[Q] Attempted to root, screen keeps flickering bootanimation - Kindle Fire 2 Q&A, Help and Troubleshooting

This is even more urgent because this tablet isn't actually mine, I did this for my girlfriend...
Okay, so I'm not familiar to the process of the kindle root at all, I'm used to HTC putting it all on a plate for me. So basically, I followed this thread, and after step one, the device rebooted, and now the screen takes around two seconds to render a single frame movement, and then the bootanimation will flicker up for about a tenth of a second and the process repeats. If anybody could guide me back to square one and I'll just leave the bloody thing unrooted then I will be very very grateful.
Edit: Lockscreen rendering fine, it's just the kindle launcher. Version 10.4.3.
Edit 2: Factory reset did the trick. Moderator lock the thread now please .

[Q] Notification bar is Shifting/scrolling up from the bottom

I have recently Rooted and flashed a custom rom onto my phone using the Exploid method from Unlockr . I also put the latest clockwork recovery on the phone using the Rom Manager App. After following the steps completley, My phone was successfully rooted W/ the CM7, however after about a day of using the phone with no problems, it started to scroll the screen vertically so the Notification bar started showing up at the bottom of the screen. It continues to scroll the entire screen upwards and sometimes even continues scrolling my screen up, however I can still use the touch screen as if the screen was in place. If it helps narrow down the problem, I am also having this problem In the bootloader,Recovery, splash screens as well. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance!
Your flex cable is going bad.
You need to RMA the phone or replace the cable yourself.
Awesome! Well, not entirley, just glad to know its a part I can replace myself and not a **** up during the root process. Thanks!
I had three slides all do that within warranty (not all mine), it seems to be quite common.

HTC Desire frozen lock screen issue

Hi,
Recently, my Desire HD has crapped out during the process of changing my back ground wall paper. It restarted and some how the screen got stuck on lock screen with the screen being totally unresponsive. I can tell the device is "semi-working" as the top bar shows that the phone does all its start up processes and the top lock button works (although it is with a delay).
Is there a reason why this is happening?
Any solution to it? (Yes I have gone through google for 2 hours without solution found)
If I have to resort to hard reset, is there any way I can back up my messages + things in the phone aside from programs before resetting?
Any help would be great!
Thanks in advance!
frozen lockscreen
my desire has done the same thing since rooting and using android rev rom. the only way i got mine to respond was to drop the battery out then put it back in and reboot with the charger plugged in and switched on. as soon as the phone is on, unlock it and use it. this did the trick with me. hope it helps.

[Q] Nexus 7 freeze and bugging, with video

Hi everyone, my brand new Nexus 7 2nd gen is malfunctioning on me :crying:
After moderate usage the back gets hot round the camera, and I get some odd pixelcolors and screen freezes. Rebooted into safemode, but the problem continues. Did a factory reset and browsed around in googlge earth, and it froze up again after some time. When it freezes I can hit the lock button and screen goes black, if I unlock the screen it turns back on only the screen has all kinds of colors all over.
Usually after 15-30 sec i can use it again. I have installed the newest updates.
So, my question is: Has anybody seen the same on their device? Is there a way to fix it, or is it a factory hardware malfunction?
I made a video while it froze, not the best example, but it shows the problem. But since i am a new user i cant post the link.
You can post it to the following forum...

You'll see that you're not at all alone....

Screen gone black - Big issue

I've delayed posting this for quier a while out of sheer laziness.
I wanted to try to change the boot animation after rooting with towelroot. Because I couldn't be bothered doing it manually, I downloaded a boot animation app to change it for me. I was trying to change it to the Nexus Pie BA. Immediately I rebooted it to test if ig was working.
It ran through the first un-animated LG logo, then went (backlit) black. I figured maybe it hadn't installed correctly, so I'd just wait a little longer for it to finish booting up. Eventually I realized it wasn't going to. It was pretty much stuck on a backlit black screen. I knew it was responding because it would vibrate when I hit the nav buttons. When I rotated it, about 30% of the screen was working normally. I later factory reset it, and it booted fine and was working, but I eventually had to turn it off and the screen stopped displaying things again.
What should I do?
I really need to know how to fix this issue somehow, it's been a brick for too long.
Cheers to anyone who can help.

D851 Screen Fade Out Black - Is my Phone dead?

Well, long time with my old body D851, yesterday after I install TecKcafe everything was wonderful, fast and stable,
Unfortunately after try the camera I realize the screen starts to flicker and fades out black.
I already did a factory Reset – No success
Flash Stock TOT and KDZ – No success
The screen turns On and even the Phone boots, but after a few mins the screen fade out black and the only option is to wait for it to cool down in order to get screen back but just for a couple of minutes, weird is that I dont feel that hot to drive the phone to fade out.
I already research a lot on the internet as well as this forum and see this can be a board issue, does anybody know if there is a permanent solution for this or if I have to start thinking in replace my old loved G3
Great phone, just remove the board and reseat all the cables, working as new.
If Admin sees this please close this Thread.
Thanks.
