Pretty sure me flashing an asop rom is was causeed this. For some reason when I do my phone put all my internal memory into one folder called 0 and starts a completely new internal store file. Its not a big deal but its a little annoying haveing to move everything I want to flash over to my sd card.

Its to do with andorid 4.2's implementation of multiple users. There is a zip somewhere called "Flash before downgrade" or something like that that will move it back for you

Looking at the root of my SD card, I see all these init.d scripts. I'm sure this is the result of my flashoholism Now I'm sure I don't need all of these present so which of these can I delete? Default.prop is the top item. If it matters I'm running Andromadus Mimicry atm.

On your sdcard? Looks like the root of the phone itself, make sure you're actually on the sdcard, or that you didn't accidentally copy everything including the folders to the sdcard.

Hey guys. Hope this is the right section for this post. Just noticed I only had 1 gig of memory left. Seems odd since I usually don't put too much garbage on my SD card.
Any who I cleared some junk and noticed something weird. Used space is showing about 4 gig. But only shows 4 gig available?!
Doss that mean only half the SD card is actually usable??
Thanks.

Nandroid backups?
Ya I guess but I thought those were saved on the SD and it would take into acct everything on the SD card.
On a side note....I have almost 2 gigs worth of blobs!! Is that normal?? Seems mighty high.

can always use twrp.
In latest versions of cwm, you can change the backup method back to tar in the backup and restore menu, should be easy to find.

Normal, remember to remove the blobs folder, the tar format makes it easier and faster to move using MTP too.

I tried flashing this. It switched the internal memory into the external memory, but then my external card disappeared (basically both external and internal was listed as the internal memory).
Are there other steps besides just flashing the file you linked?
Many thanks.
Sdcard0 should be external card now and external card should be internal did u try and unmount and mount again in settings in storage it should of switched places not put together

Yes. I'm on stock rooted. Here's a screen shot showing how basically both the internal memory and external card is listed as about the same... about 16gb. My external card is 64gb.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
You have a 16gb internal and 16gb external card because the remaing space on both card are different from what I see on your screenshot
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
Yeah I noticed that too re the different available space but add you can see my external is actually 64gb (after removing the mod).

Just so you know. If you formatted your 64gb SD card in the Note 2, it formats in (exFat). I recommend this way. I've formatted on the note 2 with this mod and it works. Make sure you download the correct mod for (exFat). By the way I'm on stock rooted deodexed LK8.

Did the thread i linked to do no help? The zip in that thread will put you back on stock unrooted mb1.
I honestly don't think root has anything to do with your memory issue. I would bet there is leftover crap that didn't get deleted somewhere.
You can try formatting your internal sd card, though that'll delete everything, but it'll give you a fresh start.
Make sure to have a backup of something on your external sd card though.

If your memory is low, make sure you don't have ROMs or big downloads left over from downloads. Make sure you delete the backups with a file explorer.
