Hi! thank you!
could you make a systemsqsh from the hero file system please?
Hi
I downloaded the 3 files.
-eclairhero.user.conf
-rootfs.img
-system.sqsh
As I understand I use a haret.exe and startup.txt file from another build?
But what modules/zimage do I use?
the conf file, is it suppose to be directly in root of sd card or in a conf folder?
Also do I use only one fat32 partition?
can I use swap and ext2?
Thanks!!

I'm just downloading the components myself (as you described, and putting them all together.... should take me an hour or so).... I'll play with it, and if it's working, I'll make an installer cab and release it... with credits to you of course.
What's not entirely clear is, is this Blackstone only? Of late, my releases have been device agnostic (and the installer supplies the correct startup.txt file for any given device).
My Android skills are limited, so any help on which devices are supported would be great.
Also, nobody's ever gotten around to giving a GOOD description of the function of each component...
e.g.
zImage - linux kernel (the absolute 'hub' of the linux OS)
modules.xxx.xx - additional files required by kernel.
initrd.gz <--- unclear what this is
system.sqsh <--- what IS this actually storing.... is it Android or is it customisation or is it both??
rootfs.img <--- what's this?
conf\xxx.conf <---- this is also unclear
Now don't get me wrong, conf is clear that it's helping the OS know where certain partitions are, and how to behave in terms of pagefiles etc etc, but the naming convention isn't clear or why it changes name (why's it not android.conf?)
Any info on this would be superb since I'd like to add it to my FAQ.
Could only get as far as the Hero logo (displayed towards top left of screen)... heard the Hero startup sound and the anim, then the screen stays in a loop of the animation and startup sound.... left for 3 mins the same....
Have to do a new build of something else before I return to this (so will be half a day now)... but will definitely come back to this
it looks great, worthy of giving a try, thanks...

is it possible to make custom kernel compatible with cm10 so that we can try the p6 roms. It seems only touch driver is different for HAM kernel so is it possible to add touch driver to existing p6 kernels?

The touch driver is different , there is some differencies in camera . The audio is slightly different .
Once I will be able to compile a working touch driver loadable with insmod we will have kitkat.

wiped data, same
will try increasing /system size a little.
Edit; increased size to 313mb, put hwasettings.apk in /system/app of rom.zip, wiped dalvic, system, cache (5mb), data, android secure. Installed and it is the same.
I have 310/313 in system, 68.3/89.38mb in /data
Home soft and hard buttons ARE working now though (probably due to wiping /data)
Get black screen with browser instead of immediate closure.

Is this rom is compiled from source or port from another phone ?!
If Slimkat can operate the many features this ROM can also close like that! You try to use vendors whether from Slimkat for test !

Hope FreeXperia Team gets it Fully Functional soon....

I will never use fxp anymore as long they only share stuff through uploaded.net. It's simply impossible to download something there if your online with your mobile. It wlways tell me i reached my download limit while its the first time at the day i even go there. I tried 5 different browsers (Google, opera, Firefox, uc browser and cm browser) and everyone show me this error.
MOD EDIT @gregbradley
Swearing removed
Working not working list please.

First impressions of the build named "AOSP_L_141224_honami.zip":
Very smooth and stable build, one quick look at the working/not working list:
- No kernel logo, for example Sony logo on boot (no big deal)
- No boot animation (no big deal)
- No recovery
- No camera
- No calls, can receive only
- No mobile data
- No GPS
- No video playback
- Screen flickering in auto-brightness mode
- Maximum brightness (auto-brightness off) should be a lot brighter
- Mic working
- SMS working
- Wi-Fi "pre-fixed"
- GAPPS pre-installed

To be honest, I got back to CrDroid which I use as daily, BUT let's not forget it's a first release. I am sure FXP team and all other developers developing Lollipops will make them perfect sooner or later. Let's give them the respect 'cause I believe most of us cannot develop ourselves.
@freexperia
Can you upload roms on another better hosting like mega, gdrive or torrent ?
uploaded.net is one of most **** hosting, slow, with limits of downloads, and errors in download.
I can't download rom from morning

I am install it. But, i lost my imei number. I make twrp recovery, my old system is OK. I make modemfix install, but this no results. Old ram nvram recovery no results too. Wy? What does it mean? I does not have signal, this rom.
Old ROM is OK.
Is it possible to upload it on another host except Mega

Hello and thanks to Syed Hassan for the rom.
I have Just installed the rom and all seams ok, but on the play store some apps I always use are not supported . The same apps works both on stock KitKat and on other phone Witch MM.
There is some fix? Could be because the device is rooted?
Thanks.

that was mentioned before in the first post:
BUGS:
2g/3g switch(Change 2g/3g in settings/system profile)
Hassan was clear about that.
you can go Setting/system profile/ preferred network
then modify which one is the 2g or 3g.
hope that help.
Its work, you save my life. Many many thanks. Thanks for help.
Hey nice to see Lineage so soon after Cyanogenmod was shut down. You say FM works but I cant find the radio app. Would a copy from RR Remix do or am I just blind and missed it?

hello, I have same issue (I didn't understood the bug from first post).
I have tried creating 2 profile:
1. when connected to my wifi network, the sim1 turn into 2g
2. when disconnected from my wifi network, the sim1 turn into 3g
but in this way the problem isn't fixed
How I do set the profiles ?
