EDIT*** i just tried to download the ics message app from the market and it gave me a duplicate authority error msg. so mabe this is the problem.
Get APN Settings Shortcut, put the widget/shortcut on the homescreen.
Make a new entry in the app,
Name = Verizon
APN = internet
MMSC = http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
Menu > Save > Tick the circle on the listing.
Now your mms should work on any app, including the default one.
Hope this made sense.
This is another way. The other way includes the Verizon messages app. I never had to do it though.

Make sure that your APN is set correctly. I also had this problem and it was just because I didn't set MMS APN correctly.
What's the T-Mobile APN settings?

Just Google T-Mobile APN settings... I live in Canada you know XD
Flashed successfully last week, rooted now and running CM10 with ParanoidAndroid 2.54. Talk, SMS, Web, Wi-Fi, Bluethooth, pretty much everything but MMS. I installed APN Backup - Restore, used TB Pro and added as system app.
Backed up current APN list, downloaded and edited to what I have found on the interwebz as the correct APN settings for Verizon, copied back to device and restored through APN Backup and Restore, no errors or issues. Reboot, sent test MMS, nadda, zip, zilch. Message is stuck "Sending..." forever..
I know about GO SMS, however all it does is send a hyperlink of the image to the recipient to go fetch the attachment, which I can pretty much do with DropBox and enable camera uploads..
Did I search the fourms? Yes I friggin did! If anyone out there can point me to the right file, APN list, anything ... I would appreciate it :good:

Those are the stock apn settings for each carrier.
Settings > more> mobile networks > access point names.
To check imei.
Settings > about phone> status> imei (anything other than "0" is good)

In one of the things I was searching, a Bell website came up and told me to also set "MMS protocol: WAP 2.0". Do I need to do that?

Still won't send. What network mode should I have? I am currently using GSM/WCDMA preferred. I have two other options:
LTE/WCDMA
LTA/GSM/WCDMA
By the way, I prefer to use 3G because LTE drains my battery I heard. And I can't use 2G because the signal completely disappears.

Select lte/gsm/wcdma and try that. Worry about disabling lte after you can send a text.
Are you using the stock mms or a third party app?
Some third party apps don't play nicely with some Roms

when changing apns or network mode, it helps to reboot after making the selection. give that a shot if you hadnt already.

Free thanks there....
With this problem I have found that I have had to completely delete the APN and then add it back in and reboot. Delete, add it back in manually and then reboot.
You might have to reboot between deleting and re-adding.

I have one labeled "Bell Flex"
APN: inet.bell.ca
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: Not set
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC: Same as "Bell" APN
MMS Port: Not set
Can I delete that one?
Not familiar with Bell APN settings but I'm sure they can be googled. I deleted all the APN's in my phone and only added then one I needed.
I believe you can restore defaults at any point as well.

I know this is probably a question that has already been asked but I have been searching and trying so many different things and none seem to work. I recently flashed the CandyKat ROM and now I'm not receiving group texts. I can send them I just can't receive them. I have an AT&T Galaxy S3 and I use hangouts. I had the liquid smooth rom before this and I had to change the APN settings and I got it to work, but now I can't find those settings again. Can someone send me the correct settings that I should be using?
Google search..... At&T apn settings
