Is there anything to do (bricked my phone?) - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

Hi
Noob video told to be as brief as possible, so:
-Tried different ROMs on Xperia S
-After eXistenZ couldn't get to recovery/CWM
-Tried to install recovery via fastboot, didn't work
Now when I boot my phone, it get's stuck on 'Sony' logo. Can't get to recovery to flash some different ROM.
Can get to fastboot (LED being blue and can send stuff to sdcard).
So what next? Buy a HTC One? :silly:

Use flashtool and just flash a stock rom

Xperia S wont load! HELP!

i decided to unlock my bootloader on my already rooted phone to try out some new JB roms. I installed Sspeed kernel and RecoverX which was fine then I followed the instruction to install the latest PACman rom by wiping all the caches and the system in recovery before flashing the rom. Problem is I accidentally left out the flashing and went straight to reboot phone. NOW THE PHONE WILL NOT GO PAST BOOTLOADER ANIMATION.
I tried using flashtool to flash stock rom. The phone is connected in fastboot mode but will not flash! PLEASE HELP!
Many thanks in advance!:fingers-crossed:

To flash stock rom you need to be in a flashmode, not fastboot.
Ive done that few times just install any kernel via fastboot, then you will be able to go to recovery its just that recovery is kept in system partition, so you wiped all the system and recovery flash any kernel that has recovery build in, and you will be good to go

Having trouble flashing roms

Phone: Xperia Play R800X (CDMA) *Unlocked Bootloader*
I recently got a new Xperia Play, unlocked the bootloader ( Via alejandrissmo ) and rooted it. I'm having a lot of problems flashing ANY kind of ICS/JB rom to it.
The roms I performed these steps with was PACman
First thing I did was install CWM recovery 5.0.2.7 ( 2.3.3 ) with RecoveryX. I then flashed the LupusV5 kernal that every rom has told me to flash, but after I do this I cant get into recovery. All it does is display the Lupus logo and stays there (left on for 30 mins to verify)
After this fail I .tft the 2.3.3 stock rom and re-rooted and installed CWM Recovery 5.0.2.7 (4.0) thinking that since I'm flashing a 4.1 rom I would need a 4.0 recovery. This ended up exactly the same Boot logo.
After spending a lot of time doing and re-doing x3 these steps I gave up the install instructions provided and tried some different things. I tried to install the rom pre-kernal flash but the recovery aborts with status 7 which from what I remember from the last time I saw this it means I'm trying to flash an ext4 ROM from an ext3 version of CWR. but I get this message with both versions of CWM.
Please any help is super appreciated

Pacman is unofficial jb thats different. What im trying to say is you cant install any GSM gingerbread roms. Gingerbread is crucial for serious gaming.

OK.... To get into recovery... You have to continuously hit either the back button- lupus kernel/doom kernel, or the Vol down- cm kernel/xparts recovery.... As for black screen... Thats because it doesn't have any data to load... So when you boot phone after flashing kernel with working recovery... As soon as you see the logo start pressing the back or Vol down... That will get you into recovery to flash ROM.

Strange perhaps copy everything from your sdcard and re format your sdcard, then copy everything back over. You do not need to install CWM custom kernels will have CWM build into ramdisk. And ye for me kernel back button when leds turn on.

Yea some kernels take a long time to load as I had to wait exactly 42 minutes for the kernel to vibrate and flash the led green, pink then blue so just sit there and watch it... BTW I was using LuPuS kernel

Its strange cos I noticed all JB kernels take longer to boot and it looks like its frozen but then boots but never takes me longer then 20seconds to boot into the ROM. If it hangs for any longer I just reflash kernel and it fixes it. But ive only ever had to do this once

Yea but this was first flash unlocked and it was on stock 2.3.3 ROM but idk

Cm9 does not need flashing boot.img separately any longer, have you format system yet?

Xperia S won't boot in recovery

Dear XDA'ers,
I've searched for hours, literally, but an attempt to flash my Xperia S from FreeXperia 4.1.2 to SlimBean 4.2.2 has gone terribly wrong
It didn't work and I couldn't get to boot into recovery no more.. Now I've tried to flash an update through fastboot (The tutorial told me to erase the system partition, so the rom is gone now).
All I've got on my Nozomi left is a FreeXperia boot.img, which should include a CWM recovery.. But clearly it does not because I can't get to boot in recovery
Please, I need help!
Things that do work :
- Fastboot mode (and my PC detects it)
- ADB detects it
Thanks in advance.
If your pc is detecting your phone then just flash the stock Rom. And then after that flash the Rom you want to.
Sent from my LT26i using xda premium
You can flash the rom's boot.img with fastboot. Once that's done you should be able to boot to CWM. There you can retry flashing the rom
Sent from my LT26i using xda premium
If you read the start of the opensemc thread you can download the earlier versions of the rom which you can actually fastboot the kernel and the rom. Then your phone will boot again. Then from there flash what ever you want

[Q] Phone bricked while trying to flash CyanogenMod

Hi! I just bricked my C6503 when I wiped cache+data and flashed a CM10 zip (this one: http://get.cm/get/jenkins/42533/cm-10.1.3-odin.zip). I had clockwork mod recovery installed by this script: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2251093 (I installed the CWM6-cray_Doze_v2.1-ENG.zip).
After rebooting it just wouldn't boot anything anymore. Just the blinking red lights if the phone was plugged to the wall charger and the blue light when I started the 'fastboot' mode by pressing power+up while connecting to the usb port of my computer.
I can send fastboot commands but I can't flash boot images (it just returns an error).
My phone bootloader is not unlocked (aka still locked). I tried unlocking it by the sony process but the code they supplied me (after I filled my IMEI, name and e-mail) just won't work.
PC companion has no options for fixing this and the EMMA (aka flashtool) complains my phone is not unlocked so it can't do anything. Please help me! I just want to get my stuff back how they were! (Using OnAndroid I have made a nandroid backup of both apps and system data which are stored in my SDCARD. I backed up the apps and data with titanium too).
Well, that's what I know about the problem right now... Do you guys have any solution for this?
If you want to flash AOSP based rom, u have to unlock ur bootloader because it need different kernel. Kernel can only be flashed with unlocked bootloader.
For ur issue, download ftf and flash using flashtool.
