i have successfully booted android many times without this problem, but ever since i switched to BLAZRs 2.2 build, my phone wont wake up after it goes into standby mode. i already tried to solve this problem by removing the p.m. sleep=x from my startup.txt. is there anything else that could be causing this problem? oh, also, my battery was fully charged for all this
set pm.sleep_mode=2
That is the same line of code that i deleted to try to fix the problem! But i will try putting it back in and see what happens. If this fails to work, what else could be the problem?

uhhhhhhh deleting command lines isnt going to help dude. lol
It doesnt wake up because you deleted sleep_mode=1.... thats the default, so deleting it means it stays on sleep mode 1. If youre using the BLAZN, with the overclock, it needs to be at sleep_mode=2.... You NEED the code in there or, you need to remove the overclock line.
It says all of this in the FAQ by the way.... you could have saved time fixing your problem and avoided posting a thread for a questions that's already been answered.
Here is the FAQ. I suggest you read it, you may not be as lost.
http://sites.google.com/site/androidport/faq
Just put the code back in and it worked. And for the record Reefermattness, I DID look at the FAQ before I posted, and the information was misleading about deleting the code to disable deep sleep. That is why I posted, so don't get all butt hurt; I know the rules.

have tried rebooting, switching roms, a lot of other things, but cannot download anything over wifi. Though, I am able to surf the net on wifi
More info required. Sorry, I have many talents but mind reading is not one of them.
When did issue first start?
Have you cleared the Dalvik-cache (be careful how you answer as "no" or "how" means you haven't searched first and that breaks one of the forum rules)?

Thanks. Yes I have cleaned up the dalvik cache. Infact while switching roms, I did full wipe and then dalvik cache wipe. But to no avail.
This problem started suddenly. Before that things were normal.
Can you download using mobile data (3G / HSDPA etc.)?
What happens when you try?

Sorry, my bad, what happens when you try to download over wifi? What errors do you get?
Have you got a friend or work where you can try a different wifi connection? Or another phone to test your own?

When i try to download over wifi, it gets stuck at "starting download" forever. I have not tried other phones, but as I mentioned, wifi is working fine since i can surf the net on the same phone over wifi!
although u r saying that wifi works properly, have you tried downloading something from the market from another wifi connection?
probably the bug will dissapear as spontaniously as it appeared.

try another ROM.
You have given so little information, how can you expect people to give good direction based on your minimal explanation?
Seriously, try another ROM or another kernel or reflash current ROM after wiping. Good luck.

ok first:i flashed cm10.1.3 from stock rom 4.1.2 and this morning i flashed cm11 from 10.1.3.
yes i did full wipe (data/factory reset, dalvik, cashe, and format/preload) i have the last version of CWM (6.0.4.3)
i had problem with IMEI (0049) and i fixed it with flashing this tow modems-Modem DDEMG2 and modem_XXDME4.
i had binary count of 6 and i bought traingle away and now its 0.
and when my device go to restart It's not often at the same time, but when i plug my charger it go offline and doesnt restart its stuck untill i take the battery off and then click the power botuum till next time it go to restart.
Edit: I think I found out what the problem is but I do not know how to fix it. The device does restart every time it is not taking advantage of the battery - I mean that when I put the device near me or charge it. it goes restart again but when it is charging is not turned on. Someone who knows how to handle it?
Second Edit: I've done in the System of the developer when the handset is charging the screen does not turn off. When the device does not enter sleep mode so it does not restarts.
Why is this happening? How do I fix this?

After your device restarts itself, go to ADB terminal then do this
Code:
$ su
# cat /proc/last_kmsg > /sdcard/last_kmsg.txt
post your last_kmsg.txt in your internal storage here (as an attached file)

It will likely tell us why your device is restarting.
If you don't know how to get in to the adb, forget it.

No it's not.
kmsg = Kernel Messages, useful for kernel panics, restarts etc (your case)
Last_kmsg = the previous kmsg that contains the error caused kernel to panic.
search for how to install adb in this forum. I can't tell you the whole story from the beginning.

I'd like to keep this conversation here because I might not be your savior
I just had the same symptoms few days ago. My Note2 was rebooting by itself with no reason.
I checked last_kmsg, it turned out EXT4-fs error http://pastebin.com/r3UNm9AS
I was using 4.3 rom with knox-free bootloader and wifi patch.
This combination, somehow was causing this error, kernel was entering panic mode due to the mount options used in fstab.
I went back to 4.1.2 with stock bootloader, everything is fine since then.

Yes it is. But we need this to be taken at the first boot after your device restarts by itself.
BTW looks like you have "failed to power up wifi chip" errors
I suggest you to use stock kernel and see if there such errors still exist.

All the files given on that video link belong to S3, I don't know if they are same to Note2(despite the video title).
I would never flash those files because I'm convinced.
Firstly I would search in this forum for the people who has the same error.
I would read their attempts and results.
I would find proper files that are for my phone model. Etc, mine is n7100, so I should never flash the files for n7105!!! I would use %100 stock files to avoid errors.
I would check everything twice, then flash.
But you look like you do the opposite. You do flash first, then think
Find a stock firmware that is exactly for your model and for your country from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31987995&postcount=9
Then enter to recovery and do a factory reset, cache wipe.
most of the times my phone freezes at boot animation and I have to factory reset everytime to go through, but again when setting up the phone when asked for network connections "use wifi to setup, use mobile data to setup" something like this, it freezes there too, so I wait 15 minutes at that screen and then proceed and strangely it doesnt freeze. I think it the issue with wifi part because it freezes there and also bluetooth and hotspots are not working, it freezes there too. Please help.
