After rooting, i checked it with root checker and it says the device doesn't have proper root access. and the other apps said that "Application needs root privilege". This means it is not rooted, right? Now, what can I do? Thanks in advance for your help.

So i use towelroot V3 to temp root, which works. But supersu says i need to update binary, but reboots whe i try to do it normal way. So if i temp root but dont try to update binary and run sunshine, sunshine seems to just hang. It asks for root right, i grant them, but it never seems to go any farther. Just the spinning disc. Ive given it at least 10 minutes, with several 'sunshine has been granted super user rights' flashing a few times. Am i just not giving it enough time?

Hey! I don't know what happen, but I just used towelroot to root my device D855 model, and when I pressed make it rain, it said device not supported...
I wanted to root the device, so I kept looking for another easy way to root my device, so I installed Stump root, but when I was pressing Grind, it said device already rooted...
So my device was not supported and rooted anyways? Any problem that may come with this? Already tested the root and it worked...
Help please.
Thanks
I think your are fine if su and root are working. It's an all our nothing kind of thing.

Hello.
It`s hard to name the reason why built in root isn`t working. I can recommend you to flash SuperSU through recovery (CWM or TWRP). Root will work.
Has anyone noticed that if you use the ES File Explorer app you can access all the files that you would be able to access if you had root access. I wonder if anyone has looked into that to try to find a root method.
You can't modify them, an exploit has to be found in the bootloader code to bypass the lock to root.

I am able to open them and modify them. I haven't saved any of the modifications for fear of the unknown results

Saving will result in an unknown error due to the lack of root. Will not work.

Is there a way to use this minimal access to developers a root?
By no means, it has nothing to do with an exploit to achieve root. It's like any root app ..........it only works if your rooted. The root partition and /system are not read protected. So pretty much any non rooted file app can read those partitions. They cannot however read /data, /cache, /sbin, etc. We all wish it was that simple.
Is the framework and app apk available for xposed yet?
Is so has instructions for installing it been posted yet?
Rooted with TWRP and Magisk.
I do have the bug where TWRP does not register any inputs unless you turn the screen off and on again.
(Takes less the a second)
I also have no SD card access in TWRP.
Some have had to turn off hide in Magisk but hide works fine for me. I have two Bank Apps hidden form root and they both work.
I have installed jrummy's busybox and jrummy's Root Checker both work fine..
Don't care for the splash screen "bootloader is unlocked and can't be trusted" so I flash another to replace it.
So I'm ready to work on xposed any help or links to help would be greatly appreciated.
If this is posted in the wrong section please let me know.

Just curious, what process did you use to get TWRP and root in this phone? I'm thinking of buying it, but only if I can do this.

I followed this link .
https://gist.github.com/eexit/e6d5fc0984e1c7f25376d3dafa819792
I had already unlocked my bootloader
I did none of the backup stuff and started by using Android file transfer to put Magisk in the phones downloads folder.
Then from "Root the device" I went slow so I was sure to follow the directions exactly. Worked fine on the first try.
Then I installed
"BusyBox for Android" by JRummy
"Root Check" by JRummy
It's probable foolish to not do the Backup part.
If you do get your phone stuck in a bootloop look in this thread for help.
