Hi. I have a problem. On my phone (Kyrillos v8) all YouTube and flash videos lagging my phone so I can't do anything and must remove the battery. Generally it happens when I charging my phone but when I not, it also sometimes happens.
This is stock JB bug (and is still on v8). Install CM or back to GB and don't do new thread for simple, single Q.

Hello,
I have been watching and since reading u on this section of the XDA Forums since the start of december 2012 when i got my Xperia S. Excellent phone but after a while the stock ICS did start to annoy me with it's frequent hang ups and it's inability to open up simple programs at times.
So i decided to flash a kernal after updating to .45 ICS stock, specifically the Sspeed V8 kernal. Again it was good and even up until yesterday before i flashed the CM 10.1 it was doing it's job.
I decided to go one step further and i unlocked the bootloader and i firstly installed CWM 6.x.x.x, then backed up my data, wiped cache partition, wiped the dalvik cache then i wiped the phone data, Then i flashed the CM 10.1.zip it installed successfully. It loaded up with out any glitches or hitches.
I then flashed the Gapps.zip V.xxxx2012 for 10.1/4.2.2 it to flashed successfully.
I have been so far impressed how smooth and lag free it is and such a big difference,
i have encountred 3 bugs, mostly the "(insert app name) unexpectedly closed" bug, in this order.
Camera - when turning on the HDR feature of the camera and then trying to take a picture it crashes with the above bug error msg. the first time this happened i tried to open the app again but it would not open and repeatedly the above error kept on appearing. I rebooted the phone and the app starts up with out any problems, BUT again when turning on the HDR feature it will crash again to home screen but i can be started again and used, just with out the HDR feature turned on, the rest of it works fine (i dont use the HDR feature anyways.
Messages - this crashed with the same bug above after some mid-light usage after about 12 hours or so, i simply rebooted the phone and it solved it.
so far no other bugs have been encountered and it is still running smooth.
i wanted to to ask this is a known issue the bugs above?
also my second question is, will a multi-tasking window mod be available or possible for the CM 10.1 like on the samsung phones?
thanks i will try and update this thread with new bugs and fixes.
Okay so, first off, I'm not much of a noob in flashing ROMS and tools, I've had a bit of experience with a Samsung Infuse before, now I got this Note 2 and TouchWiz pissed me off, of course, now I need a lolipop ROM, I used ODIN to root and install TWRP recovery, also flashed a 5.1.1 "RESSURECTION" ROM, tried CM12 too, now the thing is, I'm getting a weird lag, this lag occurs randomly, lasts 2-3 seconds, followed up with a weird vibration, yes the vibrator vibrates the fone whenever this lag occurs... Now I tried a lot of stuff, except unlocking the bootloader because I'm not sure if it'll fix it or not, also after a while I noticed that it didn't detect my SIM card, could it be that my phone is refurbished? Everything else works ok but the lag makes it unusable.. The lag occurs on both CM12 and the other ROM so I don't think it's because of the ROM.. I'll revert to stock Kitkat using ODIN, but I really need to fix this. I tried Google for solutions but I can't seem to find anyone else having the same problem... So please help me out here mates
Ever since I've installed the rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3068820) my phone has been overheating on semi-long periods of use, or playing youtube or gaming. (sub 5-7 minutes). I don't know what causes it, also the phone freezes sometimes on Chrome/Whatsapp. I don't know whats causing any of these but I'd love to have them fixed, don't know how though.
The reason I switched to the ARHD12 was the sense toolbox, i really want to customize my phone but that doesn't work either since xposed frimware, the latest version for my phone says corrupt zip whenever i try to flash it. flashing to nandroid backups also soft-bricks the phone, sadly.
If it's possible, I'd like to just revert to the stock version of the phone that didnt overheat, and or a nice customizable rom that doesnt heat ): (viperonem9=softbrick, idk why ;-
Best Regards.
I have the d851 T-mobile variant with 3gb, and while I have no issues flashing whatever rom I want, none of them happen to be stable. Originally my phone would just turn off and I would have to perform a battery pull to bring it back. It could happen at anytime, while it's sitting on my desk without being touched, or just browsing facebook. I bit the bullet and installed the official OTA and rerooted the phone and tried a number of other roms. They still crash, however I have been presented with a crash manager that allows me to reboot with the volume key instead of having to do a battery pull. Even the touted Cloudy G3 rom crashes on me. Quite literally, the only rom that works is stock. I have been searching everywhere for an answer and my eyes are about to bleed. I have never seen anything like this...does anyone have any insight?

Well I recommend a clean TOT or KDZ flash. Hope this will fix your problem. Please do follow this post to flash TOT or KDZ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089 then flash any other rom. Thanks!
hello, I bought this phone on 2016, till now I had no issues but suddenly I experienced that If I play a video or youtube or make a video call for more than 5 minutes then my screen starts to flicker and like overlaps to eachother so I cannot see what's going on. the sound gets played on background without any issues. if I click the power button to make screen go off then it goes off and I resume the video, it resumes normally but only for 3-5 seconds this time.
so I thought of formatting, I went to recovery mode, cleared and did factory reset. but still no luck. so I am now thinking of flashing stock rom once again to experiment whether it will do the trick.... BUT the thing is I searched the whole internet for the stock rom for my model and I am unable to find. its sm-g928a baseband version- g928aucu2bpe6. right now it is in android version 6.0.1.
and the another question is what if I flash the rom of another baseband version? will it work? because I think no one has the copy of my stock rom.
thanks in advance.
