Accessory Wish List

OK, maybe I am just too geeked about this phone, but I figured we should put a wish list up for those of us that cannot stop drooling over this device.
I know the Atrix has a decent size battery, but I am often without a charger and the more juice I have is the better. SO...
I wish Mophie would make a Juice Pack case for the Atrix 4G. They make some of the best extended battery cases for iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad I have ever used. The quality and extra battery life they have brought my iPhones has been unparalleled by anything else I have ever used. It would be sweet to have something like this for the Atrix.

A battery pack would be awesome; I can't really think of anything better though.

and a cheaper multimedia dock (aka just a $20 charging station /w USB hub and hdmi adapter).
Coming from an old Tilt with hardware keyboard, I'd also like to see a portable mini-keyboard to connect to the Atrix - wired or wireless. Something like the foldable iGo Stowaway Keyboard would be nice, but that one appears to be discontinued.
Really what would be ideal would be some sort of usb-like add-on that clips onto the phone and gives it an optional phone-sized keyboard for those times that it's useful - and can be left in a bag otherwise.
I sometimes take notes on my phone, and I don't see touch-screen tapping being as convenient as a physical keyboard (even if it's miniature). The laptop dock is a neat idea ... but even if it wasn't overpriced, all you really need is a tiny keyboard to take notes, which is a lot easier to carry around than a full-sized (pseudo) laptop for times you don't expect to need it.

I'd like to see a better battery an a Bluetooth keyboard case - similar to the Keyboard Buddy for the iPhone.

Wondering what people do for a case for the keyboard. When you go places do you just carry the keybaord open like that?
I just got it and love it. Just wondering what you all do.

Are you folks useing the Wireless Keyboard for ATRIX™ / XOOM™*? If so how about a review on this keyboard? does it work well with the xoom? and if so why is it a better keyboard for useing with the xoom? THANKS!

I am also thinking about the "official" Motorola BT keyboard. I played with it for a few minutes in the Verizon store and I liked it (minus the price tag). I was wondering if it has any option to be charged or connected to a power source in any way or if it runs on batteries exclusively. My ultimate goal is to design my own portfolio that I can use with the keyboard.

I have the Motorola ARTIX / XOOM bluetooth keyboard. I really like it. It comes in handy when you need to type out a long email. I really like the shortcut buttons, it has them for Gmail, Browser, Contacts, Messaging (doesn't work on the XOOM), Search, Home, Menu and Music. It also has volume controls, stop, play and track forward / back buttons. It is a little laggy, but I figure that's just because it's bluetooth. It takes 2 AA batteries, and I don't think that you can use anything else, no place to plug in a charger or anything. The more I use it the more I like it actually. The hard part is shelling out $70 for it.

i have the keyboard. The only lag I expierence is when typing on forums. For email and talk it is very capable. Also very light and compact. Would purchase again. I could do up a review when I get home.

A review would be much appreciated the two things stopping me from buying it are 1. How portable it is and 2. If its worth the price tag

I owned and returned it.
portability was decent, largeish as far as BT keyboards go but nothing major.
price is more than double other similar keyboards, but it has the dedicated keys, which you might like
quality I found to be on the cheapish side, given the premium price.

Blue tooth keyboard

Is anyone using a Bluetooth keyboard with their phone? There are a couple different options out there it appears. A foldable, closer to full size, and and small pocket type keyboard. Just curious if anyone has used either and their feedback.

I'm not using a bluetooth keyboard now but I have in the past. When traveling I didnt want to take a laptop and used my smartphone to get emails but could never type on the tiny built in keyboards or screen keyboards. I used a small foldable keyboard that holded into a unit just a tad larger than a back of cigarettes. When needed I would just unfold it and plug my phone into it.
I had both bluetooth and USB. They were made by Fellowes and were super handy and small to carry around, I wasn't about to carry a full keyboard of any kind when travelling. I don't know if they are still being made but I intend to look for another one to use as a travel keyboard.

Bluetooth Android Keyboard

Hi guys,
Do any Note owners use a bluetooth keyboard? (and mouse?)
Instead of buying a PC for my bedroom which I don't really need, I am just gonna connect my Note to my TV using the HDMI cable but it would be nice if I had a decent keyboard and mouse to use when browsing the web. They do not have to be tiny since they will be used at home but does anyone have any recommendations?

Honestly man they all work equally well. I have the Motorola BT keyboard and it's very comfortable. It includes the media features like the play/pause/stop/skip/and volume as well as some shortcut buttons for the browser, music, back, and home button. It's nice and easy to use. I also have the logitech mouse and it works nicely. But it's really up to what would be most comfortable to you as they all work pretty much the same.

that states Android 3.0+ is the bluetooth protocol versions the same between GB and HC?
SOLVED: online reviews have this paired to older phones and tablets with FROYO and GB.. so yup its all ok.

It looks very nice, but a tad too expensive.

I have the logitech keyboard and it does not work with the stock rooted GB note OOTB. I am waiting for ICS to troubleshoot it if I will even need to. Supposedly it will work with anything above android 3.0. It does come with a very nice multi-function case/stand though, so when it does work with the note I will probably begin carrying it instead of my laptop.

got my pretty HP WebOS BT Keyboard QWERTZ for 22Euro from amazon
works with normal batteries, extra functions: back, for music: play/pause, loud+-, silent
also using I-Tec Bluetouch 243 laser mouse (small to midsize, nice to use)
with on/off switch,
3 cursor speeds,
pressing scrollwheel opens menu
(the 2 additional side buttons so far without function on my note)

I found this one on ebay and would like to try it:
It's 14$, it is big enough for 10 finger writing and it looks very nice. Has anyone maybe tried it?

Logitech Tablet Keyboard

I just purchased and began using today the Logitech® Tablet Keyboard for Win8/RT and Android
[Was gonna post a link or URL here but not allowed to as new user]
So far I am very impressed. Was easy to pair yet secure where you need to enter a code on the keyboard that displays on the SGN 10.1. Has solid feel, used (4) AAAs that are installed when you get it. Bought at Best Buy for $69.99.
Has a hard carry case that apparently can double as a stand....have not tried that and don;t plan to as I use the Belkin cover that stands the SGN 10.1 up nicely.
I use the Samsung soft keyboard most so I didn't have to turn off SwiftKey or anything. I do notice that the soft or virtual keyboard pops up more often than I would like, but it is easily enough dismissed.....if someone has a way to improve that I am all ears by the way.
Will update later but really liking it so far.

Mine has a lag between inputting and what you've inputted appearing on screen.

Sadly in the UK (ane EU) Logitech are a few years behind the market and only sell the Apple version.

I didn't have any luck with this keyboard. It was laggy and also every now and then repeated keys infitely. I tried it out on my Windows 7 laptop and had similar issues. I ended up going with the Galaxy Tab 8.9 Keyboard Dock instead.

I have two Logitech keyboards. I purchased the android keyboard many of you are talkiing about a year or more ago. There was some lag.
I just got the Note 10.1 couple weeks ago. I got this keyboard since I was in money spending mode http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/10704?crid=27
The newest keyboard is much smoother, never times out, and is easier to type with. Just my opinion. I just tested both.
I'm jyst barely smart enough to be somewhat dangerous but not nearly as smart as most that follow this stuff. My guess is the new keyboard is more compatible with bluetooth and I wonder if the way they charge has something to do with it. I think the first keyboard charges with batteries and times out. The newer keyboard K810 is a plug in charger. You can let it sit for 30 minutes and it starts up right away the second you start typing.

Logitech Tablet Keyboard for Windows 8, Windows RT and Android3.0+
This is the keyboard that I did not have much luck with. There is a similar model logitech sells as well. I think it is the predecessor to this one.
