Does anyone know of an 4.3 AOSP ROM for Toro that has the BLE functionality enabled?

I believe fitsnugly's CM builds includes it.

Doesn't matter, you can flash the needed files on every ROM.

Shiny just added it two days ago, and it's confirmed to be working with a fitbit (although the fitbit app still needs to be updated for compatibility with 4.3).

I tried flashing the files and it did work but after that I could no longer connect to my Parrot Asteroid Smart in my car and use all the hands free stuff. I'd like to try a ROM with it already built in to see if it makes a difference.

What is the best rom??? The rom with less issues???
dude there is a thread right below yours answering exactly this do a search (Noob slap)
long story short... the only currently supported, cm 10.1 M3
Best Rom
I'm actually using Carbon Rom.
May be it's actually unsupported, but in it's actual state is functional to me.
I'm not sure about bluetooth or skype problems (actually I don't use those) but audio in video recording works for me.

for everyone that wants to sync their nexus 4 just edit the build.prop so the app sees the phone as the s4 google edition..
change the
ro.product.model=GT-I9505G
ro.product.manufacturer=samsung

Wow, works great, thanks!
Are there any negative consequences that arise from editing the build prop to show up as a different device?

I guess on the chance something else was more compatible with Nexus 4, like an app on the play store, then that'd be a negative.
I've been using method this to sync with my Fitbit Flex and it's worked great, except my camera's autofocus has stopped working.
When I open the camera and push a spot to focus on, it just gives me a red focus symbol. CM's Focal, Camera 360 and Snapchat also won't focus. Has anybody else noticed this?
Phone: Nexus 4
ROM: Stock 4.3 rooted (JWR66Y)
Kernel: Stock
Works perfectly for me also running PA 3.99 on N4.
However, autofocus then stops working in the camera due to the edited build.prop
Auto focus is lost. I tried editing build. Prop every way the Fitbit flex works. J even installed the Google play edition camera apks and still no luck
I've successfully patched application to masquerade Nexus 4 as GT-I9505G!! So now you can revert your original build.prop
PS Tested on CM10.2 nightly
worked just fine with slimrom, thank you

It looks like developers description - see help.fitbit.com/customer/portal/articles/987861-android-device-compatibility
While on CyanogenMod 10.2 I've no any error for 3 days.
Errors exactly as promised by fitibit.com

I get exactly the errors described by fitbit.com (under "android device compatibility"):
Device stops syncing after 24 hours
Battery drains quickly
Tested on a Nexus 4 with CM10.2 nightly (20130926).
So Unfortunately I have to go back to syncing with my PC. Actually even that is not working right now...
UPDATE:
PC syncing was definitely screwed up and the only solution was to leave the Fitbit Flex sitting around for another day until the battery ran out. On recharging the sync to USB-Dongle worked again (yay!)
After contacting FitBit Support about this they explained how to reset the Flex:
Plug your charging cable into the USB port and insert your tracker into the charging cable.
Insert a paperclip into the small pinhole on the back of the charger.
Press the pinhole for 3-4 seconds.
If you see lights on your Flex, let it charge for a few hours.
I confirm that turning off Background Sync prevented the problem happening again. It's been running for about four days now.
Summary
You can use this hack to enable bluetooth syncing between the Nexus 4 and your Fitbit Flex.
Turn off background-syncing! (Menu ->Devices -> tap on your Flex -> remove checkbox from "Background Syncing"))
If your sync stops working and the battery drains extra quickly then reset your Flex as described above
4 days - all is working fine...
My full firmware info: CM10.2 Nightly + KERNEL *Matr1x* v11.0
You need to turn background sync off and have it only sync when you open the app

sweet, thanks. i've already got 2 usb dongles (work and home), but this will be great when traveling.
any idea how future updates will be handled once Fitbit pushes them out? will those updates screw up this version and take functionality away?

Hello everyone,
Just doing a sanity check to see if anyone else that uses the S-view case with there t-mobile galaxy s4. I have one however on the latest 4.4.2 Google edition roms (any of them) alarm silencing and snoozing works fine but inbound calls with the case closed don't show the options to accept or reject.
Just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this issue.
Also tested with two different S4's
It is not an issue, it has never been on any Google edition ROMs

Thanks for the clarification.
Do you know if the s-view slide to answer function is strictly a GE ROM function? As in, if it's not a function in the GE stock ROM then there's no way to add that functionality? I guess I can't see why they would have left it out for the answer function but left the swipe option on for the alarm..??? Seems strange to me...

Ahhh 4.4.2 . No, because GooglePhone.apk is not open source. Big difference between 4.4.2 and ANY GE ROM.
You never loose don't you?

Yeah the op stated on 4.4.2 ge roms (any of them) so that's why I put that. I agree though I should have put any 4.4.2 ge roms.
Any Workarounds?
Curious if anyone has come to a temporary solution with this issue. It's been getting to me. Can flashing an older phone app solve it maybe? It did work on 4.3 that I remember... maybe even 4.4, but my memory is hazy on that. 4.4 went by so quickly.

Hello,
i had problems with my s5 mini with cyanogenmod 13 installed. I lost wifi connection in sleep. I was told that this was an android related problem. Is this problem still here in android 7? I am thinking about buying a nexus 5x and i don't want those problems again. I found out that this was a related problem to the wifi optimization option, which was removed.
Thanks,
MarcoBoy99
Never had that problem on a Nexus. I am on 7 for about a month now (including dev preview).

I don't recall ever having issues with it on my 5x, both on 6.0 and 7.0. It never seemed to have issues with downloads or anything with the screen off and with WiFi set on during sleep, so I never looked into it. Was your experience across multiple devices on 6.0 or just the S5 with CM? Just asking because I've noticed bugs and issues like that on just about every non-nexus device I've flashed non stock based ROMs to.

It is likely that it was a bug from the S5 Mini, the 5X doesn't have these WiFi issues.

How about fastbooting factory image? It is available on here. When getting to the new Android version I prefer doing this as sometimes I have some leftovers making my phone going crappy.

Well, good question. There's plenty on there experiencing the same. But I don't have this either. Not sure how many of those people did the clean install. I know it is painful starting up from the scratch but to me it is always the only way how to see whether there was't sorta conflict from the previous version. I am not telling you go for it. All I am saying is that you might give it a go
