You can flash any customization you like, but be aware that these are all branded firmwares, so they may contain logos and/or apps from their carrier. Build 10.3.A.1.423 hasn't been released yet for the (unbranded) Generic BR customization. You may also flash one of the unbranded Xperia ZL C6503 firmwares if you like (e.g. Generic DE, Generic SG, etc.), see [INFO] Latest firmware version per customization (region/branding).

Nobody on XDA will be able to tell you when, but Vivo still hasn't released any update until now (they're still on the initial 10.1.A.1.350 firmware!), so it might take a (long) while. You'd better contact them and ask why they haven't released any updates for their Xperia ZQ yet.

This roms doesn't do anything to your chip.
You can use any flavor you want, if something goes wrong or if you doesn't like it, just restore back your carrier version. Don't forget to backup your stuff.

All firmware customizations are based on the same generic base system. The only difference is the customization package (containing region-specific apps and settings) that has been added. Unless one of the region-specific bundled apps is causing a lag, switching to a different customization will not make any difference, because the system files are the same.

Nice! Now that I've just flashed the BR version of the older 434... Wonder if it's going to be any better than the one I've got at this time. Many thanks!
What is the difference between this ROM and the older 454, can someone clear that for me?
I found some differences on the internet:
performance enhancements,
white balance display calibration,
soft keys and nav bar changed to black (instead of grey)
as well as an option to disable the notification light amongst other things.
Anybody can rebuild this firmware to zip archive flashable by cwm? This need to save root on our ZL.

Download both part and extract using 7zip. Normally new phone with 1080 display will have around 700-800mb rom size.
Flashed on c6502,the mobile signal is so weak compared to 4.1.2. Anyone else got this issue?
my phone currently preloaded with singapore version, and i would like to use malaysia version since i live in malaysia, btw is this required unlocked bootloader?will it make the bravia engine 2 vanish? and will i able to get software updates officially after flashing this? just curious
This is just a stock ROM, you won't lose updates etc and you don't need to unlock the bootloader.

Yes, it does. If you are talking about language. If you're talking about your LTE region, I can say that it has the same network (AMERICAS-LTE), so it'll work for you! Go ahead, try your LTE and report to me. When an carrier as Telcel/Movistar MX releases a firmware I'll try to post on xda too.

Hi, I've upgraded mine M5 to Andorid 6.0 and didn't like it.
So I've downgraded with XperiFirm soft CDA 1300-5614, Central Europe 5, 30.1.A.1.55 / R3A, but in stock camera app there is not "skin smooth" option.
Is this option in submitted ftf and customization? Sadly I didn't check what customization I've had on stock Android 5.1, and now looking blindly for exact firmware that I had after buying phone.
EDIT: is this firmware it normally upgradable to 30.1.A.1.55? I don't want to go to Marshmallow again...
