question im usually ok with instructions and installing roms and kernals, but ever since i got this gs4 for tmobile, when i try and flash roms thru TWRP, it keeps bootlooping. any ideas? yes i wipe system/data/dalvik/cache before and then let it sit for a while.
Have you tried clockwork?

-If you're using TWRP 2.6 you might want to try v2.5.0.2 instead.(or CWM)
-If you have a 64gb card in it you need to use Infamous S4 kernel or format it to FAT32

I had the twrp 2.6 installed on my tmo s4 flashed infamous couple of times no boot loop but the dual camera wouldn't work. Then install cwm recovery reflashed Infamous and it's working fine now.

So i tried the s4 google edition roms and they set up just fine. When I want to reboot I power off the device and power back on and get thrown into a boot loop. Ive tried everything. I odin back to stock and reflash same outcome. I wiped everything before flashing and caches after same outcome. Is anyone experiencing this issue or have any suggestions?

im having issues with google roms as well.
Phone won't charge, sd card got corrupted, one rom just didn't load at all just stayed at the boot logo animation.
I'm trying to download a fresh copy of a previously working rom.
Are you flashing a TW kernel or AOSP kernel after you flash the rom?
There is a Google Edition Rom here that needs a Touchwiz kernel such as the one from ktoonz.
Hopefully that helps.

I figured it out. Twrp was the culprit. Flashed a different recovery and all is well now.

Let me apologize for not using the search, not sure how to use it on this xda app.
Anyways just flash Infamous s4 4.0. Now having that problem. Did a clean wipe prior.
Phone is also showing " unfortunately, system UI has stopped" after reboot.

With Infamous, it's recommended you wait about 5 minutes after flashing before setting up your phone.
-What recovery did you use to flash?
-Do you have 64gb sd card and what format?
I followed the OP skip pass setup wizard waited 5plus mins at home screen then reboot.
I have a 32gb ext sd , don't know the format.
TwRP 2.60

A 32gb card should not be any problems. I would take a look at the TWRP v2.6 as others have problems with Infamous using that version.
Try TWRP 2.5.0.2 or CWM base recovery.
I would Odin back to start and start over with a different recovery, it might or might not be your problem but that's the 1st thing to look at IMO.
I was using wicked rom 5.1 before installing Infamous andbit worked fine, I gonna go back to it. Is there anything special I should do other than the , clean wipe and flash wicked rom? Thanks for answering

Did you make a nandroid backup of Wicked ROM?
If you did just restore backup, if not do a clean install (full wipe, ect. like you did the first time.
As for infamous rom, I'm getting the screen shot error but it's still being saved so I guess I'll deal with it for now. Now I gotta find out how to update the 3minite framework. I paid and download the 3minite app 3.2 version but infamous only comes with 3.1 app is not compatible. Not my day for new roms lol

Has anybody noticed that when you attempt to restore a rom using TWRP you get stuck at the T-Mobile boot menu? I've tested this on version 2.6.3.0 and 2.6.3.1
Hasn't happened to me but a lot of people are reporting issues with the TWRP recovery. Try CWM next time.
+1 has anyone found the answer? My twrp works fine on any other roms 4.1.1 4.1.2. As soon as I updated to 4.3 and rooted I can back up rom using twrp but when I try to restore rom it just gets into the tmobile 4g screen boot loop.

Update and install recovery through GOOManager.
Works for me (4.3 bootloader) . First time is a little slower to boot.
If you lose root after, you can follow this directions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2607869

Never saw this b4 and how to I Decrypt it or stop it from freezing St the logo?
Even if I flash a rom or restore a backup and also the Internal Storage says 0mb.

Have you tried cwm?
Sent from my SGH-M919 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
twrp has always worked.
I can do a soft reboot but not a hard or it will be stuck also after it gets stuck and go into recovery it asks for a password.

Here's people talking about that: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2528506
I'd stick with cwm.

Thanks! I'm on vacation so when I get back I'll try to upgrade TWRP and see what happens.

Updating TWRP seem to fix this issue.
Enter TWRP
Perform Factory Reset
Perform Wipe
Then Advance Wipe System-Data-Cache
Flash new rom
It should get through the initial boot.
Setup the new Roman enough where you can Download GooManager and Install the latest TWRP.
Apparently the older versions ain't playing good wid 4.3

My sgh-t889 T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 2, is stuck on boot.
I already wiped everything (dalvik cache, cache, data, system, internal memory) and flashed the stock firmaware using odin.
I also tried flashing a custom rom using the an external sd, and both methods say it was successfully installed but it still wont boot up, it stays stuck on the boot screen. PLEASE HELP.

Not a pro but when you flashed a custom rom,how long did you wait for it too boot up.I was just flashing today and some roms would take up more than 5minutes to boot up.I would pull out the battery for 1 minute and fire it up.

it would be easier to help if we knew the following:
1. what firmware were you running before you tried the odin flash?
2. what stock firmware did you try to flash with odin?
3. what custom rom did you flash?
Yeah I know the first boot take longer, but I would let it sit for 10 minutes or more. I had to disconnect the battery everytime.

make sure you are using the latest cwm or twrp recovery.
It would be most helpful if you could give us a little more data?
when you say stuck in boot mode, what do you see?
Im currently stuck in a boot loop, past 20 minutes, and all I see is T-Mobile 4gLTE on the screen with a carat advancing through the T-Mobile. I tried to upgrade from Omni ROM to the latest Stock ROM. I've tried to flash down and get failures on flash with Odin 3.09 (Which I used to flash the phone)
Any help here would be awesome!
Yeah make sure you are using the latest recovery.
