Hi! I’m using the PAC MAN ROM, XXMF1 with 482 MB of Ram. Now, I want it with 600 MBs. How should I do it? Getting down to GB, install the leaks and then this MF1 or installing the leaks directly not passing through GB?
Thanks!
1. Boot to recovery and wipe data/cache/dalvik and format system
2. Flash MB4 fw with pit file + thick re-partition
3. Flash any FW for baseband (MC8,ME7,MG2...)
4. Boot to recovery and flash temporary cwm
5. Flash PAC
6. Reboot and enjoy
Useful tip : Make nandroid backup if something goes wrong
Or MB2 first, then f.e. MF1.

Last time I tried to flash ICS, I got a data partition error and hard bricked my phone. How can I safely get ICS on my phone? I want to try Blend ICS but first I need to flash ICS right? Should I Odin sfhub's stock rooted ICS? If someone could shed some light on how to change to ICS it would be appreciated. I'm currently running Blazer 4.1

I hope this helps.
I found this on the second post of the BLEND ICS in the dev forum. Good luck.
DETAILED FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR 1ST TIME USERS
You will want these items available on your sdcard...
-BLEND ICS v1.7
-BLEND ICS v1.7 Update Zip
-Rogue FB27 Kernel/Recovery
-FC05 Modem
-Mobile Odin from Market (Optional)
Now You Are Ready to Begin the Flash Process...
-Boot to your Current Recovery and do a Nandroid
-Wipe Cache
-Flash the rogue FB27 Kernel/Recovery.
-Wipe Cache
-Flash the FC05 Modem [Also included in the ROM, but doesn't always seem to stick after flashing]
-Wipe Cache
-Flash Calks Wipe all Zip 2 or 3 Times
-Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache 2 or 3 Times Each
-Flash BLEND ICS v1.7
-Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache
-Flash v1.7 Update Zip [Stock for Stock Gapps, Inverted for Inverted Gapps]
-Boot up and Enjoy
**A couple things to note, you will have FC05 Stock Kernel after flashing the Rom, If You want recovery, you need to wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache and Flash the Rogue FB27 Kernel/Recovery again after flashing everything else. Otherwise have the Tar and Odin available to get your recovery back. Some folks have been using the Stock Recovery, but I don't mess with it.
EDIT:
PS... Looks like he will have a new version up tonight. I would recommend waiting and trying the updated version tomorrow. Looks like it will have CWM on it so recovery would be much easier.
Starting from Caulkin's 2.9 ROM (my DD for now..),
-Make a nandroid
- I copy the nandroid to my PC, just in case. (dropbox for double safety)
-If the ICS rom you want to install is a tar, use Odin to flash that ROM.
-if Not, flash a Stock rooted ICS leak tar
-use auto root and install recovery
-flash the zip via recovery
-Use the autoroot tool to root + install recovery (if you didn't just do that)
To go back to GB,
-Flash a GB ROM via Odin (I just use the stock ROM)
-use autoroot to gain root and recovery
-recover your nandroid
-????
-profit!
This procedure has not failed me yet.
I don't know why but I just feel better using Odin to move between GB and ICS. ymmv
Thanks a lot! What happens if I mess up and need to Nandroid back? I believe my brick was caused last time from trying to recover GB from ICS. I had CWM Touch though which may have been why. Does it work if not using Touch?

Theese are the requirements:
⇒ baseband 70
⇒ New Baseband 72
⇒ 4.1.B.0.431 ICS 4.0.4 Root
⇒ CWM5.5.0.4 v7 Recovery
Be sure to have it or else install it prior to advancing to the next step.
"Settings/about phone" here you see baseband and and firmware of your phone.
You also gotta have root and cwm (the later you can get with an app called x-parts since you have a Xperia).
Now you have to do the following:
#wipe dat / factor reset
#wipe cache partition
#advanced / wipe dalvik cache
#Mounts and restore :
Format /Data
Format /system
Then you install the rom from within cwm when you've downloaded the rom to your sd-card (install zip)
Hope that info helped.
There are guides for each step here on xda if you just know what you want to do (for example: install cwm / root / upgrade firmware etc).
Good luck!

You should be able to flash the full 4.1.2 stock odexed or deodex ROM over your 4.1.1 without issue. However, depending on how many hacks you've got in place (frozen apps via Titanium, etc?) it may bark and cause some problem. But generally speaking. If you have all apps unfrozen by third party apps (disabled in App manager is okay), you should be able to do a "dirty" flash of the new full 4.1.2 stock rom without losing a thing.
This is the typical method for a "dirty flash" with a custom recovery such as CWM.
1. Download files (ROM and Baseband FW) and put them on you external or internal sdcard.
2. Reboot into your custom recovery
2. Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache
3. Flash Firmware
4. Flash ROM
5. Reboot

In process of making full 2.67 ftf. will make a seperate one tmrw with only baseband and kernel just its 3:08 am and almost passing out waiting for stuff to be done sorry will continue tmrw
Finally, a stock deodexed .67 rom. My prayers have been answered. This was made specifically for the C6506? I'd like to have an LTE icon instead of just plain 4G. Thanks.
Not sure about 4g icon or lte icon but if i can modify somehow to change it so it shows lte, then it will be done I am still working on making the 2.67 ftf and from then I have to make a flashable .zip from it tht can be flashed through cwm and then I have to port the xperia z rom over So I have my work cut out for me And not to mention I have my daily life to live too so I can't be doing this 24/7 lol. That would just drain me.
Waiting!

cant flash via cwm.. getting error massage
Did you do full wipe of /system /data /cache /dalvik cache? in cwm? and did you do everything in the instructions?
Can you deodex this rom?
That can always be done through an app from the play store long as you have root
I don't see any app that does it. What is it specifically?
I also get an error when trying to flash this.
"E:Error in /storage/sdcard1/ROM.zip"
There's no MD5 signature to verify. I am using CWM v6.0.4.4 and coming from the latest CM 10.2 Nightly.
android tuner is able to do it. its a free app
i made this by simply putting it all together so make sure you don't have signature verification on in cwm otherwise it won't work. Its just basic stock odex. Deodex is easy with android tuner and root is required for android tuner of course.

Could be my mistake, or bad download...but flash did occur, without any error messages. However, it simply did not copy any files. All I was left was a SONY logo. Had to press off inside SIM compartment and use flashtool to fresh install a FTF via flashmode.
Is it me or I just can't see an option in android tuner for deodexing the rom.
when u optimize all apps it deodexs it automatically and tht its all in the settings its really extensive though u have to go through everything to find it. everything can be set on boot pretty much
So, this is a deodexed rom? or not a deodexed rom?
What does it say in the title of the thread?

Says odex... but some of the posts left me wondering...
at this point, I think I want to say with deodexed...
Now I am on custom rom, what to do to flash stock rom? just flash zip file in TWRP? or should I flash stock TWRP or what?
You got some options:
But first a heads-up: you will lose all your data.
Zip-flash method:
Copy the stock rom flashable zip to your micro sd. Make sure you got the flashable zip! To be flashed in twrp.!
Boot to twrp.
Factory reset
Then wipe system partition
Now flash the zip.
Wipe dalvik and cache.
Reboot
Enjoy
Fastboot method: (will surely wipe everything)
Search for team one rescue firmware on our XDA.
Download the firmware package.
Boot your phone into bootloader.
Connect your phone to your PC.
Make sure you got your backup to your PC. Or micro SD.
Extract the firmware package and start
Flash-all stock recovery.bat
Or a name similar.
Wait until the phone reboots in its own, and DO NOT , disconnect the phone while in process of flashing.
Once the the Google setup is visible, you can safely disconnect your phone.
You should be back on marshmallow stock rom.
Do some ota updates. Enjoy,

Can I flash stock rom with this custom TWRP? I mean can I flash stock rom like custom ones via twrp?
Can I flash custom rom later after installing stock rom?

For starters, twrp is a custom recovery, so you don't have to put the word "custom" before twrp everytime you mention it. X)
There are flashable zips that contain the stock rom. So, in a sense, yes, but you can't do any ota updates.
Download any needed file before beginning to flash a new rom:
Custom Rom, Gapps and if you want root: Magisk or SuperSu. Put those files on your micro SD in your phone.
Create a backup in twrp. You Just have to slide from left to right, no need to select anything more than what is already selected from the start.
Before installing a custom rom, you have to always wipe system, data, dalvik and cache partition in twrp recovery.
Only then you can flash the stock rom, which can be downloaded in one of the threads here in our XDA Lenovo p2 forum.
Little need to know: before flashing any rom, do a factory reset in twrp and wipe system partition.
Be aware that by deleting the four partitions you will lose your app data, sms, call log and so on.
Internal storage however isn't affected, so your music und Pictures won't be deleted.

Thanks for your detailed answer I am now on custom rom, i will download stock rom from the sticky thread, although all links are dead but I will try to find a working link
BTW, what is the latest stock rom?
I think S251 ...i'm not sure though. It shiuld be the one with the highest number=latest version ?
I still think that custom roms are better than stock though but do what you think is right.
