[Q] best games?

which games would you say are the best for this phone (paid or free) and which ones would you recommend from this list or not recommend:
dark incursion
backbreaker 2

blood and glory and Evac/ Evac hd are very nice games too.

also, what are the best graphical games and why are some gameloft games unavailable for this phone?

wel it depends what kind of games you like but first of all real racing 2 is the best looking race game except no xperia play controls which is to bad. u should try asphalt 6 or fast five, for me the games i really enjoyed on my xperia play are:
gta 3(no explanation needed)
shadow gun(one of the best looking shooter+good controls)
modern combat 3(also good looking shooter but might be hard in multiplayer due controls)
Dead space(survival-horror game, very nice controls and nice graphics)
age of zombies(top down twin-stick shooter, pretty funny)
pes 2012 or fifa 2012 (if u like soccer)
race of champions(good looking race game and its totally free!)
reckless racing(nice top down race game with good controls,reckless racing 2 will be released one of these days)
sacred oddesey(action adventure game with puzzles, like zelda)
riptide GP(good looking jetski race game)
Trial Xtreme 2(fun motorcross game)
triple town(addictive puzzle game when u understand the game)
zenonia 3(nice RPG game)
backstab(really nice game but bit laggy at times)
AirAttack HD(nice looking top down air combat shooter)
guerrilla bob(top down shooter with local multiplayer)
Muffin Knight(nice platformer with local multiplayer)
also u should check out Onlive, its an app that streams pc,xbox360,ps3 games on ur play pretty fun if u have good wifi connection

Real Racing 2 is pretty darn good, but I'm waiting for Xperia play controls .

I can't recommend OnLive enough for the Play tbh

I have onlive, asphalt and the free ea games but in my list above, are there any that I should avoid? Also, when on the game loft website, it said that sacred Odyssey and gangster (the 3d one) were unavailable for this phone.

One of the reasons I ask is that I'm interested in these games and the ones mentioned above but it would cost more than 30 quid! But to be fair, these would probably last me longer than a 30 quid xbox game.

Are you serious ? Onlive is awesome. Pro evo works a treat. There's quite a lot of games that play well with the Xperia Play.

Yup "can't recommend enough" means that I can't say enough good things about it, its bloody fantastic and I'm a massive fan boy.

Hey all,
Just wondering what games you've tried that really make the most of the gpu and 720p screen.
I'm not much of a gamer but I'm looking for any recommendations that will wow me, if you have any please?

NOVA3 and mass effect infiltrator are probably some of the best looking games on the market right now.
with chainfire sonic 4 episode 2 also runs fine and is a good looking game

Thanks. Nova 3 looks good. Mass effect isnt available for my devices apparently. Think its a country thing (UK).

NOVA 3 is brilliant. Got it the other day. Same with Modern Combat. Both brilliant and bright on the screen.

N.O.V.A 3 its perfect, i love Shadow Gun, Real Racing 2 and Dungeon Hunter 3

it sucks i wanted to get NBA jam and play on my s3 and i went to the market and i can't download it for the S3 but I had it on my desire z BOOM SHAKA LAKA

Machinarium looks pretty good & is a bit different. As for looks, Modern Combat 3 gets my vote.

Yeah, but on console or a PC there is no Max Payne 3 for android.

Sorry my bad, Max Payne for android. I'm playing it on 360 as well so mixed it up

GTA III fully-maxed out, and be sure to turn off the Frame Limiter; the game will run at 60 FPS and look sharp! Seriously, it looks beautiful. Also, as mentioned, Shadowgun. And Max Payne, as compared to running on my Galaxy Nexus (which runs it only a little slower than the S3), does what looks like HDR lighting on the S3.

Saw somewhere renaissance blood for tegra 3. Anyone can find it on app store via SIII, i can't even with market unlocker.

Asphalt 7 comes out very soon for Android. Can't wait for that.
Real Racing 2 works very well and gives you a Gran Turismo feel

For some reason I can't dl max Payne or modern combat 3. With my first galaxy s3 it worked fine. But with this replacement s3 they say not compatible with device. Anyone else having this issue?

Now my opinions about the games:shadowGun is great,fun game,and performance is awesome.
Modern combat:its laggy.dunno why.but its a great game,but its really hard playable.

Pain in the ass because you have to wait one hour to receive 1 energy point to play one hole, or buy energy with real money. But as you progress it gets better.
Otherwise it's 'classic games', but I haven't done so after selling my Xperia Play. Bluetooth gamepads aren't portable compared to slideout gamepad.

I love playing the Zenonia series, they're great RPGs.

Temple Run and Aliens Invasion. Paper Toss. Basketball Shoot.

I play flashing new ROMs, kernels, and mods. Hours and hours of fun and they keep adding new levels daily. It's the best game out there!

That's why I kept my Xperia Play Nothing beats it for most types of games.
However, on my Nexus, my favorite is block breaker HD. And honestly...I think thats the only game I've played on it. Oh wait, Riptide gp as well!

I was an E4GT owner before I got my GN and Modern Combat was silky smooth (except for the Chase mission). I do notice it to have quite some lag on the GNex, maybe the OMAP can't handle it as well as the Exynos.

asphalt isn't bad either.

I've been looking for excuses to pull out my phone and game but everything now and days on the play store is either freemium garbage or casual games that really doesn't let this beast shine.
Go ahead and recommend other users some games and share what you play along with user names if it's required.

I tend to only play 'Hardcore games'. Like the graphically intense ones and online multillayer. Asphalt8, MC4, Anamoly KR, Bladeslinger GTA 3 and Vice City. Pretty much all the Gameloft games. Haha

I purchased the Final Fantasy 4 remake last week right after I picked up the Note 3. I have been playing that almost nonstop. It is a really great port of the original. I also enjoy some space shooting action in Galaxy on Fire 2. Its freemium garbage, but if you don't mind mindless repetitive space battles, there is no need to give them money for credits. I cruise around from solar system to solar system decimating the space pirate population. I really get into it. I also have FPse and use that to emulate a lot of the old PS1 games, not the most graphically impressive, but great fun.

I just started Shadowrun Returns, and i'm not usually a big game player, but i'm loving it so far

Spectral Souls, addictive RPG game and well worth the money. Still haven't beaten it yet.

i love gameloft games, but have not played any yet on the n3
right now i am just playing Clash of Clans, Plants vs Zombies 2, and various emulators

Hands down Real Racing 3, is the most graphically intense Game right now, in my opinion aways it's the best Game to show the powerhouse the note 3 is .

You got FF4 to work on your Note 3? I can't seem to get it to work on mine. I'm running DSv2 rom. Is your FF4 installed to internal or external SD?

Internal SD, running stock - haven't rooted yet
Edit:
To clarify, I am playing the FF4 remake that is available on the Play store

Weird because I can't. FF4 is auto set to external SD during the install. I would change to internal but it still doesn't run properly. I'm rooted & on DSv2 rom.

Agreed with Rea lRacing 3, also try Asphalt 8, Riptide GP2 (very nice water/motion blur effects) Dead Trigger and very soon Dead trigger 2. Dead space also looks amazing!

I play Max Payne on the Note 3 and GTA 3...both look beast on the Note 3. Tried to get Batman Arkham to work but it was a no go. :crying:

Bloon TD 5 and Bloon TD Battles. JetPack Joyride because its oddly addictive for me. I have a 2013 Nexus 7 so I usually play games on that and have a ton of them on there. I enjoy Cut the Rope and is great with the S-Pen.
