Hey guys
I've had my note 2 for almost a month now and the wifi was working fine till today. It connects to my modem but doesn't open anything.
I've tried resetting my phone and modem but it didn't work. I also disabled Wifi battery saver and it didn't work either. I can't think of anything else...
Oh and other devices such as my sister's 4S/notebook connect without issues.
Nevermind,fixed it.
The problem was that my phone was connecting to a different IP(I don't know how the hell that happened).
Set my IP/PW manually in my modem and it's working fine now
So I am having some wifi problems. Like most I have 5 or 6 wifis that I connect to on my phone. My issue is that I will need to use my data and my phone's wifi is stuck on trying to connect to a wifi network that is no longer available. I can't turn wifi off or anything. My only fix is to restart the phone. Any clues?

Yes. I believe I'm experiencing the same thing.
Here's my situation, I have the Rogers LGOG (Not rooted) and the reception @ work is extremely poor. So I turn on wifi to connect. I'm able to connect to my corporate wifi, but when I leave to go between floors and I'm out of my wifi range and return, I'm not able to connect. WI-FI is ON and it keeps searching for hotspots, but I'm not able to connect and the only way for it to work again is to reboot. Now, this does not happen consistently, but it has happened a few times to where I'm wondering is this a problem with the OS or is it the phone.
Any thoughts on this to point me to the right direction would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
Same problem with F180K, but there an OTA update arrived yesterday saying "Wifi bug fix".
Cant tell if they really fixed it, cause im waiting for my flight, so cant test it right now.

I have a att Lg optimus G E970, I think I have the same issue, only solution is restart
It's really odd, when i set the "keep wifi on during sleep" to never and turn off the screen till the wifi is off and then turn on the screen again, it says that the wifi is off but the internet is actually working, im even not able to enable/disable the wifi setting when this occurs, i tried resetting my phone but it didnt work? is this a hardware issue? should i take it to store and ask them to fix it (still got a few weeks of my warranty left)?
Is internet connection made by data cell phone? (eg. 3g)
That way you will still have internet, but Wifi is off.
If not, did you try a reboot?
Sometimes the wifi on my device looks 'stuck' too, not being able to change it correctly. After a reboot everything is well then.
if your on 4.3 or 4.4 there is an option "scan for wifi (even when wifi is off). disable that. although im guessing you already have.
2nd bet is Mobile Data... though. if your actually on wifi. go into your router. it will say all the connected users on your wifi.
Ok. Here we go. have a Sprint M8 that has been flashed to cricket. Everything was fine until I recently changed phone numbers. Now I cant access gmail, chrome, play store and youtube while on wifi. Everything works fine when I turn wifi off. But as soon as I turn it on everything except the browser stops working. Tried clear data and delete wifi network from phone and reconnect but that is not helping. Nor is resetting the router.
Please help. Been spending many hours searching trying to fix this issue.
In desperate need of help. Anyone?
Anyone having issues with not finding their home wifi? I'm in my house and all of a sudden the wifi will disappear and can't find it either. The only solution is to restart the phone over and over again.
Hi, yes same problem. You can fix it by going into airplane mode for 2 minutes.... but still this is a very annoying problem and the nubia support recommends to wipe the phone..... did that and same issue.... dunno what to do.
Did you find a fix in the meantime?
Hmm never had that issue with mine, did you go to the wifi settings and turn on 5g? Not sure if that is the reason it never happens to me or not. I can connect to my 5g Asus router which is on the 1st floor, and get 80 Mbps up and down on the 3rd floor. Wifi calling and text work fine to atleast with t mobile, maybe try turning that on? Hmm let's see what other settings I changed, can't think of anything else. My phone is updated to the latest update.
I also contacted nubia. I have no choice but to send the phone back which sucks because it's great for gaming.

The thing is, the wifi works as long as your at home. When you leave the range of that WIFI and come back to it, it simply wont show ANY WIFI... it seems as the WIFI- Service stopped working..... only airplane mode does work.
try and reset the network setting. I read somewhere that it's to do with the saved wifi's. I didn realized but I had 20 wifi's saved that have been transfered from my previous phone. I haven't had an issues since.
