Help pleace
my Xperia ZL is troble (locked bootloader),when i play games on xperia zl is a reboot, but I can not get into the home,. xperia zl always reboot,.
so I started with flashing with SEUS,. after flashing my phone can not boot "system force close"
using flashtools with firmware (C6503) 253-Generic MEA Africa - Arabic R5A.ftf 1272-3738) ,.
but there are some problems, signal is lost,simcard not detected :crying:
Any solution..???

you try flash ftf file again via flashtool?

I have a R800i model and I can't find the stock 4.0.2.a.0.42 firmware anywhere to root it... Can I flash the R800a firmware into it? Will it cause any trouble?

If you have locked bootloader, you can use PC Companion to flash .42 firmware
If you have unlocked bootloader you can use Sony's Emma software to flash .42 firmware
Then just root it with zergrush method...
But if you can't find it that way, i'll upload that firmware, but it may take hours, so first try PC companion or Emma
Thank you man! Used Emma and it worked like a charm!
Issue: Flashtool wont flash because ATT Xperia Ion doesn't have the correct drivers to do so and sony pc companion refuses to do so itself.
backstory: I was modding some stuff, i messed up and thought "should just reflash" went to reflash and realized it was failing and found another solution "barely" and i dont want the failed flashing to ever happen when i need it
OS: windows 8.1
basically i need to install drivers for xperia ion flashtool to flash

there has been driver issues with flashtool and windows 8/8.1 i dont use windows so i cant help you
how ever since the problem is quite common i suggest you google some (aka how to setup flashtool on windows 8)

is this rom change the notif panel too? best part of Z2 ui is the notif panel, but icant find it
Hey Guys, my English is not really good but I try. My Handy (Xperia Pro MK16i) had a Firmware 2.3.4 and I wanted 4.0.4. I have use Flashtool but, after then, my Handy dont boot anymore. And give a Warn Sign. It is a warn triangle. (I dont know, what the correct name of this is) When I use Flashtool again, then is in a few seconds the connected broken. What can I do? I have so much search in googel, but I found nothing b'cause nothing did work. Is it possible that this phone works again? I have try to make "Hard Reset", but nothing helps.

I have try Xperia Companion too, but no connection to my Handy and I dont know why? This Program gave me always a Message "My mobile is locked" and My Handy has no spport anymore. Who can help?
