Why Gallery does not detect pictures on sd card except pictures taken from camera? Is there any fix or ROM with working Gallery. I am using 20130627 latest build.

Have you tried flashing the newest version of the rom i.e 20130726. If the issue persists then try contacting maclaw using facebook, email. There is also a forum and bugtracker on his website which you should try. As for other roms i can not say but try to find a third party gallery because this is otherwise an excellent rom

I tried everything, wiped cache, dalvik, changed firmware etc. Messenger app works with SkyDragon butt after some time it start crashing. For me it was working only with Revolution HD 9.8.0. So I want to try it again if it works or not. Btw app version 2.2.3 works fine but newer versions not.

Hey guys,
So I updated tonight from Cyanogenmod 10.2 (20131009) to 20131024 (OTA) and all went smoothly, untill my phone booted after the installation and I kept getting messages of 'Com.android.phone has been force quit' (or something - Mine is in Dutch).
I've tried a few searches on Google and XDA - But can't find anything that works.
Could someone supply me with an answer? I prefer not to do a full wipe.
Thanks!
-- List of tried solutions yet --
- Reinstalled CM10 (2013 10 24 ) - No older version yet
- Reinstalled Gapps 4.3
- Recovery - Fix permission
P.s. Where has the Cyanogenmod thread gone? Or is this because of CyanogenMod Inc. ? - If that's yes, where can I find more about why the thread disappeared and where to go now? Thanks again.

Hmm strange..
You can flash again the stock firmware or you root your phone make a backup in recovery and replace your camera.apk or how it is called with an other one which is working. I dont know if this with replaceing will work.
Tipp: if you would flash all again or repair in pcc, root your phone and make a backup of your apps with titanium backup(you will need much less time because you dont have to install all apps again.

Hi hope someone can help. I have an htc one x currently flashed with carbon rom nightly build from 22nd. The rom will not detect the internal storage, if you go into settings just says 0kb available. I have tried to format the card to see if this helps but it doesn't. This means that the camera does not work.
Also if I create shortcuts on the home screen and then reboot the phone, the shortcuts disappear.
Did a clean full wipe, changed rom ?

It's a kernel problem of Rom..flash a custom kernel or a kernel from another kitkat Rom...if still persists change Rom...I had issues too but kernel change solved it

Haven't changed the ROM but CWM can see the storage OK so its not hardware. Have wiped and reinstalled twice with the same issue.

Ok thats great, ill have a look. But still not sure how I can get them across since I cannot see my SD card when the device is connected to my computer, or see any of the files or folder on the device.
Mount the sdcard inside the recovery and check from there. If that's oke you can also copy it

When connecting it via USB even in CWM it does not see the SD Card. Would it be better to flash another rom (thinking CM11) via fastboot.
Sorry for the delay, been away.

You can't flash the Rom via fastboot

You also need the proper adb drivers as they aren't the same in aosp roms like in sense roms...they are a bit different so you need to update them...there is also a thread in general section from and123 where he linked some drivers...

Ok but still not sure how to progress as cannot get anything onto the SD card. Also couldn't find the kernels that you mentioned further up in the thread in the developers forum.

Original development forum -.- there are some kernel threads!! And for sd card I said update the driver..if you still using carbon with it's stock boot.img it won't work if you have access to phone itself like Rom is booting download there the kernel and maybe another Rom if you want...man it's all so easy you are making it yourself hard
