Heellpp i was installing xxmg2 for my ace 2 and it's charge has finished while i was downloading.i charged my battery with another ace 2. but still it doesn't work. i can't go download and recovery mode!!. please help me!! i don't know what can i do!
Is your battery charged ?
Try to chatge battery an boot. If that doesnt help there is 3 combo button way. I am not sure how do do it but i think that procedure is next:
1. Take battery out
2. Press home+power+vol down(try with vol up also)
3. Hold for 5 secs
4. Put battery in, it should boot
If that doesnt help try using jig or jtag, you can order them online
That is why you nees to recharge battery before flashing, and there is for reaso message "do not turn of the target!"

I have fully charged my battery wit another ace 2 in home. i tried what you said but still it doesn' t work.
Than you will need jtag or you need to bring your phone to samsung service center

If you can't access "download mode", and even can't turn on your phone - go to samsung service center for JTAG, or if you have warranty, they can change the mainboard of the phone.
If yo dont come to samsung logo your phone is totaly bricked. I had the same problem some weeks ago. I had went to the shop were i have bought my phone and he sent it in. I was afraid that they will recognice that the phone was rooted has custom ROM and Kernel but the man said that i should try it. After two weeks i get an SMS "your phone is here" I went to the shop abd voilà i got a new handy!

yesterday i got my sgs and first i wanted to update it to JM5.
Because 3 of my friends have the same phone i know what to do.
First i tried to get into download mode but it doesn´t work.
I found here in the forum (thread 749470) "Australia Optus Galaxy S no download mode!" that i´m not the only one with this problem.
Someone told me to use "adb reboot download" to enter download mode - and this worked fine. The working android appeared on the screen.
Odin now found the phone and i tried to flash but it always ended with "file analysis....". So I found help in this forum - restart pc, start odin as admin, use another firmware, try other usb port - nothing happened - last thing: remove the battery for 30sec and try again.
NOW: SGS alway shows the same pic: a phone + ! + PC - but PC can´t find phone, phone can´t be switched off - nothing!
What can I do now except taking the phone back to my dealer?

if you can not get into download mode, then there is no way to fix it
you'll have to send it back to the store, to have it repaired
hmm, you can press at least the power button for 7-10 seconds, then the phone reboots, mybe you are able to go into download or recovery mode, with those button combinations.
but isn't that icon his screen shows, meant to connect the phone to pc and start kies so kies can fix it? (at least i read sth like that on forum) but if this all doesn'T work i don't know
You can always switch the phone off, pull the battery out. ( Avoid doing so when flashing though. )

This guide is really not all that useful.
Take out the battery, and reboot by first pressing voldown+home and then power and wait until you see the yellow download screen.
I'd recommend not doing anything with a phone that you can't get into download mode from a cold start with. Too much can go wrong. Leave it on stock.
I remember seeing that screen when I thought I had bricked my phone, I think I managed to pull back by removing the battery and trying again.

that is only because your 3 button combination was working
in his case, his 3 buttons are not working
there is a batch of samsung phones that came from factory with the 3 button combo disabled

Desculpe amigo, no entiendo.
As far as I understood you, your phone is not showing you any boot screen OR there's currently no software running on your device, & I'm quite sure that your cell phone's battery is not charged enough to run the device in any mood, try searching your local mobile market for Universal Charger, charge your battery for 7-8 hours, meanwhile download RSDLite & Brazil Froyo Official SBF,after 7-8 hours then put battery back in defy, Turn your phone ON while pressing Vol UP [keep it pressed until it shows you bootloader], then open RSDLite & choose downloaded SBF, let it finish & VOILA, you're good to go again.........
PS: Defy is having locked bootloader, means whatever u do with your device, you can't brick it in any means, always it will run in Bootloader mode

before it is the way that I could do the flash, but the last time I used a rom (Froyo) that I can not remember the way and left it,
I sent my phone to Motorola, but they included this pie plate that's my fault!
My problem is:
- Just see white LED,
- Black screen,
- Phone doesn't boot?
- Never ever see the motorola logo
McGyver Hack tried and left carrying several hours but the phone shows no signal, LED lights only when connected to USB

Did you try to follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wik...#Recover_Nearly_Bricked_Phone_.28hopefully.29 ?
If not, do so. If you see the white LED and did not do any physical damage to the phone, it should be unbrickable and with the guide from above it should work again.

Which rom did you flash?
Normally you should be able to enter stock recovery by holding vol-, powering on, and stop holding vol- when the yellow triangle appears. Then press vol- and vol+ at the same time and wipe cache. Reboot and done.

Am I doing something wrong with RSD? to put the flash, and when it appears to manually restart it restarts but gets stuck in the Motorola logo, remove the battery and put again holding power + vol up and it appears that the RSD over this process ... right?

Maybe try a more recent version of rsd lite, like 5.1. Also install the latest motorola drivers.
You may also try to check the MD5 sum of your SBF against the one given on the download page. Or download the SBF again and reflash a second time.
Did you wait for RSD to display "Reboot phone manually" or "PASS/FINISHED" ? If you're not 100% sure that it's done, simply wait for 5 minutes or so and check whether it has finished or not.
You could also try to flash a 2.2.2 rom (nordic or so).

in part he is in "manually reboot phone" and hangs on the Motorola logo, it is still "manually reboot phone" even after five minutes, I pull the battery and replace and go into the bootloader, and woe in rsd lite it was "Reboot phone manually" is "PASS"

Starting at 1:05 and the next 20 seconds or so I don't really understand why you're putting the battery out and in so often. After rebooting the phone, you should simply wait for RSD to show PASS and then just wait another 2 minutes or so for the phone to boot. Why do you start it in bootloader mode again ?
Also, did you try to flash other Roms? If not, try Nordic 2.2.2 or others (but NOT 2.3.4 roms!!!!)
Btw, is it still impossible to enter stock recovery?
So ... I took the battery because the moment that appears to restart my device and manually reset it is in the motorola logo until the battery runs out, and if I call to replace and usually the rsd lite still says need to restart if I shot and put the battery and go into the boot loader shows the RSD lite "PASS"

I have a Samsung W which is not rooted, with Stock Rom as i bought it. Everything was ok until yesterday. I put it in my pocket and the phone was Suddenly turned off. Since then the phone won't turn on except that the screen sometimes flashes when pushing numerous times the power button.
When i press the Vol+ + Center Button + Power Button to enter Recovery mode nothing happens.
I will charge it overnight to see if something changes tomorrow.

Finally Turned it on, But Samsung Kies and ODIN seem not to working at all. Samsung Kies stacks at "Connectind" & ODIN detecs the phone successfully, but when the phone restarts it won't turn on, i have to remove battery and Open it in Download mode again.

I disassembled the phone and the power button is working fine. I can't enter Dwonload Mode. the phone won't turn on at all :/
Since it is not flashed / rooted & with stock rom, just sent in to a service center, it's the safest thing to do right now i think.
After that you can do with it what you want

What 'big mark' making it cannot be sent back to Samsung lol? Maybe you should install CWM and do a full wipe first before you flashed the ROM with Odin (anyway sending it back to Samsung will still be the best solution as you may accidentally void the warranty when you are trying to fix it)
Well, i believe for ODIN to work first u have to kill Kies Process using the Task manager or you will get some conflict between the two.
Also, if your phone has a scratch on top of it, then your fine. However, if it has a big DENT or if it is broken somewhere, then they will probably assume it was a problem due to a fall or something. However you can always try and send it to the service center and they will probably sort it out or replace your phone as a last resort (even if it has a scratch on it xD).

This is my first post. I have had Note 2 for 6 months now and have done a root using Samsung Galaxy Tool kit which worked fine.
Few days ago, I update the phone updated which unrooted the phone so decided to root the phone again last night.
It went through fine and the phone was working. I was able to use all the apps and make calls. This morning after making a call, I put the phone on the desk, after 10 minutes, the phone was dead. I couldn't turn it on.
Battery was fully charged. when I press the power button, there is a red light on top flashing.
I have tried vol up + home button + power but it doesn't work.
I have looked at other forums but no real answer to the problem.
I was going to flash the phone with original stock rom using Odin, not sure if it will.work
Please advice there is any other solution to this.

How you will flash ROM? you are able to reboot to download mod?
If yes, try it
Symptoms are highly suggestive of sudden death.
If you are unable to flash ROM, don't do anything and send it to service station.
Well have you taken out the battery yet? If not, please do and leave it out for 1-2 minutes. Then put it back and see if it boots.

no I can't boot the device hence can't flash. you are probably right, "sudden death" as I can't do anything except the red light next to the ear phone flashing every 10 secs.
Yeah that is proximity sensor light and that is classic symptom of sudden death.
Can you tell me you were on which rom last?
I mean you have updated to which rom, bcoz latest rom believed to be fixed for sudden death. And that will be big challenge if you were on ll7 and still it is sudden death.

I was still on original 4.1.1 , only re-rooted last night.
was planning to put a CM10.1
guess it's a trip to Samsung Service Center, only worry is it was rooted when it died.
not sure if they will cover it
I have this problem after i flash note2core kenel AS but i was able to enter recovery and flash OC version and no problem try pull out the battery then enter recovery.

unfortunately there is no Samsung Service Center in Leicester (UK)...need to find one and then hopefully they wont know that my phone was rooted
back to the old old old Sony Ericsson- just text messages and phone calls

thanks, at least you tried.
I wont be able to flash any rom as Galaxy Note 2 tool kit cannot connect to the phone even though all the drivers are installed.
The phone need to be in either recovery mode or need to be on to flash ( unless I am mistaken)
And in what circumstances appear???

They will never know that you are rooted unless you tell them.. it is sudden death .. bring it for warranty just dont tell them that you rooted it...

Don't worry in sudden complete death (unable to get into Download Mode) they can't figure it out.
Just ask him it was as it is after purchase and it happened suddenly. Do need to even mention you can't boot into recovery or download mode.

I've got a "new" phone that had an lock password, since i didn't know the password, i did a hard reset to the phone.
Now the phone won't turn on again, pc wont recognize it. Did i do something wrong?. I've follow the instruction from http://www.hard-reset.com/lg-g3-hard-reset.html
to perfom the reset.
If i try to charge it nothing happens, no lights, no battery indicator, i tried with a different charger aswell.

But after i try to turn it on, same thing happen again. I don't have another battery to try on... but could it be the battery??

Doing this way, if i plug it to my computer, it recognize the phone, but still cant put download mode my phone... is there anything i can do through here??

I let the phone unplugged and wiht no battery for like 30 min... tried again.. now it worked again!! everything is working properly...
Pd. right after performed root access with purple drake, after done rooting successfully went to reboot and got at the same state... i will wait a couple minutes and try again...

hehe so it worked again... i installed twrp, after i enter the TWRP menu and hit reboot, got same problem again... now i ahve to remove de battery and wait...
