I'm just wondering as to which 2.3.6 stock firmware is the best one to use? I'm using LK6 at the moment. Does it matter much?
Thanks
If is stable no matter. Install JB or CM .

Where or how can I find stock ROM for Arc S? Or what do I have to do to get it back?
I have unlocked and rooted my device and tried another ROM but I think I have to stick with the stock one..
Any information you need from me, kernel?, baseband or anything?
Thanks
Flashed another ROM and now my Arc runs smooth, so forget about #1
i use arconium 7(gb) as my present rom but i want to upgrade into modded ics 90.2 lrs(ics).. im wondering if its ok if i just flash it directly to my phone or do i still have to flash stock ics firmware? any suggestions please?
you can directly jump from GB to ICS without flashing ICS firmware..but make sure you clean data and cache before installing ICS ROM
thanks!

But i think it's better to flash the stock ICS first for better performance and compatibility.
its doesnt matter... flashing an custom ICS ROM from GB is the same thing as flashing the stock ICS from GB, performance and compatibility will be changed in that ROM as well with other features.

Just wipe data and cache and flash MooDed.
but don't forget to flash an ics based kernel first!
HI, I was on latest stock rom from GIO (Gingerbread 2.3.6 - I guess), and I upgraded to CM7.2 Jelly Bread custom rom (ROM OS Version: 2.3.x Gingerbread / ROM Kernel: Linux 2.6.x). Before I flashed the custom rom I made a (nandroid) Backup with CWM on the stock rom. now I decided to restore back the stock rom,
My question now is: Is it possible to just restore my backup with CWM and I'm back on stock rom? or I need to do something else? or maybe depends on CWM version???
Any Help Please
Thanks in Advance

Hi so im currently using DN3 Rom the 4.4.2 Based one and I enjoyed it. But just now since the stock camera was launched on the playstore I want my device to become cm11 or aosp based rom. So this is my question if I flash aosp rom isnt there any problems at all? And if I succeed to flash aosp could I get back to dn3 again with the same procedure or do I need to flash everything via odin? Thanks

You don't have flash your phone using PC Odin but for changing your phones base from TouchWIZ to AOKP/AOSP you've to perform clean installation.
i cant seem to find latest stock kernel whos working good and no bugs.
