I somehow uninstalled this app and can't seem to get it back. I tried downloading it from the market but have been unsuccessful. I deleted the old apk I had hoping that would work but it didn't. Does anyone have apk link that would work. I think the old certain version I had was 1.85 and I believe it's up to 1.9. I found that apk but it wouldn't download for me either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, so I have Swype and when I installed the official Swype it doesn't work. I tried to use Titanium Backup to reinstall my other Swype back and that didn't work. How do I get it to stop force closing or how do I uninstall it and go back to 2.15?
Edit: it is 2.17 version from the 3.7 update.

Okay, so the files that I already have are most likely different lib files?
Dude that worked! Thank you! Now I have one more question. How would I find the swype core file if I wasn't rooted? I replaced the file in the theme and it worked like that.
I would like to know what folder is the original in so I can help someone else replace theirs (that isn't rooted).

Well, I got caught without any backup, so just checking to see if anyone still has the ACS google plus CWM flashable zip, or the actual apk? I can push it to system if that is what you have! Oh and I am aware it is still listed on the ACS updater, but it does the equivalent of a 404 (bad URL or sd card not mounted). If anyone can help, thank you very much (in addition to the thanks you will receive if you help lol).

I looked in the android secure folder and found some aesc files and deleted one and tried installing the app with no luck. I can not find the 2mdl file that every ones says is the problem of why it won't install apps on my sd card. Any help would be appreciated. Running on ICS Blazer.

I can't tell if this old post really applies to this phone and the app 2 sd issue or not and it is a completely different version as well. If anyone else has a chance to test this let us know please. I'm on GB at the moment.

When i try to update google now i get an error saying package isnt signed correctly, delete previous version. I renamed the quick search box apk and tried installing Google Now thru the play store and i get an error saying incompatible update. Anyone else getting this error and how do i fix it?

That happens sometimes .. If your using inverted gapps it won't update. Do like above and flash a different gapps package.

I'm pretty sure it is because your GNow.apk is signed. When this happens to me on my devices, I usually go to Settings>Apps>All>GoogleSearch>Uninstall Updates. Then go into the market and it should be there for you and ready to update correctly. If you have inverted like someone suggested above, it won't update unless you do what I said above. Also once it updates, it will no longer be inverted.

I've been trying to update Gmail through the Play Store but it keeps giving me an error "Package file was not signed correctly. Uninstall the previous copy of the app and try again.". I don't really know what to do past this point, I'm guessing I have to flash the new version but I can't seem to find the link to it. Anyone have any links to the latest gmail or gapps I can get? Thanks in advance.

Because gmail is now in the play store it isn't included in some gapps. If you are using Task's aokp ROM with his gapps, it can't be updated as he's modified it for his dark ui.
If you really wanted to uninstall it go into /system/app and delete gmail.apk
Reboot and you'll be able to install it in the play store.

Just gonna add to this that if you delete and install from the Play Store, the Dark UI won't work on it.
Thanks! Uninstalled and reinstalled through store worked. In case anyone stumbled on to this thread in the future I uninstalled through Titanium Backup, and rebooted. Deleting the APK didn't work for me for some reason.
