please move this to that thread. Thanks!

Leaving it to charge overnight won't harm your
device as such. Modern Lithium-Ion batteries
don't overcharge. Once they reach full charge
capacity they cut off accepting power.
Battery lasts longer if you keep it between 40-90%
But obviously you should avoid that, as it will overheat the battery.
Just like demo units in samsung store thats been charging all day
No, no harm whatsoever. This is what modern devices are designed to do. The charge control chip will take care of it.
In fact I would say charging while the device is on would be more harmful because of extended charging times.
Charge away.

Nexus 7 0% charge with new battery

My nexus 7 (newer versiom) is old enough that the battery was dying, I had to charge too often, so I ordered a battery online, and replaced it
I put it on the charger for the night, and today morning it was showing of still charging it.
I switched it on, and I am using it since morning, but the battery indicator has been showing 0% the whole time.
Actually I have to hold the ON button for a bit long to switch it on, and I afraid the tablet has no idea how much the battery is charged, so it is not just inconvenient, but I afraid of overcharging it easily
But what could be causing this?
Thanks

This is a themes thread unfortunately...
You had posted this thread incorrectly in the Android Themes section. That section is for themes only. I have since moved this thread to the Nexus 7 (2013) Q&A section for you. For future reference, you will find the specific section for this device here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7-2013
Within it you'll see several sub-forums, the Q&A sub-forum is where any future questions should be asked.
