Hi, has anyone figured out how to swap the internal sd card with the external sd card for Samsung Galaxy Ace 2x GT-S7560M, so that I can use my external sd card for data, games, etc.? I've heard of directory bind, but I don't know how to use it, if someone has used directory bind before, can you please give me a detailed tutorial?
here,
but I don't know for sure. for my phone it didn't work so I'm waiting for a wizard. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250880

I am running the T-Mobile Galaxy S III CM10 Nightly, I have the 16GB version with a 16GB SD Card. I for some reason don’t have the option to move apps to my SD Card? I tried a 3ed party app to do this but get an error saying I’m out of space but the SD card is blank?
I tried a few different SD Card with no luck? My file manager can see the SD Card and its content? I tried running a fix permissions but still no luck?
You can't move apps to your Sdcard. Samsung is to blame for this.

I was just giving you crap,
I would love for someone who knows more about this topic to actually reply with some details. But to offer my limited understanding, I have read of two options to move apps/data to ext SD:
Directory Bind, which you can read more about here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1889550.
and
Link2SD, which you can read more about here, specifically with respect to the S3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33831712&postcount=3379
I do not know how well these options truly work, as I am still investigating it for myself, but hopefully this will help. Of course, again, I would love for someone with more knowledge of this - specifically with respect to the S3 - to post here and offer some help.

Would you mind telling me how you partitioned your SD card? did you do something like in this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1726014&page=2. If so, and it works, that would be great... I did not know titanium backup had this feature. Thanks!

I didn't partition the sd. Didn't know I was supposed to. I'm not sure what that does or what the benefit is. I'm very much the noob when it comes to that. Sorry for not having a good answer for you.

While it seems this thread is somewhat dead, I thought I would post my findings on this topic. Using Directory Bind, following the setup in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1889550 works great - I have moved several games to my sd card without any problems. You can download Directory Bind here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262. I installed version 0.2.0o. I hope this helps.

This is great, was just going to post that link Sorry to bump a dead thread, but I wanted to pass along something else useful. There is also this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849860 Where you flash a script and use a script manager app to to edit the init.d file to allow sd card mount on boot, essentially making the phone think that the external card is the internal storage.

Beg all you like, but it's in vain. Apps2SD doesn't work on JellyBean. This is the new Google Way™.

I rooted my phone last weekend i followed this link via Youtube.
After doing all of the process i successfully rooted my phone, but the problem is
When i tried to transfer the Games to SD. I still cant transfer it, though i already have a LINK2SD App.
It is asking for a 2nd partition on the phone that i should create.
Can anyone please help me.

Hey folks,
I recently rooted my note 2 gt n7100 and flashed dr ketans 4.3 rom onto it.
I made a backup using cwm beforehand and I am trying to restore using that backup via cwm but it says cannot open directory and no file found. I have the backup saved on both my sd card and internal memory. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

Yeah. CWM has screwed you over like it did to me a few days ago even though I am aware of this fault... 4.2.2+ have a different partition layout for reading SD card. You may have noticed you have a new folder called /0 and when you go in it your internal data is there right? This is for multi user and other things. CWM cannot read itself because /0 is in the way. Try moving the folder from /0/ClockworkMod out of the /0 folder...
This is why I use TWRP now... However it should read your external SD back up.

You are correct when you talk about the /0 for the internal storage. The external storage however is not under 0 and I have the backup saved there yet it still does not read it. If I install twrp will it read the cwm backup?

No it won't. Try moving the internal on out, I think you may have gotten unlucky and the external back up is actually corrupt.

The internal backup and external backup are one and the same. I just copied the external one into the internal folder to see if it would work. Would you know where I can get a stock touch wiz which is not network locked?
