Hey all. I'm trying to transfer a zip file from my LG Optimus g to my ouya. I have successfully paired the 2 together. when I go to send the file via blue tooth, the progress bar pops up on my phone and the ouya tells me I need to confirm to receive the file but a confirm button doesn't pop up on the system so I can't so anything. I would absolutely love if someone could help me. I have sent a file from my ouya to my phone but can't send a file from my phone to the ouya all because I can't confirm that I want the file.

OK im not sure if this post is in the right location but here's my dilemma:
I have a rooted motorola cliq and adb on my computer but recently i was trying to "unprotect" my market by editing the build.prop file in my phone's system.
CMD prompt was giving some weird "cross device link" error whenever i tried to copy the new edited build.prop from my sd card and replace the old system file so i decided to use an app instead, root explorer. the app worked perfectly, the problem is that i made an error in the edited file...
I deleted the line that starts with "ro.build.fingerprint=" like i was suppose to but i made a copy n paste error from the website i was using
(heres a link: androidforums. com/spica-all-things-root/98024-protected-app-market-fix-tutorial-build-prop. html
and i replaced that line with
"ro.build.fingerprint=verizon/voles/sholes/sholes:2.1-update1/ESE81/29593:user/rel (rest of lines)"
instead of
"ro.build.fingerprint=verizon/voles/sholes/sholes:2.1-update1/ESE81/29593:user/release-keys (rest of lines)"
(Ill attach the bad build.prop and the original so you can see what i mean)
Ok here come the main issue:
I didnt catch my mistake and i reset my phone to factory settings like the next step says to (i backed my apps up using mybackup which saves to the sd)
but when my phone turned back on, it repeadadly says that
"Sorry!
The process "(EVERY SINGLE PROCESS)" has shut down unexpectedly. Please try again"
I can see the motoblur screen in the back and in between pop ups i can click next and get the phone to the main menu which is completely blank
even the process "HOME" wont open. Luckily, in between fighting the pop ups of "this process has shut down" i can manage to get the phone to turn on usb mode. I COULD EASILY FIX MY PROBLEM BY EDITING THE build.prop but i need a way to get into my system folders, not sd card. On my computer, if i type adb devices in cmd is doesnt list any devices so cmd wont help me here...
SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW TO GET INTO THE SYSTEM FILES W/O ADB but with USB DRIVE
THANKS IF YOU READ THIS FAR and wish me luck!!!
P.S please recommend me to some other android help forums or anywhere i can get help is appreciated. this doesnt seem like it should be that hard a problem to fix...
I tried to send a file (apk, doc) to another device but it always said "not authorized". I could just send a picture to another device only. I could receive file from another device but I can't send it out.
Besides, when I tried to connect to another device, it error "paired but not connect" although I make it discoverable
Please help me! Thanks!
Please try to delete paired connection with the device and re-pair again.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
@jorjino2000: Thank for your help but it's not working.
I tried to flash the new radio & it's working

I don't think u can bluetooth apk file, u need to ZIP them first and bluetooth them. all the other files should be ok.
What is the other device? I can send any file I want back and fourth between my computer and my DHD. Doesn't matter the extension. Just not a folder. When sending to my computer I have to tell the computer first to get ready to receive a file.
Hi,
I have this problem when trying to send files to my friend's phone via bluetooth. Everytime I select a file and send it it says 'unable to send' or 'sending failed' or something like that but my friend can send files to me and I can recieve them no problem.
To try to send files I go into settings, turn on bluetooth, make my device visible, and pair it to my friend's phone. I can pair the phones but when I try to share a file I keep gettin that error. Am I doing something wrong? Is there another step involved in the process?
Thanks!
What ROM's are the phones running?
AOSP cannot NFC share/transfer files with ICS. One uses bluetooth to transfer and the other WiFi direct, from what I've heard/read.

I need help. I recently bought a lg g pad and I have some issues transferring data through usb, Its weird , since I can tranfer some files but I cannot transfer others. Anyway I tried to root it but unfortunately I couldn't. I've attached the command script window so you can see the error.
Could it be related to the fact that the tablet has issues transferring files???? Can anyone help me??? Thanks!!
Try to root with towelroot. You can have a look over here:

If you can use this to get ssh set up you can easily copy any files to your PC then copy them onto the USB drive or wherever you need them. If you can't do this there is another way with the adbfire tool but I'm not sure if you can pull from that location with that tool. You can also use pull through adb. Hopefully someone who is more familiar with it can give you the exact command how to pull that particular file.

Regardless of rootness. You can also use [APP] [Windows] Amazon FireTV Utility App v0.30 to back it up to C:\FTV\Kodi . Although not as fast as SSH it is still very dependable & very easy to use...
