I bought the Note 2 LTE gt-n7105 from hong kong and brought it over to the U.S. to use it on AT&T. But for some reason I can't find voicemail icon or access voicemail at all unless I download a voicemail app.
Does the international version not support voicemail?
Thx

I just unlocked my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 to work on At&T network. I have a iPhone contract on my At&T account so i know that visual voicemail will support. I tried to download diffent apk for ATT visual voicemail but it didn't connect. It stuck when I setup my passwork for Visual voicemail. Does anyone know which apk that will work?
Thank you
Hello, I got an LG G Pad X 10.1 GSM Unlocked from AT&T which works with Vodaphone - India. But I could not able to use the Call function. It has AT&T's Number Sync app and requires AT&T login which I dont have to get into the dialer. Other Dialer apps in Play Store are not working.
So, Is there anyway that I can enable the call & SMS function in this tablet...???
Thanks in Advance.
Get a Google Voice number, and install Google Hangouts and Hangouts dialer.
Does anybody have a fix for no voicemail notifications on the unlocked s8+ using it on Verizon I can't find a fix anywhere.

Download a voicemail app from the play store
I replaced Verizon voicemail with google voice voicemail, sends me a text and/or email whenever there's a voicemail.
I saw this on another thread here and it worked for me. Log into My Verizon and under My Plan & Services>>Blocks>>then Block services and block Visual Voicemail. I restarted my phone and then did a test VM and i get the little tape icon notification when the VM arrives.

Ok, you absolutely rock! I just wanted voicemail notifications for my Samsung 8 unlocked phone that I put on the Verizon network. I found out that my mailbox was full when my insurance agent told me he couldn't leave a message. I'm in MA and they may be trying something out here that is funky because there is no Verizon voicemail guide for our state either. Anyhow, I went into My Plan and blocked visual voicemail (since I couldn't download the app anyway) and I now get the little voicemail notification tape on the homescreen. THANK YOU! This info isn't available in the Verizon forums either.
Thanks blocking the visual voice mail feature on Verizon worked for my Samsung Galaxy S8 unlocked phone as well

This is so 1990's. Verizon is sending a clear message that unless you take their bloatware they will make life miserable for you. Ready to move out

Does calling yourself from the phone flip you to voicemail?

I needed to actually set the voicemail number on this device SM N900T running kitkat.
I have used the Samsung s4, nexus 5, iPhone 6s and I never set a voicemail number as I always called myself from my phone. It could be that I'm not with T-Mobile.
So calling yourself doesn't immediately prompt for the password?
Got it
Never mind that, figured it out, need SMN900A ATT NOTE 3 to change the voicemail number
Anyone on T-Mobile with the 5z? I have sketchy incoming voice and sms services with excellent signal. Missed calls and sms that just doesn't show up. I've tried auto config in carrier settings and manually selected T-Mobile US LTE for the apn. No difference.
I have this phone also on tmobile here in the US, no issues what so ever.

I have used it on T-Mobile without issues for 4 month. Before that I was on Metro PCS which is T-Mobile light and also a stint in Europe using T-mobile networks there - all with no problems.
I suspect GV is the culprit since zen ui doesn't allow configuring voice mail from anything other than "carrier".
I wonder if that changes in 9.0
Thanks for the replies.
I have the same.issue sometimes I get missed calls and texts it's not often maybe once or twice a week. I was going to try getting a new sim card to see if that helps

This issue continues...anyone using Google Voice successfully on this platform with T-Mobile? I just use GV for voicemail and some occasional sms on my GV number. Kinda sucks as I've missed some important calls and texts.
