I dont know what happend with ma phone
If anyone know the real problem behind this just post the reply...
In my opinion restarting your device can make remove the sound problem for a long time...
Anyway for:
1. Recording calls directly from line.
2. In-Call background music.
3. In-Call voice change.
May be there's custom kernel's having in-call permission, but which one is stable for these functionalities and if possible how to do that with rooted stock kernel and rom.
Hey is there anybody who can help...?
I found a in-call recorder app but it was paid so does not use that. The in-call voice change is impossible in this phone I guess. I have tried searching it, but does not found any app that can change voice in call!!!

Ok you can also use "all call recorder", it's a free app supporting record from both parties... But with this phone the other party voice recording is restricted ... I think we can't record other party voice with the stock kernel (with paid or free recorder). So I asked for custom kernel if any supporting in-call access!
Is our phone incapable of call recording !
A must have feature for a smart phone...
Solution for call recording :

*Not from line but sounds are heard clearly.
I hope you will find in-call voice changing app.
I am also looking for this..

[Solved]2-way Call recording and other
wtf do u call this thread "solved" for ?
Removed the solved tag
I mainly targeted on call recording both way.
Now I can record both party sounds.
Though there is no kernel support :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: , can you suggest a stable kernel for this.
And if possible low latency audio processing.
Hello XDA, I'm having a Galaxy Gio. I really wanna use Cyanogen Mod 9, but as I've "heard", audio drivers are modified compared with stock rom - for music listening, I'm using Philips SHP2700 which are great headphones, but music in Cyanogen Mod is too loud compared with stock rom, where the sound in my SHP2700 is just perfect!
So, finally, the question comes: Can I use stock audio drivers in Cyanogen Mod? If yes, what I must do? Thank you in advance!
I've found a way, now let's see if it will work - I copied libaudio.so and libaudiopolicy.so from stock rom to card using Root Explorer, and I will put them in /system/lib after Cyanogen installation.
No, it's not working - system freezes at "ANDROID" screen ... Please help me...
I think you have to restore your nandroid.... Also, i think it's pretty quiet in cyanogenmod 7 compared to other roms i tested.
The freezing problem it's not something to worry about, I solve it - what help I need, is about how to use stock drivers in CyanogenMod
... Nobody is having any idea?

Did you put the permissions on the stock files like they were in cyanogenmod files?
But i think CM9/android 4.0 has different drivers than CM7/android 2.3, i dont know if you can use files from other android versions.
Oh I did not set any permissions, thanks for tip.
I was using CM 7.2 not 9 . Now I have beta8 of CM 9 ICS

I do have only one problem: If equalizer is on the music skips And sometimes big painful bass peak:-(
Only poweramp works good

My audio skips alot without EQ's. As for the loudness, CM9 is CRAZY loud when compared to my ipod. Hopefully maclaw and the team can fix these in the next beta
Yes, it's louder than in stock ROM Gingerbread, where the sound (In headphones) it's perfect.
I mean, the speaker sound is very good, but the headphone sound it's too loud.

So just turn the volume down ?? And to prevent skipping, set the min freq to 480 mhz when listening to music. I also use performance governer.
well having this audio problem in Alpha8 hearing static like or gunfire but a little and in Beta1 got worse ((or only me?))
ok you can test the audio problem when you play Agent Dash
when you set your audio to full while playing the game you can hear is static like
(gunfire,sometimes no sound,and soldier marching ??)..
can someone test this?
download the agent dash game and set your audio to full..
if your having audio problem w/ me then its a game audio BUG or CM9??
but if you set it to low volume the sound goes to normal but its weak
sorry if you don't understand very well my english sucks..
did you change the DSP Manager Settings? that could be your problem..
OR
- delete dsp manager on /system/app
- delete the DSP's lib on /system/lib/soundfx
- reboot
Well in my case....i have clear audio while playing videos through mx player...music player gives beautiful music with beats while connected through 3.5mm sg tab hands free... but gives some poor quality while playing on speaker...i dont know...it might be problem with cm9...in rebel rom...music was perfect without any changing in dsp manager....but now music on speaker is not good...i dont know..i have not edited dsp manager...it is set as default...could somebody help me...???
